Re: Motley Crue guest-starring in the season finale
“Motley Crue man, yeah. My, my 15-year-old male self was freaking out. Was, was very jealous of me. I don’t know, I don’t know what that means but I did feel like I should be a 15-year-old boy or something. Yeah it was pretty crazy to have Motley Crew on set. Very different, very different. I would never dreamed that I would have Motley Crue on the set of Bones, in my wildest dreams, so pretty crazy. Or Stewie from The Family Guy that’s almost more crazy.”
Re: The season finale is not your usual "Bones" episode
“Yes, very different. I’m not allowed to talk about it that much. I mean I, I can only reveal certain things but yeah you definitely see different sides of Booth and Brennan and all of the characters really. It’s a great episode that brings back a lot of characters that people have seen and really like from past episodes and brings them all together. But there’s, you know, kind of unique situations so it brings out different sides of people. And you know lots of twists and turns, and Motley Crue’s in there and, it’s almost like a film noir kind of episode.”
Re: Booth and Brennan finally getting into bed together
“Well, I mean you know in the final episode Booth and Brennan are in bed together and we shot that already, but I think it will happen in a way that will surprise people and at the same time will be very much Booth and Brennan. You know there’s humor, there’s passion, there’s, there’s romance but you know it’s very much in the vein of our show and the characters’ relationship. And so, it’s pretty different. And I think that it’s done in a way that doesn’t, you know, totally ruin the sexual tension for future episodes. It will definitely make things more interesting and add a whole new element to our relationship in the future but it’s not done in a way that dissipates our sexual tension. And so that’s a, you know that’s what I was concerned about and I think everybody was concerned. So I think it’s successful in that way”.
Re: how the season finale will affect things going into next season
“I’ve heard many little things about Season 5. You know they’re just beginning to write that now so you know I know less than what they know and they don’t know very much. So I know kind of because it ends with a kind of cliffhangerish thing. I know a little bit what happens after that but it’s hard for me to talk about it without people having seen the episode. But definitely Booth and Brennan will have a new dynamic the beginning of Season 5. As you would imagine since we end up, we’re in bed together in the end of Season 4 but it will, we will have a whole new dynamic the beginning of Season 5. Our relationship will change”
Re: will we continue to see the post-Zack intern rotation next season?
“Yeah, I believe so. I think we’re going to continue that for a little while. You know at a certain point we might need to make a decision but for now, we are, I think everyone’s enjoying having these different characters coming through and the, the different elements that they bring to each episode. And it’s great, all of the different Zack replacements, if you want to call them, squints, squints, rotating squints, they’re all in the – or not all but a lot of them are in the finale along with Zack and so that’s fun to have all of them together.”

Two new shows hitting NBC this summer include Merlin and The Listener.
Merlin is a 13-part series that updates the story of the sorcerer of Arthurian legend in the mythical city of Camelot. The show premieres Sunday, June 21 @8pm.
The Listener centers on Toby Logan, a 25-year-old paramedic who has a big secret -- he's a telepath. The show premieres Thursday, June 4 @10pm.
Also, part of their summer line-up will include 2 mini-series, Meteor and The Storm.
In "Meteor," two massive rocks -- tumbling debris older than the solar system itself -- collide in space. The course has been altered. The target is Earth. The mini-series will air Sunday, June 7 and June 14 @9pm.
In "The Storm," billionaire Robert Terrell has fulfilled a lifelong obsession and made history with "weather creation" technology though his Atmospheric Research Institute. But during a test run, a blast of energy is sent into the ionosphere with unexpected results. The mini-series will air Sunday, July 19 and Sunday, July 26 @9pm.
Man, the Coreys are going to be pissed they didn't get this.
Actor-slash-"Jessie's Girl" crooner Rick Springfield has signed on to play himself in four episodes of Californication, sources confirm to me exclusively.
As I tweeted earlier this month, producers of the Showtime dramedy put out a casting call looking for "an actor who experienced huge fame in the 80's to play themselves as a now down-on his-luck-ex-celebrity waiting tables to get by."
Props to Springfield for having the guts to poke a little fun at himself. And for being down with the "tasteful nudity" and "simulated sex" that I'm told the role requires. (That noise you hear is millions of middle-aged General Hospital fans squealing, "We're going to see Dr. Drake's naughty bits!")

