When a swim coach is found dead inside an abandoned well, the team investigates his secret past, leading them to a world of drag queens. Also, new “squintern” Jessica Weaver (guest star Laura Spencer) catches Sweets’ (John Francis Daley) attention.



THE FOLLOWING (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Forgive” – Season Finale

In the shocking second season finale, Mark (Sam Underwood) and Luke (Sam Underwood) turn the tables on both Ryan (Kevin Bacon) and Joe (James Purefoy), forcing the two sworn enemies to come together to save the woman they love.

Set and shot in London, the suspenseful event series once again will follow the exploits of heroic Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), as he attempts to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever. Retaining the real-time, nail-biting, fast-paced format with split screens and interweaving storylines, the highly-anticipated series also stars Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane reprising their original roles. Newcomers to the series include Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Tate Donovan, Giles Matthey, Gbenga Akinnagbe and Michael Wincott.



Monday, May 12

BONES (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “The Recluse in the Recliner” – Season Finale

In the Season Nine finale, directed by series star David Boreanaz, the team investigates the death of a man who had offered Booth (Boreanaz) information on a possible government cover-up related to a previous case, but was killed before their meeting took place. As Booth and the Jeffersonian team dig deeper into the burgeoning conspiracy surrounding the man’s death, it’s evident Booth may be in over his head, and his future with the FBI is put in question.



24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “1:00 PM-2:00 PM” – Time Period Premiere

Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski) continues her hunt for Jack, as President Heller (William Devane) prepares to address Parliament after a devastating attack. Margot Al-Harazi (guest star Michelle Fairley) proves she is willing to sacrifice anything for revenge.



Monday, May 19

MASTERCHEF (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “Top 30 Compete” – Season Premiere

MASTERCHEF returns for an exciting fifth season, giving talented home cooks from all walks of life the chance to showcase their skills, knowledge and passion in front of the show’s esteemed judging panel: Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot. In the premiere episode, after a nationwide search, 30 of the best home cooks in America present their signature dish to the judges, but only the Top Finalists will earn a coveted white apron and compete for a chance to win the MASTERCHEF title, a cookbook deal and the $250,000 grand prize.

The terror threat escalates as Jack heads for the U.S. Embassy with the CIA closing in on him. Meanwhile, Margot asserts her authority with unthinkable force; President Heller makes an impassioned speech to Parliament; and Kate takes matters into her own hands.

Rachel (Lea Michele) jeopardizes her leading role in “Funny Girl” when she auditions for a television pilot. Meanwhile, Mercedes (guest star Amber Riley) tries to help get Santana (Naya Rivera) in on her recording deal, and Blaine (Darren Criss) befriends rich socialite June Dolloway (guest star Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine).



NEW GIRL (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) – “Dance”

Jess (Zooey Deschanel) fears someone is trying to sabotage her first middle school dance, so she enlists the gang to help her chaperone on the big night. Angela Kinsey (“The Office”) guest-stars.



THE MINDY PROJECT (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “The Girl Next Door”

Danny (Chris Messina) offers Mindy (Mindy Kaling) the opportunity to buy the other condo he owns in his building, but gets jealous when she dates a police detective (guest star Tim Daly). Meanwhile, Peter (Adam Pally) dates a brain surgeon (guest star Tracey Wigfield) whom he fears may be too mature for him.



Tuesday, May 6

GLEE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “Old Dog New Tricks”

In an episode written by series star Chris Colfer, Rachel attempts to salvage her reputation among Broadway gossipers, by hiring Santana as her publicist and creating a charity for rescue animals. Meanwhile, Kurt (Colfer) nabs the lead role in a retirement home production of “Peter Pan.”



NEW GIRL (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) – “Cruise” – Season Finale

In the Season Three finale, Jess and Nick (Jake Johnson) invite the gang along with them on a cruise they booked while still together as a couple. Kerri Kenney (“Reno 911”) and Oscar Nunez (“The Office”) guest-star.



THE MINDY PROJECT (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Danny and Mindy” – Season Finale

In the Season Two finale, Mindy thinks she has met the man of her dreams after he writes a description of their encounter in a New York newspaper, leading to a surprising reveal.

GLEE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project” – Season Finale

In the Season Five finale, Rachel meets a famous television writer (guest star Kristen Schaal), whose eccentric personality catches Rachel off guard. Meanwhile, Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Mercedes deal with the pressure of commitment as their careers take off, and the time has finally come for Blaine’s big showcase with June Dolloway (guest star Shirley MacLaine) at NYADA.



RIOT (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Steve Carell and Andy Buckley”– Series Premiere

From executive producer Steve Carell and Shine America, and hosted by Australian comedian and talk show host Rove McManus, this new series features the nation’s funniest celebrities and comedians facing unpredictable song, dance and sketch challenges, often while navigating the show’s trademark one-of-a-kind set, tilted at a 22 degree angle. The series premiere features Carell and Andy Buckley (“The Office”).

