Series low for The Following. Highest Blacklist ratings since Christmas. Intelligence average but will be cancelled.

ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so, now that the big Voice premier is out of the way hopefully. But the demo didn't adjust down and that's way more important. I was worried the demo would adjust down when I saw the numbers for 8:30.

ReplyDeleteSame but if FOX keeps it they need to air it earlier in the season or a different night. A scifi show can't compete Monday nights against solid blocks of successful and established comedy and reality TV shows. I think the DVR numbers show there is enough interest to air it another night where it can build an audience, provided FOX stops enforcing a procedural format for season 2.
ReplyDeleteI hope so but lots of people are very negative about it. I regularly look at the STV Cancellation prediction Table but not the database. I look at the ratings when they come out & wikipedia has the same numbers. I check.
ReplyDeleteThe negativity is usually how the Internet rolls. Its sad but they smell blood and people are more interested in drama than anything else. I tend to stick to this site for ratings analysis and in general people here are realistic without being unnecessarily negative. It's kind of refreshing. And there is plenty of support on Twitter which is really nice.

ReplyDeleteI'm so depressed about the Being Human news, i can't even bring myself to care about the ratings now. Long sigh! = ( And i'm not worried about The Following in the least bit. Last night's episode was epic! Star-Crossed, it's a new series, so it'll be a bit before ratings boost up, if they boost up. And i'm not exactly attached to it. B/c it just started, so also not a big deal, for me anyway.

ReplyDeleteI really hope we're not heading for another Terra Nova situation with Almost Human. The ratings aren't too terrible, but do they justify the high production costs?
ReplyDeleteDidn't bother with the second season of The Following. Don't count Intelligence out yet - it does VERY well in the DVR numbers and CBS will count those...
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 has been fantastic. Ratings are falling fast though. Won't get a third season.
