Thanks to Kat for the heads up.
Little-known actress Karen Gillan has been unveiled as the next assistant in Doctor Who. The 21-year-old will star alongside new Time Lord Matt Smith in the new series, to be broadcast next year.
Gillan has already appeared in the drama, having played a Soothsayer in The Fires Of Pompeii in the last run.
"I am absolutely over the moon at being chosen to play the Doctor's new companion. - I just can't wait to get started," she said. "The show is such a massive phenomenon that I can't quite believe I am going to be a part of it. Matt Smith is an incredible actor and it is going to be so much fun to act alongside him," she added.
Head of Drama, BBC Wales, Piers Wenger said she brings "energy and excitement" to the role.
"When she auditioned alongside Matt we knew we had something special," he said.
Writer and executive producer Steven Moffat said they saw some "amazing actresses" but Gillan "walked through the door the game was up". He described her as "funny, and clever, and gorgeous, and sexy. Or Scottish, which is the quick way of saying it".
"A generation of little girls will want to be her. And a generation of little boys will want them to be her too," he added.
Gillan, from Inverness, developed a love for acting after attending several youth theatre groups and taking part in various school productions. At the age of 16, she decided to pursue her career further and left school to study acting at Edinburgh's Telford College. She went on to secure a place at the Italia Conti drama school in London and landed her first role in the Scottish drama Rebus. Parts in Channel 4's Stacked, The Kevin Bishop Show and James Nesbitt's forthcoming film Outcast followed, but the role in Doctor Who is her first high profile to date.

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes is nipping in the bud talk that the role of George — who last was seen barely alive after being mauled, mangled and mashed in a bus accident — will be recast with a new actor.
"A hilarious, ridiculous rumor" is how Rhimes, via Twitter, qualified the speculation.
Getting someone new to play a surgically made-over George would conveniently pave the way for T.R. Knight to vacate the role and exit the ABC serial, as has been rumored for many, many months. The increasingly dusty buzz has been that Knight's disenchantment with his Season 5 storylines begat his conspicuously decreased screen time... which, in turn, is said to have disenchanted Knight even further.
Now, E! Online is reporting that Knight just this week negotiated his departure from Grey's — a neat trick, seeing as he's still on contract through Season 6, if needed. "That story is utterly false," one well-placed source tells TVGuide.com. "Nothing at all has changed in T.R.'s status." A second industry insider deems the aforementioned blog posting as "total B.S."
Rhimes herself recently told EW.com, "There have been lots of rumors about T.R., but T.R.'s never said anything. Take from it what you will."
ABC entertainment boss Stephen McPherson also has weighed in on the uncertain future of Knight's character, as well as Katherine Heigl's ailing Izzie.
"They've both signed on [for next season]," he told reporters at ABC's upfront. "I can't say whether or not they'll both be there."
Reps for ABC and Knight declined to comment for this story.
Source: TV Guide
Dr. George O'Malley is dead.
Multiple sources tell me that T.R. Knight will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy next season.
Knight's departure shouldn't come as too much of a shock...
Not only was George flatlining at the end of the season finale earlier this month, but the 36-year-old actor has reportedly wanted off the hit ABC series for quite some time.
I'm told that tension between Knight and show creator Shonda Rhimes has become unbearable for both.
"He hates her, and she hates him," one source said.
Knight, an original member of the Grey's cast, was said to have become increasingly frustrated by his character's lack of storyline and camera face time. In December, he asked to be let out of his contract.
Insiders tell me Knight has made no secret about George's demise. No word on any future projects for Knight, but at least now he's free to pursue other things.
Reps for Knight and ABC declined to comment.
Knight's best buddy Katherine Heigl is supposedly still waiting to learn her fate with Seattle Grace. As I was the first to report last July, Rhimes began contemplating an early death for Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens after Heigl took herself out of the running for last year's Emmys because, she complained, the writers failed to give her good enough material to work with.
Like George, Izzie was also flatlining at the end of the season finale.