Thanks to Annie for the heads up.
After months of speculation, the third series of the Doctor Who spin-off show, Torchwood, is to be broadcast on BBC1 in June.
The British Film Institute are hosting a preview of the first episode on Friday, 12th June at the National Film Theatre in London. This would suggest that Torchwood: Children of Earth will start broadcasting on 15th June. As previously announced by the BBC, the five-part series will be aired over five consecutive nights though it would appear that this format will not be observed when it is screened on BBC America.
The event at the NFT also includes a Q&A with guests from the cast and creative team. The BFi have also supplied a synopsis for the first installment (those avoiding spoilers may want to look away now):
1965: Twelve children are gathered on a deserted moor, before being surrounded by a harsh, bright light .... and then they are gone!
Today: all over Earth, children stop moving. Stop playing, stop laughing. Then, as one, they begin to speak with the same voice, announcing the imminent arrival of a new alien threat. "We are coming...". As the British government closes ranks, it issues a death warrant against Captain Jack and Torchwood...

Just as JAG begot NCIS, CBS' NCIS is poised to produce its own progeny. In a two-part arc airing April 28 and May 5 and titled "Legend," Gibbs and the gang will interact with the Official of Special Projects, a Los Angeles-based agency populated by Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J, Louise Lombard and other familiar faces. If all goes well, CBS will order this "backdoor pilot" to series for the 2009-10 TV season.
Here in Part 1 of our Q&A with Shane Brennan, the NCIS executive producer shared a look at what fans of the original series can expect from its offshoot, and in what way it will be like nothing ever seen before on TV.
TVGuide.com: Before we get started here, I wanted to tell you that Rocky Carroll is one helluva celebrity blogger for TVGuide.com.
Shane Brennan: Yeah, he's a great guy. One of the great things that happened to the show this season was bringing Rocky on [as a series regular], and I think he has delivered in spades. He's a great actor.
TVGuide.com: He's secretly hoping that Vance occasionally pops up in the NCIS spin-off.
Brennan: Well, you never know. Let me say something — no one will leave the current show. Everyone is staying. So everyone can relax on the NCIS front! You never know, someone like the director of NCIS might end up having to work with the other agency at some point. That could very well happen.
TVGuide.com: So let's talk about the spin-off's backdoor pilot. How good are you feeling about it?
Brennan: We put together a two-parter that really does everything that I hoped it would do, and then some. It was very important to me that these were episodes of NCIS first, and I made that clear to everyone. I didn't want fans of the show feeling alienated by having to sit down and watch these new characters they knew nothing about. That's why I made it a two-hour episode, so that we could integrate the new characters into the story and still give people their dose of NCIS. I am very, very happy with it. The cast and crew did an amazing job, working extremely hard under a tight deadline. When you make a pilot episode you [typically] don't have an airdate, there's no ticking clock. Well, we've had a very loud ticking clock, but it's come together beautifully.
TVGuide.com: Will the spin-off be tonally the same as NCIS?
Brennan: The audience, when they hold these two shows up, will see that nothing has changed from the original. The new show reflects some of the tone of the original show in that, you've got a group of people working closely together in sometimes quite extreme conditions, in terms of jeopardy and the intensity of the operations.
TVGuide.com: But this is not a simple case of, "If you like Gibbs, you'll love Chris O'Donnell's Agent Callen!"
Brennan: I'm a little careful about holding up comparisons. We could have mixed up any bunch of characters and made them as different as we can, but they're still going to be held up to the original team, and that's fine. I understand that. What people will find is that this ensemble is different because the cases they handle are different, and the way they approach their stories are different. And yet at the same time they are a group of people working together having fun together and being in danger together. It is still very much a family; it's just another part of the family. It's the neighbors down the street, and the audience will fall in love with them.
TVGuide.com: Do we have a title yet? Will it invariably be NCIS-colon-something?
Brennan: We haven't officially come out with a title. We will do that if the show is picked up.
TVGuide.com: I hear that you show off some nifty technology at the OSP.
Brennan: In "Legend" Part 1 and Part 2, we get insight into some technology that to the best of our knowledge hasn't been seen on television before. Back during the election, there was a touch screen where they dragged images around using their hands; we actually have that technology, and this is the first time it's been used in a scripted drama. But we also have some technology that's never been seen where we actually shoot through the screen, so you can see the image on the screen and the person standing looking at that image.
TVGuide.com: Kind of like, say, Minority Report.
Brennan: But it's real technology. Ninety percent what people are going to see on this show is realistic, and it's the actors doing it. It's not a special effect. It's hand-on and it's all happening in front your eyes. Everyone who has stepped onto that set has been blown away by it. In fact, when McGee learns that he is going to the OSP, Ziva says, "OSP — what's that?" And McGee's face just beams: "Cool toys." He's a kid in a candy store and has a lot of fun in both episodes. But the audience also is going to be pretty blown away by what they see.

