Icon sex symbol Kathleen Turner is joining Showtime's Californication for a recurring arc during the dramedy's upcoming third season, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Turner will play the ball-breaking, foul-mouthed, outrageous boss of Evan Handler's literary agent. She's Ari Gold without the poison sushi allergy penis!
A Showtime rep declined to comment, but Turner's spokesperson, Alan Nierob, confirmed that the Oscar-nominated actress would be spending three months in Los Angeles shooting the role.
Season three of Californication is slated to debut next fall.

Who's Alicia Witt playing?
She's playing Red John!!
Wait, that came out wrong. What I meant to say is she's connected to Red John, the infamous serial killer who took the life of P-Jane's wife and child.
Let me back up: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Alicia Witt (of Cybill and Law & Order: Criminal Intent fame) will guest star in the season finale of The Mentalist as Rosalind Harker, a luminously beautiful piano player who used to date the madman, the myth, the legend known as Red John.
OMG, this is just the break Simon Baker's master observationist was looking for, right?! Well, kinda. You see, Rosalind isn't able to... The thing is... What I'm trying to say is... It's a big ol' twist, dammit!

Someone's going to die on the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit finale. But being the shameless scoop hounds we are, we're trying to solve the crime before it happens. We interrogated show runner Neal Baer for some clues.
Ready to put your detective skills to work? Here's what we've learned so far:
Someone's a Goner! This is the single tidbit of spoilery goodness we all know already! So who might not survive the season-10 finale? When we asked Neal if we'd be losing a series regular, he would only say this: "It's a castmember." Hmmm, does that mean it could be one of the less important players, like, say, forensics tech Ryan O'Halloren (Mike Doyle)?
SVUers Take the Case: Neal wouldn't confirm that the death is a sex-related crime, but he did tell us, "The detectives will be involved in solving the case." So will the investigation carry on into season 11? Is there any chance this character might return? "No, [the] death is permanent." But the emotional impact for the crew definitely carries into next year.
Munch Is Out? For some reason, Detective Munch's (Richard Belzer) name always comes up whenever the talk turns to SVU departures. Could it finally be time? Being the slick exec that he is, when asked if Munch were leaving, Neal played coy, saying, "I hope not. Well, we'll see." Doesn't sound like much of a denial or a confession, but come on, you wouldn't do that to us, would you, Neal? SVU just wouldn't be the same without the dynamic duo of Munch and Fin (Ice-T)!
SVU's A.D.A. Overload! Alex Cabot has been back for a few weeks now, and when we asked Neal about Stephanie March's future on SVU, he told us: "Stephanie is in the next-to-the-last episode; she's not in the last episode." So if her arc wraps just before the finale, could her body could be found at the end of that episode, leaving Benson and Stabler and the gang to solve their good friend's death in true finale form? We could be reaching, but it doesn't seem impossible!
Neal did say that you never know what the future holds. "About five years ago, she was gone! She was in witness protection and she got out, so life is unpredictable."
Neal did confirm that Michaela McManus won't be back on SVU, but also that the door is not entirely closed on that other A.D.A. we all love, Diane Neal's Casey Novak. "Well, she was disbarred for a year but as I said, life is unpredictable." We're not math whizzes, but if you carry the two and divide by the...hey, that year off would be wrapping up right about now!
Academy Award Winner X: One last thing, Neal mentioned another very special guest star coming up. We can't name names just yet, but he reveals that "an Oscar-winning performer is coming on in the next-to-the-last episode." Perhaps it's an Oscar winner hoping to get some Emmy consideration for playing the person who murders an SVU castmember? (We're just throwing that out there...)
So what do you guys think? Who's leaving SVU?
Sound off below and give us all of your brilliant theories, and check out the Spoiler Chat on Monday for lots more SVU.
Law & Order: SVU airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.

STEWIE GRIFFIN OFFERS BOOTH SOME SAGE ADVICE ON “BONES” THURSDAY, MAY 7, ON FOX
Stewie Griffin, the youngest member of the FAMILY GUY clan, makes a very unique appearance on BONES Thursday, May 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In “The Critic in the Cabernet” episode, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) decides she wants to have a baby and surprises Booth (David Boreanaz) with a request to father her child. Brennan’s request dredges up a host of unspoken feelings and unresolved issues between the two, and Booth becomes consumed by the prospect of having a child. The stress of the situation, coupled with Booth’s undiagnosed health issue, paves the way for a surprise visit from Stewie. The diabolically clever baby assesses the situation and offers advice in his inimitable style.
After returning from the BONES set, Griffin remarked on the experience of playing his first dramatic role: “Oh, have you seen it? Was I good? Because I heard they said I was amazing and they want me to replace Emily, but that’s just a rumor.”
“The guy was good during the actual scenes, which is the important thing,” Boreanaz commented. “But between takes he literally vanished – nowhere to be seen. I guess it’s true that Brits and cartoons tend to be standoff-ish. Or maybe it was a method thing, I don’t know.”
In its new Thursday time period, BONES ranks No. 1 among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers. The series is up over its average for the comparable period last year among key demos and improves over FOX’s prior delivery in the Thursday 8:00 PM hour by dramatic margins among Adults 18-49 (+43%), Adults 18-34 (+20%) and Total Viewers (+74%).
BONES is from Far Field Productions and Josephson Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan are executive producers.