"They've both signed on. I can't say whether or not they'll both be there." —ABC president Steve McPherson addressing the future of Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight on Grey's Anatomy
Question: OMG. Grey's finale. George or Izzie? What's the deal? --Olive
Ausiello: My guess? One will live, another will die. Although I have to say I'm intrigued by this theory from an Aushole named Keven: "T.R. Knight is leaving the show, but George is staying. What with being grossly disfigured in the finale, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to let George live and then, a few weeks later, Mark Sloan works his plastic surgery magic and, voila, a new George!"

In the world of NCIS, romance is usually something that’s meant to be faked while undercover. So is anyone completely surprised that Season 6 ended with Tony and Ziva—better known to some fans as Tiva—half a world away from each other, nursing separately inflicted wounds, rather than nuzzling nose-to-nose?
Executive producer Shane Brennan spoke with TV Guide on the eve of the final episode, and he can confirm that both Tony and Ziva will survive to live and bicker another day in Season 7. But first, a brief recap of where Season 6 left us:
Tony and Ziva’s parting? Not such sweet sorrow. In the season’s penultimate episode, a highly suspicious Tony visited Ziva’s apartment and encountered her Israeli assassin/boyfriend, Rivkin. Coffee tables were shattered, glass shards and pistols were pulled, and Ziva walked in just in time to perform unsuccessful CPR on her critically injured BF. This week, Gibbs, Tony and Ziva all begrudgingly took off for a courtesy call to Tel Aviv, where Ziva literally kicked Tony while he was down. When it came time to fly back to the Beltway, Ziva abruptly announced that she couldn’t work with Tony any more… and Gibbs said, in effect: Have a nice life, and feel free to air-mail your final expense report. This was so not the makeout scene “shippers” had been hoping for.
But, of course, Ziva will be back—albeit bruised, battered, and worse for the wear, now that she’s learning that putting up with Tony the Friendly Boyfriend Slayer at home assuredly beats being tortured by unknown baddies in the Middle East. But we’ll pick up with Shane Brennan summarizing that final cliffhanger, for anyone who missed it:
Shane Brennan: Tony looked at Gibbs and said, “I guess she’ll call when she’s ready,” and then flipped his phone closed. When he flips his phone closed, we hear the clank of a door being slammed, and we see a Middle Eastern guy who’s in a sort of quasi-military uniform walking down a corridor very casually. He goes into a locked room, reaches across to someone sitting on a chair, and it’s Ziva. And he pulls off her Star of David from around her neck, grabs her by the hair and says, “Tell me everything about NCIS.” And she’s had the crap beaten out of her. So where we’re left is realizing that Tony’s not gonna go looking for her, after saying “She’ll call when she’s ready” and Gibbs saying “Give her time,” because at that point, Ziva’s not close to a phone. So that’s where we’ll pick it up at the beginning of next season.
TV Guide Magazine: And for now, we don’t know who’s got Ziva?
No. We know that she’s gone off to finish the work that Rivkin started, which was to locate this training camp in North Africa. We saw her on the ship with her Israeli comrades, and then we see her captured at the very end. So we know that that mission didn’t end well for her. Now, the mission itself may have succeeded, we don’t know any of that. What I can promise about the beginning of next season: We leave Ziva locked up in that room being interrogated, but the audience’s expectation of what they think they’re gonna see next will be totally turned on its head in the first few minutes of the first episode next season. It’ll be a shock to them. I can guarantee they will go, what just happened? It’s very surprising—it’s a great opening episode next season.
Is the “Tiva” relationship played out for a while? Will there be an aftermath to look forward on that?
Oh, there’s a middle-math as well as an aftermath! There’s clearly unfinished business between Tony and Ziva, and we’ll play it out at the beginning of next season.
That was quite a cold shoulder Gibbs gave Ziva upon their rather abrupt farewell in Israel.