Jeri Ryan appeared on an episode of SVU this spring as a defense attorney, she announces in this interview she will be back next season for more episodes on the drama, she also announces she will be attending soon her first Star Trek convention since Star Trek Voyager ended.
Science fiction pin-up Gillian Anderson is being lined up to join the cast of Doctor Who as a new deadly enemy of the Time Lord.
Sources say programme chiefs want the London-based X-Files star to appear opposite the new DoctorMatt Smith in a one-off adventure next year. It’s understood the American actress could play renegade Time Lady The Rani, a glamorous but evil scientific genius previously played in the series by Kate O’Mara in the Eighties.
“Gillian obviously has a massive sci-fi following and it’s felt it would be a major coup to have her appear in Doctor Who,” says a show insider. “The team behind the show are keen for the next Doctor to have lots of new enemies and Gillian would be a glamorous and impressive addition to the list. The Rani would be a perfect role for her as the character used to be regarded as one of the Doctor’s most deadly opponents.”
Anderson, 40, recently appeared in a big screen version of The X-Files along with co-star David Duchovny. In recent years she has enjoyed critical acclaim as an actress, appearing in the BBC’s Bleak House and hit film The Last King Of Scotland. She is currently preparing to star alongside former Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston next month in A Doll’s House at the Donmar Warehouse in London’s West End.
“It would undoubtedly be regarded as one of those great sci-fi moments if the star of The X-Files gets to clash with the Doctor,” gushes our mole with the sonic screwdriver.

Our favorite leather-clad badasses from Sons of Anarchy are back with new episodes, new guest stars and new troublemaking this September. The FX show begins shooting its second season April 27.
We caught up with show star Katey Sagal and her husband and show creator, Kurt Sutter, at the TV Land Awards this weekend to find out what's in store for the motorcycle gang of Charming, Calif.
"This season is going to be about all the internal conflicts that happen at the club," Sutter tells us. "And I think the club is going to become its own worst enemy. We're still figuring it out, and we're still doing some casting."
One special guest who has been cast is rocker Henry Rollins who, Kurt says, "Is going to play this hard-boiled Aryan guy who is somewhat reformed, and his boss is still being cast. We'll have some news on that in a week or two. "
As for Katey's character, she says she's happy playing a tougher role: "I like her pretty mean. She doesn't really think she's mean. Her intention is to protect, but she's pretty mean."
Are you excited for Sons of Anarchy's return? Isn't Henry Rollins genius casting for this show?

Ready for some fangstastic casting news?
Sources confirm to me exclusively that True Blood creator Alan Ball has tapped Evan Rachel Wood to play the pivotal role of Sophie-Anne, the vampire Queen of Louisiana!
Who dat, you ask? She's a 500-year-old vampire from France who is charming, wily, ruthless and wise. She's a consummate diplomat who has (or had) many of history's most famous people on speed dial.
Short story shorter: It's a major frakkin' part, and landing Wood (whose last significant TV gig was Once and Again) is a major frakkin' coup.
A True Blood insider tells me that Wood is booked for two episodes, both of which will air towards the end of the show's upcoming second season. But rest assured, if the show is renewed for a third season (and, please, it will be), Wood will be back. Again: Major frakkin' part.