This one's for all you Trekkies out there!
Sunday's episode of Family Guy, "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven," reunites the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, who "couldn't have been more game to spoof themselves," according to show runner and Star Trek fan David Goodman.
Find out more about this episode and what supergeeky fun lies ahead for Family Guy…
What Goes Down: "There are two stories going on in the episode," explains David, who appears as a Star Trek geek, er, fan in the convention scene. "One story involves Meg and Brian. Meg finds God. And she finds religion and is giving Brian a hard time for his atheism."
The second story involves Stewie and the family going to the Star Trek convention. According to Goodman, when Stewie doesn't get his question answered, "He buys plans for a transporter and beams the cast into his room."
Who Drops By and Why: Among those appearing as themselves: Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Denise Crosby, Gates McFadden, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn and everyone's favorite former child star/geek blogger Wil Wheaton. "They were all very game. We had fun playing with who they are," says David, who says it's easy to mock sci-fi characters because "It's easy to mock things that take themselves too seriously. Star Trek is both wonderful and pompous at the same time. I really am a die-hard Trekkie, but there are moments in Star Trek where it takes itself very seriously."
Nerd Alert: Indeed, superserious Trekkies will love the inside joke on this episode that revolves around a real argument die-hard fans often have. David explains: "In the episode [laughs] 'Relix' in Star Trek: The Next Generation, the character Scotty is pulled out of suspended animation, and he says, 'Oh, did Captain Kirk come to pick me up?' And then we find out after The Next Generation ended that Captain Kirk died and Scotty was there. So why in that episode did he think that Captain Kirk was going to pick him up if he saw him die later? And, of course, the answer is they hadn't made the movie yet and made that decision. But there is a possible explanation, which I offer in the guise of a cartoon character, so I was very pleased [laughs] to do that."
What's to Come: Upcoming Family Guy episodes, according to David, will take on The Empire Strikes Back (look for it at the end of next season) and Return of the Jedi as well as Tootsie (yes, Tootsie!), Battlestar Galactica (probably as a gag, rather than a whole episode) and maybe even more Facts of Life (hello George Clooney?!) references.
"[Facts of Life] is a favorite show of Seth MacFarlane's, and I think eventually you'll be seeing some more of Facts of Life...," he adds. There is also an episode coming up that will only feature Stewie and Brian. (And let's not forgot about Stewie showing up on a Bones episode in May during one of Booth's hallucinations.)
Which upcoming episode are you most stoked about? Who else should they spoof?

So, it looks like Booth and Brennan will get their bedroom time this spring after all. No doubt they have their vocal fans to thank for it.
As I reported last Thursday, because of President Obama's prime time address tomorrow night, "Bones" is in danger of losing a whole hour of its season to accommodate "American Idol"'s schedule. And as of late last week, FOX's tentative plan was to push "Bones"' season finale -- which includes the long awaited Booth and Brennan hook up -- to fall.
However, it seems the tentative plan has been tweaked.
Though FOX is not commenting on "Bones"' schedule, insiders tell me that a revised version of their spring lineup was released earlier today and though "Bones" will indeed lose an episode this season, the finale hour is no longer the one marked for postponement. Instead, they've axed ep 4.18 "Beaver in the Otter" (otherwise known on fan sites as ep 4.24, episode numbers are wonky this season due to several year 3 episodes being pushed last spring).
Perhaps the network peeped some of the fans' helpful suggestions and decided to take their feelings into account.
Of course all schedules are subject to change, but I will monitor the situation and keep you updated.
Assuming the current plan stands, are you satisfied? Or are you pissed that you're still probably losing an hour of "Bones" this season?

Jeri Ryan is going back before the bar for a guest role on "Law & Order: SVU."
Ryan, whose last TV role was as the L.A. district attorney on CBS' "Shark," will play a lawyer on "SVU" for three episodes, starting Tuesday, April 7. That episode will also feature guest stars Delroy Lindo ("Kidnapped") and John Ashton ("Gone Baby Gone," "Beverly Hills Cop").
"Jeri Ryan's the real deal. She brings a compelling intensity to her roles, and we're lucky to have her as a kick-butt attorney on 'SVU,'" executive producer Neal Baer says.
In the April 7 episode, the SVU detectives will take on the case of a serial killer who has left a long trail of victims. Lindo will play a detective who's been working the case, while Ashton will play the NYPD's chief of detectives.
In addition to "Shark," Ryan was a regular on FOX's "Boston Public" from 2001-04 and on "Star Trek: Voyager." She's also had recurring parts on "The O.C." and "Boston Legal."