You can safely say she’s upset that she is left on the tarmac. She’s upset that she’s not going back with them. But there’s a divided loyalty here. And as her father says, “You’re loyal to me, finish Michael’s business—finish what he started.” And she put the question to Gibbs about Tony, and it was Gibbs who was forced to make a choice. When I talked to you earlier in the season about Gibbs having to make a choice that would send shock waves, the choice he had to make was to leave her behind. She forced him to choose, and he chose Michael—or Tony.
Tough love, for Gibbs? Surely he’s not quite that disgusted with Ziva.
Yeah, it’s tough love, and it’s something that when he gets back there and he’s talking with Ducky in the basement, you get that sense of, have I done the right thing here? It’s a rare moment where Gibbs is torn. “She forced me to make a decision, because she gave me an ultimatum.” He doesn’t like the decision that he had to make. There’s hope for Gibbs that this is going to somehow be resolved. When he goes to Vance’s office and says “I’ll let you know in a few months about who we’re going to replace her with,” he’s hoping that she’s gonna come back to him and say, "You know what, I screwed up, I made a bad decision—take me back." That’s what’s in his heart.

This interview was posted/taken before the series finale aired last week.
TVGuide.com: You're such a trouper. You just had a kid, and yet here you are out promoting the season finale.
Chyler Leigh: Hey, I love what I do so...
TVGuide.com: How was this pregnancy versus your previous ones?
Leigh: Oh, it was wonderful. It was my third baby, so I knew more about what was to be expected and listening to my body and whatnot. Yet while it was easier in a lot of ways, this was the first time where I worked throughout the entire pregnancy. And it will be the last time! But everybody was so cool on the set, bringing me stools to sit on, and bringing me water....
TVGuide.com: Does a part of you wish Grey's had written it into your storyline?
Leigh: You know, at first I was like, "That'd be a really great thing," but looking back, I'm glad they didn't. It would have been way too much too soon [for Lexie and Mark].
TVGuide.com: Did you enjoy the episode where they had Lexie binge-eating?
Leigh: Oh god. [Laughs] When that first came up, I was like, "OK, I get it." But I swear I gained an extra three pounds in that episode.
TVGuide.com: Meredith had that funny line about anxious Lexie's butt getting "huge."
Leigh: Yeah, a big, fat ass. I was like, "That's sweet. Thanks, guys."
TVGuide.com: The last time we spoke, you lamented the fact that Mer hadn't yet warmed up to her half-sister. You must be happy they have since reached a détente.
Leigh: Yeah, I'm really glad that they developed that more. I'm such a fan of the show anyway, but when she asked Lexie to be a bridesmaid, that was such a huge thing in their relationship. From Lexie's perspective, to be a part of something that big really took their relationship to the next level.
TVGuide.com: What's going on with Meredith's wedding anyway?
Leigh: They're still planning on getting married; it's just a matter of when and how.
TVGuide.com: I must tell you that about half the mail our Mega Buzz column gets is about Lexie and Mark. Why do you think they have struck such a chord?
Leigh: I think it was just so unexpected. For me personally, when I found out about the storyline, I was like, "What? I don't get it." But you're now seeing these two characters individually grow. There's only so much of the "manwhore" story you can do, as far as Mark goes, and keep it interesting.
TVGuide.com: Yeah, Eric Dane must have welcomed this story as well.
Leigh: It's far more interesting when you see somebody accepting change, and being proactive about it. Because the relationship between them is so new and unexpected, it raises the maturity level in both of them.
TVGuide.com: So what's next for them? What's the next big step after his meeting Papa Grey?
Leigh: Well... that comes up in the finale. I can't tell you what it is specifically, but it does definitely throw Lexie off, when Mark wants to take it to the next level. She's got all of her ducks in a row as far as what she wants for her career. Now, to have fallen into a relationship that she wasn't expecting, throws some of those plans off. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.
TVGuide.com: For all those Mark-Lexie fans, will the season end for them on a high note or a low one?
Leigh: Oh, it'll end on a high note. It is definitely good.