Changes are coming to “90210” ...and let's be honest, that's probably a good thing. The show is watchable, sure, but it certainly doesn't posses the draw its predecessor did.
Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Las Vegas”), who recently took the reins from exec producers Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs, was brought in to address the series' various problems. Right off the bat, she made some big decisions, the most controversial being the dismissal of leading man Dustin Milligan.
The move made waves among fans and sparked much curiousity. And when Kirshner Sinclair was later quoted saying that she wants to stop using veteran characters like Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh in order to refocus the series on the new kids, she really caught viewers' attention.
So, what exactly does Kirshner Sinclair want the new "90210" to look like, sound like and feel like? KTV correspondent Marisa Roffman tracked the show runner down to find out...
As a fan of the original series, I have to ask, did you watch “Beverly Hills, 90210”?
R: Yeah, that was my era. I grew up with those girls [from the original show]. What they wore to their prom was the same thing I wore to mine. It was that black, sleek dress with a giant white bow over the shoulders. And there was this whole plot of how [Kelly and Brenda] both wore [the same dress], and I had already gotten it first, so [when it aired] I was like, oh my God, that’s my dress! And some girl at my school wore it as well.
So you had your own Brenda and Kelly dress fiasco at your prom! Will your familiarity with the original series impact how you run “90210”?
R: Yeah. [“Beverly Hills, 90210”] was a zeitgeist when I was growing up. I’m honored to pay homage to that show, but what I’m excited about is when fans can almost forget there was an old show and [“90210”] feels like a new thing that really reflects the zeitgeist now. There was some magic when [the original] started and it really struck a nerve, and I can’t even begin to analyze how that came about, but [for this show], I’d like to begin by writing about real teenagers and a real world.
Fans were shocked when news broke that Dustin Milligan (Ethan) won't be returning next year. Can you talk about the reasons behind cutting Ethan?
R: I honestly think Dustin is such a good actor and such a lovely person. He is incredibly smart and perceptive and I loved working with him. At the end of the year [when I joined the show], I was really encouraging a dialogue between the writers and the actors and he was somebody who took me up on that. He was so thoughtful and careful about his ideas, and I was really impressed. So in my mind, it wasn’t about not liking Dustin, but [about] the character of Ethan. I felt [Ethan] didn’t allow me the freedom that I wanted. I really wanted a range between the characters and I didn’t feel like I could do with that character what I wanted to do with one of my core people. I think Dustin is amazing and he’ll do great. I was very honored to work with him, but he won’t be back.
Will Dustin ever show up in a season 2 episode to wrap up his storyline?
R: I’m not absolutely sure, but I don’t think so.
Do you have plans to add any characters in the near future?
R: I’d love to! There’s a range of teenagers I’d love to see. I’d love to see a surfer girl. I’d love to see a tennis player guy. I want to bring in the sunshine and sexiness of LA and balance our mix and allow our kids to find who they are.
It’s been reported that you are planning on cutting the vets from the original series in the future. Does that mean Jennie Garth (Kelly) won’t be recurring next season?
R: I honestly feel that interview might not have reflected my real feelings [on the topic]. I’m not interested in casting people just for stunt value. I’m not interested in looking at it like, oh my God, that’s Madonna walking across the screen. If Madonna wants to play someone’s mom at the school, that’s fabulous. To me, I really care about the new generation of kids, that’s where my heart is, but I think all those people [from the original series], it’s been an honor to work with them and I’m open to any of them [returning]. I just don’t want to do it for stunt value or shock value. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to [use the vets again]. If someone falls into the world, I’m all for that.
So Kelly’s sticking around?
R: Yeah. You’ll see more of Kelly for sure.
I know the show has gone through changes over the season, but it seems like some storylines have been brought up and then never addressed again, i.e. Harry’s missing son. Do you have any plans to revisit that?
R: Anything is possible, but I don't think my goal will be to answer every question, but rather to set forth a new drama. That’s not to say some of the [unanswered] stuff isn’t [important] -- everything will have to be judged specifically -- but I think there may be some leaps in that this is a new incarnation and a new thing.
Is there anything you can tease to for the finale?
R: A lot of drama goes down. It’s the end of the school year, it’s the end of the season. Some decisions are made that will change a lot. People make some really bad decisions, people open up their hearts and, for one character, there is something [that happens which] is the straw that breaks the camel’s back. People are becoming who they could be [in the future]. There is some real growth and evolution in the characters as a result of the events that happen at the end of season one.
So, thoughts? You think RRKS will be good for "90210"?

