Although Jason’s return to Rosewood had been discussed by Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King in the past, EW can exclusively reveal that Freeform has now made it official: Drew Van Acker will reprise his role as Jason DiLaurentis in the seventh episode of season 7.
Jason is just the latest character added to the list of returns for what King is calling the “season of homecomings.” Also returning? Jenna and Noel.
And although there’s no word yet on how long Jason will stick around, King previously told EW, “There’s going to be a very awkward family dinner with his aunt and his sister.” So that’s something to look forward to.