TVGuide.com: Last week when Lexie was helping George with the traumas, I literally had to remind myself that those two were on the cusp of romance last fall. Were you disappointed that story got dropped?
Leigh: At first I was. I was like, "Wait a minute? What happened?" I think, though, that the reality was that George was the first person who cared about her, in any way, and gave her any sort of positive affirmation or welcome to the hospital. He was the first smiling face that she saw, and there was an infatuation factor in that — "I want to keep that around; I need that from somebody." But the depth to it wasn't as genuine as what we're seeing with Mark.
TVGuide.com: There are rumors that the season finale features a big — perhaps tragic — development for George. Is it possible that you've had your last scene with T.R. Knight?
Leigh: Not that I know of. Not that I know of. I know nothing, and it's still too early to say; we literally just wrapped [production]. I haven't been told anything, and I'm not even sure T.R. knows, or even what's going on with [regards to] Katie [Heigl] and all that stuff, I don't know if anybody knows what's going to happen.
TVGuide.com: So, as far as you know, you expect to see the same ol' gang on the set next season?
Leigh: As far as I know!

The title Glee doesn't even begin to describe the joy you'll get from watching Fox's newest show. From Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy comes a one-hour comedy with all the properties to make you Glee-ful.
We recently hit the set to get you the lowdown on your soon-to-be favorite high school glee club members. Once you meet the kids of Glee in the clip above, head down below to get a glimpse of the adults, who have just as much drama as the students.
"I'm excited for the audience to see the pilot, but then they have to wait so much longer to see more episodes," says Matthew Morrison, who plays glee club teacher Will Schuester. Unfortunately, Tuesday night only brings one hour of the new Fox series, but there is much to look forward to this fall.
Guest Stars Galore: Glee is bringing in the heavy hitters like Kristin Chenoweth, who plays an alcoholic high school dropout; Josh Groban guests as himself, who Chris Colfer says "played himself as this ignorant asshole"; and Debra Monk and Victor Garber play Will Schuester's parents.
Many Love Triangles: As seen in the clip above, we know there's a love triangle between Rachel, Quinn and Finn, but the real action is with Will, Emma (Jayma Mays) and Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig). Jessalyn, who plays Will's wife, teases, "That woman is trying to steal my man. I'm going to fight to the death." When it comes to being an adult in a high school love triangle, Matthew jokes, "I dig it." However, there may be trouble in paradise since Emma is a serious germaphobe. Says Jayma, "She's mysophobic, which is a phobia of dirt and germs, but when it comes to Will, she'd get dirty with him." Just to be clear, the love triangle is actually a love quadrangle with the football coach, Ken Tanaka (Patrick Gallagher), who dons workout gear that should've died in the 80s. "What's wrong with a full-grown man wearing tiny shorts and knee-high socks?" says Patrick.
High School Bullies: Love's not the only drama the adults have to deal with. They're in cliques just as much as the students are, with Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) being the top dog of the school. Jane jokes, "I'm fresh out of high school, so I feel like I graduated for nothing—here I am back in high school. You really don't leave high school. It's a caste system that stays with you through life." She, at least, runs the caste system. "People are good, and they have feelings, and I'm trying to crush them, and they always emerge victorious, and it makes me madder and madder," teases Jane. She's serious.
Final Ironic Note: Former American Idol contestant Amber Riley, who was rejected when she auditioned for the show, is now a star on the soon-to-be hit series, which premieres following Idol on Tuesday night. Says Riley, "At the time, I wasn't even ready to be on American Idol, so I'm glad I was rejected and not thrown to the wolves at 17 years old. It brought me to Glee and gave me a chance to grow, and now I get to show that on television." In other words, in your face Idol.
The series premiere of Glee airs on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox.

Ladies and gentlemen, Katherine Heigl has just declared game on!