Discuss this episode in our Official Episode Discussion Thread.
If you watch The Mentalist you've got two burning questions: Where is Red John? And (less seriously) when are Rigsby and Grace going to finally get it on?
We've got the answers to both, as well as a little scoop from the cast and exec producers that the Mentalist himself, Mr. Patrick Jane, might be getting a little psycho himself before the season's out.
Want to know what drives Jane to such a dark place? Read on...
What's To Come: According to Simon Baker, the May 19 season finale takes Patrick Jane to a very serious place: "What we do in the finale is go straight to the quick of what drives him, which is revenge. There's a real vengeance within him and a burning desire for revenge. So you see this darker side of what he wants, in that sense."
Last Chapter: According to exec producer Chris Long the finale circles back to where we began: Red John. Chris tell us, "This is the third ep in the season dealing with Red John. We learn something about Red John, we learn something about Jane—there's a scene at the end of the show where Jane does something that will change the way we view him."
Ain't Over 'Til It's Over: But don't expect a resolution to the Red John mystery until the veeeery end. Mentalist creator Bruno Heller says, "Red John is an essential part of [Jane's] character, so at this stage, imagining the show without him is like imagining Moby Dick without Moby Dick."
New Love? Someone as charming and cute as Patrick Jane could (and perhaps should) get a girl, right? But does that happen anytime soon? Says Long, "Jane still wears a wedding ring, and we've hinted in certain episodes that he's not ready to go there. Not sure there will be that much romance. Lisbon (Robin Tunney) and Jane are slightly flirtatious, they're two fairly young kids, both unattached at the moment, so I'm sure there's an occasional something...but it's not something we're really going to explore yet in season two." For Robin's part, she sees the sparks, too: "There's chemistry there—whether it's a friend thing or a romance thing, we don't know."
Play Ball? Will non-couple Rigsby and Grace ever get together? According to Owain Yeoman, "Right now it's just adorable fumbling. There's some progress, one step forward, two steps back. I think eventually there's something in the works." And is Grace onboard with that? Maybe, maybe not. Says Amanda Righetti, her character's reluctance to pursue romance with Grigsby is because, "This job is her life, and it's what she's worked for, for so many years. And she's finally gotten to a place where she feels she can have potential and growth, and to destroy that over a guy, she's a little bit more reasonable than that." Argh!
Are you rooting for Rigsby and Grace? What do you think Patrick Jane's drastic move in the finale might be? Are you still loving The Mentalist? Post in the comments!

Michaela McManus will not return to Law & Order: SVU next season, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
McManus' character, Assistant District Attorney Kim Greylek, left the SVU in a March episode to return to Washington, D.C., a development that coincided with the reappearance of ADA Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March). But it's looking like Greylek will remain inside the Beltway. March is scheduled to appear in four more episodes this spring.
The One Tree Hill alum tweeted a thank-you message to the fans on Twitter about her departure from the show. NBC did not respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
All of which raises the questions: Will SVU have a new ADA in the fall? And will she be played by Stephanie March?

