NBC has changed the title of Tooken to "UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT"

A new singlecam comedy from multiple Emmy Award winners Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Ellie Kemper is set to star as Kimmy, a young woman who escapes from a doomsday cult and starts life over in New York.

Produced by Universal Television and Little Stranger, Inc., and set to debut in fall 2014, the series will center on a woman (Kemper) who escapes from a doomsday cult and starts life over in New York City.

Fey and Carlock, who will serve as writers for the series, will executive produce with David Miner.

  1. Still not a great title but better than Tooken!

  2. what does PKA mean? I am a but confused, what is the show going to be called?

  3. Previously Known As. Tooken was the old title.

  4. I actually liked Tooken, even if I didn't know what it meant.!

Oy, sounds weird and stupid at the same time.

  6. Both titles are stupid and I can't decide which is worse. And that's what this show is about? I'll probably give it a chance for Ellie, though.

  7. What the hell is wrong with show titles nowadays? It has been a while that some shows are getting awful titles. Do a marketing research, people!

  8. Tooken: alternative or ghetto form of "taken"

  9. Why Not Just Unbreakable.

  10. Because that'd make it sound like a drama, I guess.