After a firestorm of controversy erupted around her decision to remove herself from Emmy consideration last go-'round, the Grey's Anatomy heroine has reentered the gold derby this year, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Natch, cynics will snark that the 2007 Best Supporting Actress winner is back in the race because of the tensions that allegedly sprung up between her and series creator Shonda Rhimes after she took herself out of the running. (The movie starlet, you'll recall, said at the time that she didn't have material with which she could compete.) But I think -- and I think you'll agree -- it's likelier that even she knows that, whether viewers loved or loathed the Izzie's-got-a-brain-tumor story, she played the frak out of it. She's already earned one high profile endorsement...
"I think she did beautiful work," Rhimes raved Thursday immediately following the season finale. "I think she always does beautiful work."
Plus, if it turns out that Izzie did, in fact, take the Seattle Grace elevator straight to heaven, another Emmy would make a lovely parting gift, no?
So what do you think? Is Heigl just keeping the peace at work, or is she out to claim the statuette that, correct me if I'm wrong, is hers to lose? And what of her entry again in the supporting race? Should she have rolled the dice and bumped herself up to lead? Much to discuss, but no worries -- "below" is a bottomless pit into which you can deposit your comments.

Just got a call from BONES Fox Exec James ("Don't call me Jimmy") Oh with an official unofficial pick-up. BONES is back for Season V!
Source: Hart Hanson via Twitter
Thanks to Happyfix for the heads up.
ABC on Friday picked up three more series, sources said.
The network gave nods to new drama "Happy Town" and the Courteney Cox-starring comedy "Cougar Town," both from ABC Studios.
Additionally, midseason drama "Castle," also from ABC Studios, was renewed for a second season.
ABC wouldn't confirm any pickups until it unveils its fall schedule on Tuesday.
Castle"Happy Town" is a small-town murder mystery from the team behind "October Road," creators Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg and director Gary Fleder.
The cast of the series, which has been an early favorite of the ABC brass, includes Geoff Stults, Lauren German, Dean Winters, Amy Acker, Sam Neill, John Patrick Amedori, Sarah Gadon, Jay Paulson and Robert Wisdom.
The single-camera "Cougar Town," from "Scrubs" creator Bill Lawrence, stars Cox as a newly single mother with a 17-year-old son.
Lawrence is exec producing with Kevin Biegel, Cox and David Arquette.
The cast of the show also includes Dan Byrd, Busy Philipps, Brian Van Holt, Christa Miller, Josh Hopkins and Ian Gomez.
"Happy Town" and "Cougar Town" join previously ordered drama "Flash Forward" and comedy "Modern Family."
The detective dramedy "Castle," which is well-liked at ABC, has been a modest performer in the Monday 10 p.m. hour.
Showing its confidence in the Nathan Fillion-starring series, the network brass recently expanded juggernaut "Dancing With the Stars" to two hours on Monday to give "Castle" a boost.
Source: Hollywood Reporter
Fox on Friday picked up comedy "Brothers" to series with a 13 episode-order.
The pilot about the relationship between a retired NFL player (retired ball player Michael Strahan) and his wheelchair-bound brother (Darryl "Chill" Mitchell) was one of the last ones picked up by Fox. CCH Pounder also stars in the low-key comedy that received strong feedback during Fox's pilot screenings last week.
The Sony/Tantamount project joins dramas "Human Target," "Past Life" and "Glee" and comedies "Cleveland" and "Sons of Tucson" as new shows planned for next season on Fox.
Its pickup came after some intense back-and-forth between the network and the studio on Thursday.
Meanwhile, schizophrenia drama "Maggie Hill" is still in contention for midseason.

Hmm...
Is Lily pregnant?
Well, in Monday's season finale, she will tell Marshall she is. But that's all I'm going to say on that subject because the episode is really more about Robin and Barney.
Ted will give the Barnana his blessing to go for it with his ex-girl, so all bets are off on this thing.
And, as Neil Patrick Harris told me on the "How I Met Your Mother" set last month, Robin is aware of the Barnicle's feelings for her. "She's playing mind games with Barney," he said. "I think she's interested to see just how serious he is about her."
