Saving Hope - Episode 2.02 - Little Piggies - Synopsis

2 Jul 2013

Alex (Erica Durance) is taking a cardiac course in the pig lab, led by Charlie’s ex-wife Dawn (Michelle Nolden), when her nerves end up getting the best of her. Dawn is quick to capitalize on the opportunity to call Alex out, which doesn’t set them off straight for the rest of the episode.

It’s only when they end up sharing a patient with cardiac problems that Alex must swallow her pride, be the better person, and figure out how she can not only work with Dawn – but learn from her as well, for the interest of their patient. Similarly, Joel (Daniel Gillies) finds himself still learning to tread water as Chief of Surgery at Hope Zion Hospital.

At first, his ego wins out, but near the end Joel looks to Charlie (Michael Shanks) for advice on a patient with an extremely rare bone disease. Meanwhile, Charlie connects with a comatose patient who is seemingly never waking up. Through dealing with the patient’s spirit and getting some helpful advice from Gavin (Kristopher Turner), Charlie helps his patient beat all odds.

  1. Can anybody tell me if there is a place I can go to see Saving Hope Season 2 online?

At the very least I better be able to get it on DVD! (I live in the US)

*amn NBC for picking up the show and getting me hooked, only to take it off.

Yeah, yeah ratings, but I am so anxious to see it.

It is so strange I see BBC shows from Britain but I can't see shows from Canada. Well, I do, but it's not the same channel Saving Hope is on (I have CBC which is why I can watch Heartland live).

  2. Are you able to watch it on CTV? Or does it say not region or whatever. I can't watch American shows online cause of the region thing. I'm not sure if its the same for US watching Canadian websites.

CTV does have it but its comes on the website a day later

  3. Yeah, we have the same restrictions here. In the case of CBC it says it is restricted, while CTV just says there is an error.

What's frustrating is that there is literally only a river between me and Canada right now and I have a passport. ha

  4. If you'd like to "acquire" a video file of the premiere you can type "Saving.Hope.S02E01.HDTV.x264-2HD" or "Saving.Hope.S02E01.720p.HDTV.x264-2HD" (for high def) into Google to locate a website that offers such things. :)