Diablo Cody is a “90210” fangirl.
If you follow her on Twitter, you’ve probably seen her gushing about filming her cameo on the show alongside original series stars, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.
And on Saturday night in Beverly Hills, Diablo had no reservations about showing her "9-0" love and expressing her feelings about the show's storylines as she moderated The Paley Festival's panel honoring the drama.
Robestes After a screening of the Rob Estes-directed 20th episode (airing 4/21), Diablo declared that the couple who gets engaged in the closing minutes of the hour should not get married, she told Rob (Harry) that she gets “anxious” whenever Harry and Debbie fight, she asked Ryan Eggold (Ryan) if he felt his character belonged with Kelly, and she confessed that she was very invested in his answer. Plus, she corrected Shenae Grimes (Annie) on the proper pronunciation of Andrea Zuckerman's first name.
Love it.
And what did the stars of “90210” have to say that night?
Torispelling Well, first things first, everyone was talking about Donna Martin's return to Beverly Hills, which happens this evening -- you have seen the preview clips, yes? -- and can I tell you how nice it will be to have Ms. Martin back in the neighborhood?
Watching the Kelly/Brenda dynamic was cool -- all my love to Shannen, always -- but Kel's connection with her BFF is different. I only wish that Donna’s homecoming didn’t spell trouble for her and the husband... yep, the Donna-David union is dealing with some serious problems at the moment.
Hey, 'member when Donna finally gave it up to him back on college graduation night in 1997? With the white lingerie and the candles everywhere?
I don't know why I just brought that up...
Mattlanter Anyway, moving on, the new guy in town, Matt Lanter (Liam), said he's of course heard all the comparisons between his character and Dylan McKay. Having just finished watching the first season of the original series on DVD, Lanter told me, “They’re both independent guys. They don’t put up with people’s BS. [Dylan] was this bad boy character and I guess Liam is [a bad boy] of sorts.”
And now that it’s been confirmed that Liam will be back as a series regular next season, Lanter has many hopes for his character. “I’m looking forward to developing [Liam],” he admitted. “There are a lot of layers that haven’t been peeled back yet and they need to be peeled back. I think we’re going to learn a lot about Liam and what drives him, and his family life, and why he is the way he is. I’m anxious to get into that.”
Jessicastroup And what’s next for Silver, whom we last saw breaking down like a total lunatic?
Post-hospitalization, Silver is going to struggle to get her life back on track, and there will be some drastic changes, including a transfer to a new school, which I told you about first last month.
“This is a lifelong thing, so it’s so fresh,” Jessica Stroup (Silver) said, referring to the bipolar disorder that her character will be diagnosed with this week. “It’s so new for her, so for the rest of the season, it’s all about finding the balance. It's about whether the friends she has at West Beverly will respect her again, if Dixon will stick by her with this [illness]. She is going to go through the ups and the downs of the recovery and, in the end, can she really come back to the Silver we all loved?”
Ryaneggold One thing, however, that won’t change in Silver’s life is her tempestuous dynamic with Mr. Matthews. Ryan Eggold shared that he's a bit disappointed their relationship doesn’t change tremendously, even after everything that's gone down between them. "It would have been interesting [if it had shifted]," he said. "They sort of have their moment together and then it’s back to the grind.”
And I agree with Eggold that that's sort of weird. I mean, the girl did break into his apartment, threaten him and smash a bunch of things...
Jenniegarth But anyway, one person who will definitely be sticking close to Silver is Kelly. In tonight's episode, she spends a lot of time trying to help her little sister and get her back on solid ground, while Silver just rebels against that. "She doesn’t want to go to bed at a certain time and take this certain [medicine]," Stroup revealed. "But [Silver ultimately] realizes that this is now her life.”
What else? Oh, partner swapping.
Shenaegrimes “There’s a lot of teasing coming up with Liam and Annie,” Lanter shared. Shenae laughed when a possible Liam/Annie relationship was mentioned because the two apparently only share a couple scenes this season, but she did admit that she and Matt have discussed those scenes and think a romance might be coming.
That’s not to say things won't be hot and heavy with Liam and Naomi in the coming weeks. In the 20th episode, Liam and Naomi have a pretty major make out session at the opening of Donna’s new store (yep, she's opening a BH location). Naomi seems to have fallen quite fast for Liam, so it's definitely just a matter of time before she'll be wanting to claw Annie's eyes out over him.
Dustinmilligan Another possible love connection that will grow over the next batch of episodes? Silver and Ethan. While it might seem unlikely since Silver's still with Dixon, Jessica said she can understand why something might start between them. “The interesting thing with Ethan is that his character is going through a discovery of life all over again because he’s been stuck in this bubble,” she mused. “And Silver is definitely a different kind of girl [for him]. But whether or not he makes an advance, that is yet to be seen. Dixon and Silver are going to see some trouble though [either way]. It all kind of happens around the same time, so we’ll see what goes down.”
Sarafoster And back to the whole Ryan-Kelly thing that Diablo brought up, it seems the two will take their relationship to the next level in episode 20, but that does not mean they'll be a couple. “There’s more love on the way,” Eggold said with a laugh. “[Ryan]’s a little mixed up with the ladies. He’s got some interesting issues I think. There’s a lot of off-and-on, start-and-stop. He’s got a thing with Kelly that is back and forth. There’s a new female character that’s introduced that is another romantic interest for him.” That new love interest? Naomi’s sister. Remember, I mentioned this a while back?
Anyway, Eggold -- whom I heart because he never censors himself -- also said that he would like for Ryan's multiple partners this season to be explained by something like sex addiction. Sadly for him, they probably won't go down that road...
Looking forward, there's of course Prom and the season finale right around the corner. The cast seemed really excited about the final episodes... though it doesn't sound like anyone is going to have a particularly pleasant time at the big school dance.
Annalynnemccord Shenae lamented that it won't be so great for Annie -- I was on set while they were filming that episode, and yeah, she accepts her date's invitation out of pity -- and according to Matt, Liam goes to the dance “kind of, in a way” with someone -- ahem, Naomi, ahem -- and that “there is some drama that happens in and around prom.”
And the adults are not immune to the tension. Rob told us that Debbie and Harry will have some marital issues to contend with and said, “In the last episode, you find [Harry and Debbie] in a very, very compromising position. It’s very interesting.”
Hmmmm...
Shannendoherty Of course, Brenda will be back, but don’t expect a repeat of the Ryan/Brenda hook up situation. Said Eggold, “[Ryan] got burned pretty bad with Kelly the last time [when Kelly found out he slept with Brenda], so I don’t think he would dare [go at it with Ms. Walsh again].”
Boo.
I think they should.
You?
You've been asking me, I've been asking myself, and finally, I've gone and asked Big Bang Theory executive producer Bill Prady: What the frak is the deal with Sheldon and Penny?
"We're as baffled as Sheldon's friends are by what his deal is," never mind what his deal with Penny is, he says. "He doesn't seem to have any interests that are particularly social, whether they are friendship ones or romantic ones.
"I will say this: In our season 2 opener, Sheldon was kind of shocked when Penny casually acknowledged that the two of them were friends," he continues. "I think just for Sheldon and Penny to have what she will acknowledge as a friendship is remarkable progress for him. She may be the only friend he's made in a while, so I think everyone's going to have to call that progress. Hoping for more may be way beyond possibility."
Note that Prady said "may be," not "is."
Also note that when Sheldon gets locked out of his apartment in the April 27 episode, "The Vegas Renormalization" -- Leonard, Koothrappali and Wolowitz are, as the title suggests, in Sin City -- the brainiac shacks up with the girl next door. But what does it all mean, especially in light of what Prady tells me in today's AA about a potentially huge advance in Leonard and Penny's relationship in the season's last two episodes?
"You never know," he teases.
What do you think? Is BBT going to go there with Sheldon and Penny? Should they? Or would you be as heartbroken as Leonard? Comments below. Oh, and if you're going to submit your remarks in the form of a pie chart or graph, please, jpgs only. Thanks. (Additional reporting by Andy Patrick)