But be prepared: This Monday, there will be confessions of love, there will be a make out scene, there will be a major life decision made that may eventually lead to marriage... but one of those things applies to Ted, the other two to B&R.
Thoughts?
Source: Zap2it
Thanks to TSH for the heads up.
Question: The slap bet between Barney and Marshall is one of my favorite storylines on HIMYM. Any chance they will hit us up in the finale? --Sarah
Ausiello: There will be lots of smacking, but not between those two. In related news ...
Question: Are we going to see that freaking goat next week on How I Met Your Mother? --John
Ausiello: Yes! "We're going to learn all about the goat in the season finale," confirms Neil Patrick Harris. "I can't wait to hear the audience reaction. My only concern is a PETA backlash ... [But] no goats were harmed in the making of this TV show." Ted on the other hand ...
Question: I hear something big will happen Monday on How I Met Your Mother with regard to the identity of the mother. Will we finally find out who she is? --Stephen
Ausiello: We won't find out who she is, but we will find out where she is.
Question: Will diehard Barney-Robin fans be satisfied with the How I Met Your Mother finale? --Andree
Ausiello: They'll be ecstatic... hey, you tricked me! No fair!

DAVID BOREANAZ - "FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth"
Re: Mötley Crüe appearing on BONES…
“It’s pretty wild. Any time you have like a major sound stage and you have a great rock and roll band come in and play it, I remember seeing the Eagles at Warner Bros. and they played live there in, I think it was like ’93 or ’94. There’s just a surreal component to it when it all comes together and you’ve got four cameras rolling, it’s amazing to see how it all comes together. It couldn’t be better. I mean I think that the fit’s nice. Motley Crue is, you know, “Doctor Feelgood,” those types of songs, what’s going on with the theme of this episode, so it has a lot going on for it and I think the band fits the show perfectly.
Re: What fans can expect from the finale.
“It’s definitely something that’s going to be unique. I mean obviously the characters will get together, but the way it’s done, it’s going to be a lot different than your kind of normal get-in-the bed and do it kind of thing. There’s a whole theme going on here. Motley Crue is in the episode. I think all the characters play on different types of roles and personalities and it’s really a giving back to the audience that’s followed us, and we’ll say, “Oh my god, a character’s doing this or that character’s doing this,” and mainly, these two characters will get together and do the deed.”
Re: Acting with FAMILY GUY's "Stewie" appears on the Bones Finale
“I got to act with an animated little cartoon guy, so they shot, we shot pretty much all the stuff with a – there was nothing there when I worked with them and they shipped it over to Korea, I think, and they do all the animation, but it’s Booth basically going to the sperm bank to donate sperm to give to her and that unravels and it becomes a bit crazy for him because he’s seeing things, which leads into the season finale of this and he’s got to have an operation.”
EMILY DESCHANEL - "Dr. Temperance Brennan"
Re: The guest stars in the finale
“It’s unlike any episode we’ve ever done before. Number one, Motley Crue is on the show playing in the lab, which is pretty crazy and awesome, and we’ve got so many people who have been on the show before who are coming back. We’ve got all the squints that rotate. Zack is back, so a lot of the fan favorites, all the people have come together and it’s really exciting, I think for anyone who watches the show and likes certain characters, pretty much everyone is in this episode.”
Re: Why Mötley Crüe is on BONES
“We have to have Motley Crue play somewhere, so we decide to change over the whole lab into a night club. It’s kind of a ‘if we build it, they will come situation.’”
Re Tommy Lee's drumming…"Rock n Roll" Booth & Brennan
“Tommy Lee started playing the drums and that was pretty cool, playing the drums on the set of Bones.”
Re: Fans seeing Booth & Brennan together
“I think that when Booth and Brennan get together, it will happen in a very surprising and strange way, but it is still very much Bones. It’s humorous. As you would imagine, Booth and Brennan getting together could be – it’s romantic, it’s sweet, it’s tender, it’s passionate”.
