This table shows the early overnight ratings. These ratings are normally adjusted later in the day when all the ratings have been consolidated to take into account any local preemptions and/or overruns. You can find all the final adjusted numbers in our Ratings Database. (See the About section below for details about ratings)

Earlier in the evening, a repeat of “NCIS” on CBS topped the 8 p.m. hour with a 7.1/11. Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.
The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).
Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.
Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above.
Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). Friday's Final Adjusted Ratings are normally available on the following Monday.
If you’re interested in Ratings/Renewals/Cancellations then we have a number of resources here at SpoilerTV that we recommend you check out.
we shall see if TO and SPN benefitted in the A18-49
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I will be surprised if one or both don't drop in 18-49. I wasn't really expecting an increase. We'll see though.
ReplyDeleteSame here. I'm guessing they will be both down. I would love to be wrong though.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 1.2 Supernatural! But damn, it bugs me that whenever more people tune in to this show it's always for the bad episodes. Why couldn't last weeks episode have aired this week? That way there would have been a better chance of staying at a 1.2 next week as well. But after lasts nights poor episode people who don't usually tune in but did last night, certainly won't tune in next week.
ReplyDeleteI did not like last night's episode, but I'm happy that SPN is still getting great ratings (for the CW) and if the data is correct a great amount of viewers, half a milion more than The Originals. :)
ReplyDeleteThis was exactly my thought! Why couldn't it have been last week's episode which was fantastic!?
ReplyDeleteThe episode might have been a bad one but I think fans were happy that it was a MOTW episode and tuned in to see Sam and Dean on a hunt, with no boring angels around.
ReplyDeleteSPN got a 1.0 not a 1.2 according to the chart.
ReplyDeleteI think the highest rated/most viewed episode Supernatural has ever had was for the Route 666 episode back in season one, which pretty much everyone agrees is one of the worst episodes the show has ever done haha. It's just unlucky like that I guess.
ReplyDeleteI could have sworn it said 1.2 a few minutes ago. TVBTN is reporting 1.2 as well.
ReplyDeleteThere was a typo o when we first posted. If you press refresh you should see the updated table
ReplyDeleteTO is steady week after week a second season is secure!
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't surprise me if the CW announced the renewals of SPN, Arrow, TVD and TO in the next couple of weeks. I think they did it in February last year.
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteah ok yeah I got that, I thought he might've used a different source.
ReplyDeleteYeah last year they were the first one in renew TVD, Arrow and SPN i hope this is the same! im scared about Reign tho i dont think it has a chance
ReplyDeleteI think Reign will get at least 2 season, some people at CW really wanted it to be made they even chose it over the selection so i think we are safe.
ReplyDeleteI think Reign is safe. It's The Tomorrow People that should be worried more.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to doubt it'll get a season 2 because that 0.6 rating is still quite low. Only a tenth above the tomorrow people. What if the tomorrow people ticks up a tenth? which can easily happen. I would have been sure of a season 2 if Reign atleast had a 0.7-0.8 rating.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we were wrong.
