Colony - 2.06 Fallout - Advanced Preview

The sixth episode of second season opens in a way that is again reminiscent to World War II, continues to open the scope of the series, and offers a mystery that isn't solved till the end of the episode.

Continuing to catch up with the resistance, Broussard (Tory Kittles) remains above ground, while the younger members find themselves with a horrible dilemma, as BB (Victor Rasuk) becomes very very ill and where Simon (Charlie Bewley) gets cagey. Morgan (Bethany Joy Lenz) then decides she has to take matters in to her own hands, knowing they can't take BB to a hospital.

After not making progress with the flash drive, Will (Josh Holloway) goes work to see what he can do, which results in a transfer of another employee thanks to observations made by Burke (Toby Huss), until Katie (Sarah Wayne Collins) calls him with an emergency, that leads them to abducting a man they know from the Greenzone.

In the meantime, Maddie (Amanda Reghetti) and Nolan (Adrian Pasdar) make an unexpected trip to the Labor Camp. Nolan doesn't know what's in the special shipment and tries to talk Snyder (Peter Jacobson) into revealing what's in the crates!!--And although it may seem that Nolan has his thumb over Snyder, Snyder still has cards up his sleeve and flexes his political power at the end of the episode. Maddie then wants to see Bram (Alex Neustaedter), but their meeting doesn't go very well. Maddie tries to plead with Nolan, but he reminds Maddie that they can't jeopardize the life they're building together.

The episode tries to juggle a lot of things--and with a lot of table-dancing, giving the feeling of instability, but also gives some more intriguing and perhaps deadly insights into the alien technology. However the jury is still out on the fate of Jennifer, but there is still one thing that happens with another character that gives me hope that viewers may still see her again. The episode also ends up being a rather emotional one and it's only real setback might be how the show continues to handle Maddie's story.