Re: Fans seeing Booth & Brennan together …
“I think it’s important to, you know, have a big moment like that, that everyone’s been waiting for, to have all of the qualities that we think of as Bones, and I think it lives up to that and it won’t happen when you think it’s going to happen either.”

There are just two episodes to go in this season of CBS' NCIS, and playing a sizable role in them is Michael Rivkin, the Mossad agent who last week surfaced in bed alongside Ziva. This Tuesday, Tony finally gets some quality face time with Rivkin, and it's unlikely either gent will be smiling. Merik Tadros, who plays Rivkin, shared a look at what's to come.
TVGuide.com: So, the elusive Michael Rivkin is now among us....
Merik Tadros: [Laughs] Yes, apparently so.
TVGuide.com: Did they tell you, back during [the Season 6 premiere] "Last Man Standing," that they had plans for you to return, but that you'd have to sit tight?
Tadros: The way they set it up, I figured I would make some sort of comeback at one point, but I never knew when it was going to be. I had no idea.
TVGuide.com: You have not exactly endeared yourself to fans landing in bed with Ziva.
Tadros: Yeah, I had a sense that people would probably be angry about that. They're very passionate about the potential love for DiNozzo and David. I'm just doing my job!
TVGuide.com: How is Cote de Pablo as a scene partner?
Tadros: Oh, she's amazing. She's a sweetheart and an amazing actress.... It was very, very easy to have to be in love with her.
TVGuide.com: Do things get intense in these last two episodes?
Tadros: It gets pretty intense, without question. And it was very exciting, because I felt like it shed light on DiNozzo and David in a way that has never before done in the show. It was nice to be a part of that.
TVGuide.com: What's the mood when Tony and Rivkin finally come face to face? Do they "mark their territory"?
Tadros: I would assume so, yes.
TVGuide.com: Shane Brennan told me that Rivkin would "cause some waves." Is the surf going to get only rougher before it calms down?
Tadros: You guys right now are witnessing the calm before the storm.
TVGuide.com: At the end of the day, will Rivkin's presence bring Tony and Ziva closer together, or drive them apart?
Tadros: I think that love can hurt and heal. In this case, we'll have opportunity to see both of those things take place. I don't want to say too much, but... I think it will only make their connection stronger, as they learn a lot more about each other.
TVGuide.com: One theory being batted around is that whatever is going on "between" Rivkin and Ziva is an "arranged" thing that she's trapped in.
Tadros: Well, with the underworld of espionage, you would never really know. They could easily have been paired and had to be in love and then had to learn to love each other.... The way I've always approached it is that Rivkin loves Ziva. They've always wanted to add some suspense and mystery to all of it, but I would always say to the directors, "How could I not love her?" But he also has a job to do. And so does she. [Executive producer] Shane [Brennan] is a genius, so it's been a great pleasure to just go along for this ride. I'm excited to watch the finale [airing May 19] myself just to see how it all plays out!

The verdict is in: David E. Kelley's legal drama "Legally Mad" is not going forward at NBC.
After originally opting to keep the pilot in contention for midseason, the network has decided to pass, triggering a seven-figure penalty to the Warner Bros. TV-produced drama.
There are no immediate plans for the project to be shopped elsewhere.
Also not expected to make it on NBC is the Dick Wolf-produced "Lost & Found." There has been talk about shopping the quirky crime procedural starring Katee Sackhoff to sister cable network USA, but that is considered a long shot. USA already has a relationship with Wolf through his "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," which migrated to the cable channel from NBC. USA also has a law enforcement drama with a strong female lead in "In Plain Sight."
NBC's third pilot left standing after its infront last week, the comedy "Off Duty," likely will be redeveloped.
Meanwhile, "V" and "Limelight" screened to mixed reviews Monday at ABC. Of the two, "V" remains in the mix after scoring well with its alien characters.
With screenings at the network wrapping up, all pilots except the comedies "No Heroics" and "The Bridget Show" got some traction, with the dramas "Happy Town," "The Unknown" and "Cougar Town" as front-runners.
