Game of Thrones - Season 2 - Nonso Anozie (Xaro Xhoan Daxos) Interview

ComingSoon.net got a chance to talk to British actor Nonso Anozie at the premiere for The Grey about playing Xaro Xhoan Daxos in the second season of HBO's "Game of Thrones."

"Season 2 is bigger," Anozie told us. "It goes deeper into the politics of what is going on and there is also a lot of action. There is a whole episode devoted to a war, that's going to be a big. There is whole episode devoted to a huge... I can't say anymore!"

He also talked more about his character . "[He's] the prince of Qarth, and Daenerys runs into him and he's like, 'Hey...hey, how you doing?' and things, well, you'll see. It's pretty damn good. For me, when you work on a job, you're like, 'Great, I got the job,' then you get to the set and it's like, whoa, look at this set. Normally, you're at a point where it's just a job, okay. But with 'Game of Thrones,' it just exceeded all expectations. Everyone's on top of their game. Just amazing."

  1. It seems to be the one consistent comment every new cast member makes.... "Wow this is such a huge production!" XD

Three months away sounds so close, but feels so far away!

  3. I found Xaro quite interesting in the books, he's got a lot of layers beneath that friendly prince of Qarth appearance. Looking forward to see him bright to the screen!
