    Castle is 100% right in this case –– it's not about considering the offer. It's not about considering THEM, and TELLING him about the offer. She flat out LIED about what was spoken about the last episode –– and then flies down for the entire without telling him.


    Because it would upset him?...And, um, doing it this way wouldn't?

    REALLY, Kate?

    Making up him PART of the decision, and working it through WITH him, (the man that has risked life and limb for you, nearly being BLOWN UP for you, who LOVES you) would have been the right call.

    I don't blame Castle one bit for being upset,Beckett was wrong not telling him..bad move on her part. And their she goes again 'this is my life' yep,it might be but you left out a very important person that you have to consider.But she never does when it comes to "its her life'.

    Even if she doesn't get the job,she has a lot of thinking to do where Castle and want she wants is concerned..

    I new this was coming so I forced myself to stay awake, so glad I did. I was quite intrigued by this scene from the promo.


    i fully understand why Castle is pissed off, I would be too and he is scared to lose her, but I also think its fear on Beckett's side that allowed her to keep this a secret from Castle. I think she should have told him rather than him find out by accident. I wonder when she would have told him, after she got the job or not at all if she didn't?


    I know a lot of fans are worried about the status of the relationship coming out of the finale but I'm not worried, I'm 100% convinced there are bits I may find sad but in the end it will make them stronger and give us great stories going into the new season. they are each others forever.. The emotionally charged scenes whether happy, sad or angry between them are always some of my favourites to watch and this will be not different.

    I think she needs to finally realize that he is her one and done and what she does affects him too. I think the fact that she has been questioning where they are going has somewhat led her to the 'it's my life' comment

    Sometimes I wish Castle would just break up with Beckett so that she would open her eyes and realise what she has been doing wrong, like what happened on the season 4 finale before they got together. I don't understand why everything has to be as Beckett wants, all the time. If they both want to be in a relationship they both need to be committed in making it work together, not run away in the first opportunity they get. They both have to be in equal parts in their relationship. 50-50. Not 80-20 nor 60-40, not even 51-49. They need to talk. Keeping things from each other won't do any of them any good, and it can kill their relationship. Beckett, I'm getting really tired of you lately.

    One, the show has been renewed. It's not official yet. Two, let the Beckett bashing begin--tired of it already. Three, I feel like I'm in a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. There's a reason why I decided to pull back from the fandom this afternoon until long after the finale. . I'm tired of the "if they break them up, I'll never watch again" crap.

    Yes Castle is completely right to be mad. Kate is at fault here. But i trust her enough to make this right. If anything this sneak peek has strengthened my belief that Kate will not take the job.

    So Perfect. Everyone always says Castle needs to grow up but right now Beckett certainly needs to think about him. He has gone thru someone leaving him (Kari --who Kate knows about) and Meredith (who Kate doesn't know the whole story only Meredith's side) but she has also gone thru someone leaving in Will so I don't get why she doesn't remember how she felt when Will left. Should be a great eps and with an "S" rating (Castle and Beckett I hope) things should will work out.

    Yes she does, and it's very hypocritical of her because she got so angry at him when he what taking her for granted as well. Then she wants him to change but goes and does the same thing he was doing. How is that fair? The answer, it isn't fair. Except in her mind and in the mind of all the fans who watch the show only from one perspective, Beckett's perspective, and who think she is right about everything all the time and who treat Castle as nothing more than prop or a puppet or a sex toy for her to play with. There's always two sides to a story, two perspectives to be taken into consideration. She was my favorite TV character and it's very sad but I can barely stand her since some episodes ago.

    She omit all the detail,what she spect ..Confetty & a parade... For sure he is upset... This guy is in love with her, fallow her like a puppy & was willing to be blown out with her & she still don't gave a clue ... For sure she left him out, she really have a lot of work to do to repair this situation.. This is full gear "watershed" ... She is looking for trouble ("he the playboy/womanizer/ book party") can go bact to that... Now I really want Monday to arrive soon, because the Clifthanger plunge is tenting all the way.

Why would she put someone she supposedly loves (I'm saying supposedly because even though she has said it if she really meant it she wouldn't be doing what she's doing) in the same situation she once was?

    Beckett's got serious baggage, but we all know that. She's independent and chooses her career over her relationship? Uh maybe a bad call, but in a series were the leads are involved it's brilliant, because lots and lots more opportunities to prove their love and have great make-up sex.

    So glad Castle got made at her. She had it coming. She's being a little bit of a hypocrite here - not to long ago, she demanded to know about the whole Jordan thing and now she's hiding things from him? Not cool, Beckett.


    If there is a break up, I hope it's Castle that does the breaking up and Kate does the grovelling.

    I completely agree with Castle. I can't believe Beckett said it was not about him, and that it was about her and her life. Yes, it's her life but she didn't even think about how it would affect Castle. That really bothers me :/

    No matter how you look at it, Kate is and did everything wrong! And honestly, I don´t see how she can find a way to make it right...she lied to him and by saying "it´s my life" excluded him from it! When was she going to tell him, the day before leaving? Frankly, Castle is totally right and I would like to see him breaking up with her even if she stays, because the point is not the job offer, it´s the lie!
    On, and the "S" rating? I´m pretty sure it´ll be either about the week case ot the language, so don´t expect much from it:)

    Beckett's point is moot! In S1 she said that she broke up with Sorensen (whas that the name?) because he accepted a job in another city (I think it was Chicago) and now she's trying to do the same thing scot-free?

    I think they are both grown up but in very different ways, its now time for them to get on the same page. He has grown up and understands life is not all about the fun anymore, but he can still be a bit sulky. She has always been more grown up and serious, but for her now its time to stop living life on her own, but get used to having someone there depending on her and let go of her stubborn independence.
    I think season 6 and hopefully 7 will keep showing them making mistakes but learning from them and learning more about each other. I think they are still at a point that they know they love it each other but dont really know each other enough to make a final commitment. This is just the start of a great love story.

    How is she going to repair the relationship after this? Kate's character
    is been put in a lost/lost situation, I am looking at the characters and
    the way they have been written, I think the writer (AM) is favoring the
    male character and putting "Kate" in a vulnerable position, Castle
    looks good, he is hurt and betrayed and Kate looks weak, dumb and
    selfish. My take on this sneak preview is: Women are strong, efficient
    and exceptional decision makers in the job but in "our personal life we
    are a failure". Perception is everything!!

    On the one hand, Castle is right. But on another, she did give him an out in the relationship based on previous episodes. I rather see Kate, as unpopular as I say it, go to DC and take the job if offered. She didn't tell him, because she wanted to protect him. There is always an inside deal. Maybe because she feels that him working with her at the precinct is getting a bit dangerous.