The top contenders at the other networks include "Human Target," "Past Life" and "Brothers" at Fox; the "NCIS" spinoff, "The Good Wife" and "Accidentally on Purpose" at CBS (the comedy "Happiness Isn't Everything" is said to be in the running for midseason); and "Melrose Place" and "Vampire Diaries" at the CW.
In the battle of CBS' three medical dramas, "The Eastmans" is said to have the edge for the moment.

The Big Bang Theory has big finale plans in the works. Seriously. Don't you see the Snuggie on Johnny Galecki (Leonard)? Crazy, right?
The guys are setting out on a summer adventure to the North Pole and leaving their girl Penny behind. You might be asking yourselves how they could do such a thing, but Jim Parsons (Sheldon) said it best when we caught up with him and the rest of the cast on the set.
"I make them an offer they can't refuse," teased Jim. "Not that Sheldon's the Godfather, although I guess in some ways he is the scientific Godfather."
Keep reading for more on a Leonard-Penny hookup and most importantly, which one of these genius remembered to pack that toasty Snuggie...
Why the North Pole? "Sheldon is invited to go on a National Science Foundation expedition to the arctic, and we go along as his crew," said Johnny. "There's a lot of bracing for three months on an ice cube in a hut—with Sheldon." Sounds kooky.
And the Snuggie? It's just a thoughtful bon voyage gift from Penny to Leonard.
Speaking of the twosome, what does this mean for possible romance? Johnny tells us, "Leonard and Penny have to say goodbye for the summer, which blindsides them in a way that they didn't foresee." Kaley Cuoco (Penny) agrees. "The whole episode Penny's acting very aloof. We don't know until the last line of the episode exactly how she feels. She didn't realize how much she didn't want him to leave."
What about life after the North Pole? Kunal Nayyar (Raj) and Simon Helberg (Wolowitz) have some ideas. Kunal's suggestions? "We're all going to come back with beards and bloodshot eyes. Raj has become 300 pounds. We're all going to look like Joaquin Phoenix." And Simon? "We'll be wild animals when we get back. Sheldon should have a handlebar moustache, too."
Kaley's hoping for some new meat too. "Four new guys, all living with her. Or they should come back and she's met someone and it is semi-serious." We'd definitely watch that show!
Now that The Big Bang Theory is coming back for two more seasons, are you as excited as we are to see where things go with Leonard and Penny? What do you think about this North Pole craziness? Let us know in the comments below.

Just two days ago, NBC Entertainment co-chairman Marc Graboff confirmed that "Law & Order: SVU" will return in the fall with or without Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, the show's lead actors who are currently renegotiating their contracts with the network.
The stars are reportedly asking for a cut of the series' back-end profits, which is proving to be a sticking point.
Last night, however, at the Joyful Heart Foundation Gala in New York City, Hargitay and Meloni broke their silence on the situation, expressing hope that a deal is reached.
“We’re all trying to work it out and I have a lot of faith it’s going to work out,” Hargitay told "Access Hollywood."
Meloni was slightly less optimistic, but seems to be keeping his fingers crossed as well. “At this point it’s out of my hands," he said. "It’s a good vibe on the set. We love each other. We all love each other. We’re still happy with the stories that we’re telling and, you know, we’ll see how it works out.”
Sigh...

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Chris Meloni wouldn't mind at all if Dets. Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler finally acted on their hot L&O: SVU chemistry. Meloni told TV Guide magazine, "I'd like to see Benson and Stabler get together...but I can’t let that happen. Mariska [Hargitay] and I have been a wonderful, solid married couple now for 10 years—we see each other more than our families. It's just nice to get a different dynamic in there every once in a while." As for his ongoing contract negotiations, Meloni said, "I wish I could enlighten, and I'm not being coy about it, but I really don't have anything to say." Do you think SVU can survive without Chris and Mariska at the helm?