The two finalists take the stage to battle it out on the last performance show of the season at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.



RIOT (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Jason Alexander and Cheryl Hines”

The nation’s funniest celebrities and comedians face unpredictable song, dance and sketch challenges, often while navigating the show’s trademark one-of-a-kind set, tilted at a 22 degree angle. The most anticipated night of the television season is finally here! On the second part of the two-night season finale, the Top 13 reunite on the stage one last time before host Ryan Seacrest reveals the newest American Idol.

Thursday, April 24

HELL’S KITCHEN (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “14 Chefs Compete”

The remaining contestants must create a unique pizza dish to present to Chef Ramsay and VIP guest judge Chef Wolfgang Puck. The judges will determine which team will go on a relaxing day trip to a luxurious hotel and which team will stay behind to clean up and prepare for dinner service. Later, pressure mounts during Family Night dinner service, as the contestants must impress not only the regulars, but Chef Ramsay’s family, as well.



AMERICAN IDOL XIII (9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) – “1 of 6 Voted Off”

As the countdown to the Grand Finale begins, another finalist is eliminated from the competition.



SURVIVING JACK (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Something To Talk About”

Frankie (Connor Buckley) has poor timing when he introduces Heather (guest star Lili Reinhart) to Joanne (Rachael Harris), who is on pain medication, post-surgery. Meanwhile, George (Kevin Hernandez) and Mikey (Tyler Foden) try to retrieve a porn video they disguised in a “Casablanca” VHS case at the Dunlevy house.



Thursday, May 1

HELL’S KITCHEN (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “13 Chefs Compete”

Chef Ramsay announces that HELL’S KITCHEN will be hosting a 160th anniversary party for the Phi Mu sorority, so the Red and Blue teams are tasked to prepare a southern-inspired menu for the sorority’s social committee. The team with the most impressive dishes earns an elaborate trip to Las Vegas, while the losing team stays behind to transform the restaurant for the party. Later, Chef Ramsay puts the pressure on the chefs to execute a flawless dinner service, but each of the teams struggles to communicate with each other, delaying the dinner service.



AMERICAN IDOL XIII (9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) – “1 of 5 Voted Off”

In another nail-biting LIVE results show, the finalist who receives the fewest votes will be eliminated from the race for the title.



SURVIVING JACK (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “She Drives Me Crazy”

In an effort to have Rachel (Claudia Lee) more engaged in school and take her future seriously, Jack (Christopher Meloni) gets her a spot on the wrestling team, much to the chagrin of the wrestling coach (guest star Neil Flynn, “The Middle”). Also, Joanne realizes that Frankie is now too embarrassed to be seen with her during their annual mother-son trip.



Thursday, May 8

HELL’S KITCHEN (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “12 Chefs Compete”

In the ultimate adaptability challenge, the remaining contestants are given 30 minutes to shine and create entrées made up of the surprise ingredients hidden under four domes. Chef Ramsay and VIP guest judge Chef Michael Cimarusti will determine which team will go down the coast for a scenic lunch and volleyball lesson with Kerri Walsh Jennings and which team will stay behind to do all the chores for the servers at HELL’S KITCHEN. Later, tensions rise as Chef Ramsay announces it is time for one-on-one performance evaluations, and then he decides to do something never done before in the history of HELL’S KITCHEN.



AMERICAN IDOL XIII (9:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) – “1 of 4 Voted Off”

The tension mounts, as another finalist is sent home in an all-new LIVE results show.



SURVIVING JACK (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Parents Just Don’t Understand”—Season Finale

Jack and Joanne are at odds with each other when both kids betray their trust – Frankie has his first taste of alcohol at a varsity baseball party, and Rachel wants to go on birth control.



Thursday, May 15

HELL’S KITCHEN (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “11 Chefs Compete”

In the continuation of an emotional elimination round, Chef Ramsay takes the remaining contestants on a surprise field trip to a local gastropub. Later, during dinner service, the two teams must prepare meals inspired by Chef Ramsay’s cuisine. While one team rules the kitchen, the other struggles with communication, resulting in yet another dramatic elimination.

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Mangia Mangia, Part 1/Mangia Mangia, Part 2”

Chef Ramsay heads to Woodland Park, CO, where he is tasked with saving Mangia Mangia, an Italian joint with an identity crisis. But the atmosphere, food and service prove to be the least of its problems, as tensions flare and the morale among owner Julie and her staff is at an all-time low.