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC has renewed "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," but the two stars of the show, Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, still have no deals to return.
After lengthy talks, the network has closed a pact with Wolf Films to bring the veteran crime drama back for an 11th season.
Its two lead actors, who usually negotiate their contracts together, started talks with the network only last week.
After a tough back-and-forth in 2007, Emmy winner Hargitay and Meloni inked rich two-year deals that brought their paychecks to about $350,000 an episode.
But the networks are trimming costs because of the recession and slipping primetime ratings, and with NBC in the forefront of the budget cuts, getting raises will be much more difficult this time around.
On the other hand, it's hard to imagine "SVU" continuing without Hargitay and Meloni.
Crime procedurals have showed resilience after losing a lead actor -- most recently with CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" subbing departing William Petersen with Laurence Fishburne -- but it's more difficult for an established show to survive the loss of both its female and male stars.

Brianne in Boise, Idaho: I love The Big Bang Theory. Do you know what's coming up for Raj and Wolowitz?
We do! And not just Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), but Leonard (Johnny Galecki) too! In the April 27 episode, the threesome heads to Sin City and Simon tells us that it's because Sara Gilbert's Leslie dumps him! Simon says, "We go to help me get over a breakup. Howard gets dumped, and the guys are like, 'Let's go to Vegas!' Of course Sheldon doesn't go because he's Sheldon. He can't handle that." Kunal spilled a little more on the vacay: "A lot of hilarity ensues. We go to Vegas...and there might be hookers involved, which you always know is going to be a good time." And for all you Sheldon and Penny fanatics, the duo is stuck at home—and together—when Sheldon locks himself out of his apartment. Obviously this is a recipe for a hilarious slumber party for the pair.

"How I Met Your Mother" is going to tease us this week with a new episode, then take next week off before returning again the last week in April. And the show also seems to be teasing us about something else: a perhaps-imminent coupling of Barney and Robin.
This is just speculation on my part, but after viewing the video below -- called "BRo Love" (the B and R stand for Barney and Robin, natch), it's a montage of all the romantic, semi-romantic and out-of-context nice stuff involving the two characters -- it's not hard to think that "HIMYM" is headed toward something like that in the near future.
That aspect of the show has taken a bit of a back seat to other storylines of late -- in fact, we haven't seen or heard much about it since Barney's TV-smashing, misinterpreted "I love you" escapades back in January. Even the CBS logline for this week doesn't say anything about them -- instead, it's all about Ted starting his own architecture firm: "When Ted loses his job and decides to form his own architectural firm out of his apartment, he hires an intern to help get his company off the ground, but the intern gets too close for comfort with some of Ted's friends."
But I can't help but wonder what the show is building toward, particularly in the light of co-creator Carter Bays' comments last month that he and his fellow writers had already come up with the "dramatic climax" to the Barney-Robin story. I don't know if something will happen this week, but it has to be coming, right?
