Hi folks,
As many of the long time fans of SpoilerTV may have noticed, I've had to pass the reins of the current Favourite TV Series competition to Bradley (whose knocking it out of the park, as expected)
One of the many reasons why I haven't had the time to organise the competition this year is I've been working on a TV Series Pilot with some friends of mine. We had a full thirty minute pilot almost complete, but we have also created a five minute short which we entered into the Raindance Film Festival's Web Series Pilot competition. We have been shortlisted for the competition, and so rather ironically, I need your votes!
To explain the show, here is our pitch for the short, as well as the series concept.
Web Pilot synopsis: Chris Richardson absolutely loves his job as an Usher. He constantly tries to create the best ‘cinema experience’ he can for every customer that walks through the door. Unfortunately for him though, his fellow Ushers don’t quite share the same work ethic.
Web Series Concept: a multi camera "documentary" following the daily trials and tribulations of life as a cinema usher. Commencing with the first shift of new cinema employee TK Winfield we discover whether the lives of the people working behind the big screen are any different from the stars on them.
In many ways it's similar to The Office or shows like that...
I have written the pilot, am producing the show and have a supporting role in it as well. I'm sadly not seen on screen in the five minute short, but my role as the "villainous" boss of the cinema will be in the actual pilot which when it is launched you'll all get to see.