Friday, May 2

KITCHEN NIGHTMARES (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Zayna Flaming Grill, Part 1/Zayna Flaming Grill, Part 2”

Chef Ramsay travels to Redondo Beach, CA, to visit Zayna Flaming Grill, a Mediterranean restaurant owned and operated by aunt-and-niece duo Faye and Brenda. Faye believes she has the weight of the entire restaurant on her shoulders, while Brenda does not feel she is treated as an equal in the partnership. With tensions rising, the food not up to standards and everyone playing the blame game, Chef Ramsay is faced with one of the stickiest situations he’s ever encountered.

When Stan is fired from the CIA in a round of budget cuts, the only job he’s able to land is at the local grocery store, where Steve (Scott Grimes) is the manager. Meanwhile, Roger bets an annoying coffee shop musician (guest voice Robin Thicke) that he can out-play him and enters into a Faustian bargain with a guitar-instructing infomercial host (guest voice Stanley Tucci). Alan Thicke also guest-voices as himself.



THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) – “Brick Like Me” – Milestone 550th Episode

In the milestone 550th episode, Homer (Dan Castellaneta) finds himself in a world where Marge (Julie Kavner), Bart, Lisa (Yeardley Smith), Maggie and the rest of Springfield’s residents are made of LEGO bricks, and he must figure out a way home before he’s stuck in the world of bricks forever.



FAMILY GUY (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “Meg Stinks!”

Meg (Mila Kunis) has fun partying with Peter when he takes her to a college for an interview. Meanwhile, Brian (Seth MacFarlane) must learn how to live in the wild when he gets sprayed by a skunk and is prohibited from entering the house.



COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT) – “The Lost Worlds of Planet Earth”

The Ship of the Imagination embarks on a journey through space and time to grasp how the autobiography of the earth is written in its atoms, its oceans, its continents and all living things. Later, American geologist Marie Tharp (guest voice Amanda Seyfried) creates the first true map of Earth’s ocean floor, and discovers microscopic life that exists deep beneath the ocean.

BOB’S BURGERS (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) – “Wharf Horse” (or How Bob Saves/Destroys the Town – Part I)

Motivated by the promise of a new beachside burger joint, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) conspires with Felix (guest voice Zach Galifianakis) to convince Mr. Fischoeder (guest voice Kevin Kline) to sell Wonder Wharf. Meanwhile, Tina protests the destruction of the wharf’s carousel by chaining herself to it.



AMERICAN DAD (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) – “News Glances With Genevieve Vavance”

Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane) starts an internship at a local news station working for a Nancy Grace-type reporter, who happens to be Roger in disguise. T.J. Miller, Nat Faxon and Josh Groban guest-voice.

COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT) – “The Electric Boy”

Travel to 19th century England and meet Michael Faraday, a child of poverty who grew up to invent the motor and the generator. His ideas about electricity and discovery of magnetic fields changed the world and paved the way for future scientists to make giant strides in the world of high technology and instantaneous communication.

BOB’S BURGERS (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) – “World Wharf II: The Wharfening” (or How Bob Saves/Destroys the Town – Part II) – Season Finale

It’s Linda and the kids to the rescue when Felix (guest voice Galifianakis) takes desperate measures, and puts Bob and Mr. Fischoeder in danger. Gary Cole (“Veep”), Jordan Peele (“Key and Peele”), Paul F. Tompkins (“Comedy Bang! Bang!”) and Jenny Slate guest-voice.



AMERICAN DAD (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT) – “The Longest Distance Relationship” – Season Finale

Hayley, still heartbroken over Jeff’s (guest star Jeff Fischer) abduction, meets millionaire Matt Davis (Dee Bradley Baker), who begins to help her move forward, until Steve and Snot (guest voice Curtis Armstrong) discover that Jeff’s alive and trying to make it back to her. Comedian Sinbad guest-voices as himself.



THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) – “The Yellow Badge of Cowardge” – Season Finale

Bart is plagued with guilt when he wins the annual “last day of school” race around Springfield Elementary, with an assist from Nelson (Nancy Cartwright), who beats up frontrunner Milhouse (guest voice Pamela Hayden). Meanwhile, Homer tries to bring back the annual 4th of July fireworks display after it’s canceled for budget reasons. Glenn Close returns as Mona Simpson and Olympian Edwin Moses guest-voices as himself.



FAMILY GUY (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “Chap Stewie” – Season Finale

When Peter and Chris interrupt Stewie’s (Seth MacFarlane) TV time, the angry baby goes back in time to break up Peter and Lois so he’s never conceived, but is shocked when he is reborn into a “Downton Abbey”-esque British household.



COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY (9:00-10:00PM ET/PT) – “The Immortals”

The Ship of the Imagination travels across the cosmos to discover the possibility of some beings that live forever and explain why other civilizations perish. Then, visit the Cosmic Calendar of the Future and contemplate what lies ahead with a hopeful vision.