Fresh off her second stint as All My Children's "real Greenlee," Rebecca Budig has grabbed a guest-starring gig on CBS' How I Met Your Mother.
In one of this season's final episodes, Budig will play Holly, a new girlfriend of Ted's, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
The casting of Budig is perhaps 17 percent extra-interesting to longtime AMC viewers who know that Abigail Spencer (who played Pine Valley's virginal Becca Tyree) also has "dated" Ted. Spencer played "Blah Blah," a Season 3 girlfriend whose name Ted could never remember.
The same two actresses sharing a Josh (Radnor vs. Duhamel)... . I could go on for days with the coinky-dinks. But of greater/actual concern to the HIMYM fan is the fact that Budig's appearance, sources tell me, will set the table for a small tease as to the titular Mother's identity. For a bit more on that, you'll have to keep an eye out for this week's Mitovich Mega Minute.
Budig's Mother casting was first reported by DaytimeConfidential.com.

Green will play Lucky, a D.C. insider who knows everyone in town.
The notorious BAG is just one of several names already attached to "Politic" including Gabrielle Union, Tim Matheson, "Friday Night Lights"' Minka Kelly, "Veronica Mars"' Jason Dohring and "Six Degrees"' Jay Hernandez.
So, does this mean Silverado will never return to Beverly Hills for an appearance as Donna Martin's loving husband on the new "90210"? Not really. He told me he is down and could easily do both.
More importantly for "Terminator" fans, does Green's "Politic" casting signal that the fate of "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" is sealed? Not necessarily. No doubt BAG's involvement in "Politic" is in second position to "T:TSCC," meaning that if "T:TSCC" gets another season, that would be his first priority. Still, the fact that he's looking around is not a good sign for the FOX show.
No word yet on whether BAG will bless us with a couple killer West Bev spin moves on any of his current or future projects...
The cast of The CW's drama pilot "The Body Politic" starring "Friday Night Lights"' Minka Kelly, "Veronica Mars"' Jason Dohring and Tim Matheson continues to fill out.
The network confirms that Gabrielle Union, whom we last saw on TV in "Ugly Betty" (remember, as Wilhelmina's loony little sister) and who just began a multi-episode run on "Life," has been cast in "Politic" as a legislative aide to a congressman.
Her character will no doubt cross paths with Minka Kelly's Hope, the show's lead, who moves from Michigan to Washington where her estranged father (Matheson) is a U.S. senator who's just been tapped as Attorney General. Hope will take a position working under him.
Dohring will play a reporter for The Washington Post.
Jay Hernandez ("Six Degrees"), The CW verifies, will be on the series as well.

Hilary Duff certainly has good taste in TV. First she lands a guest spot on Ghost Whisperer, and now an NBC spokesperson confirms to E! News exclusively that the former Lizzie McGuire star will appear in an upcoming episode of Law & Order SVU.
But that's not the only news the rep spilled…
The rep also tells us that Mariska Hargitay will return to the set this Monday. (Phew!) She has been sidelined due to a collapsed lung. The episode, titled "Selfish," will air on April 28. Hilary's Ghost Whisperer episode airs April 9.

BILLIE Piper will return to Doctor Who with ALL the Time Lord’s former companions as part of David Tennant’s final episode.
Billie, 26, will again play Rose Tyler and teams up with other sidekicks Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman).
The trio will join forces to take on the Doctor’s revived arch-enemy The Master, played again by John Simm.
The episode sees the Timelord regenerate into the new Doctor (Matt Smith).
An insider said: “This will be the most exciting episode Doctor Who have ever done. We really wanted to get all the companions back on board as a fitting send-off to David.
“And of all the enemies for him to face in his final episode it makes sense for The Master to be the main one. Getting Billie to agree is a real coup, but she loved working on the show so much it didn’t take much convincing.”
Rose — who left after series two — formed the strongest bond with the Doctor out of the female companions. She returned for a few episodes in the last series where she was reunited with the Doctor.
Rose then returned to Earth with a separate half-human version of the Time Lord.
Since she left Doctor Who, Billie has gone on to star in the raunchy ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She plays a high-class hooker in the risque show, which is currently on its third series.
We revealed yesterday how her three brothers and sisters are embarrassed about her success.
David, 37, will quit the show after the last of the four specials.
Meanwhile the red London bus set to feature in the first special has been damaged in Dubai by schoolkids.

Actress Tamera Mowry's new 'Roommates' Former teen star gets grownup role in new ABC Family comedy about twentysomethings living in New York. (March 20)
"The Simpsons" had successfully secured a guest starring spot from former Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2003 but can it nab a favor from Barack Obama? The long-running FOX animated series has eyed the running U.S. President to join the show, providing voice for his cartoon character.
Should Obama agrees to this, then he will be the first president to appear on the show while in office. "We'd love to have Barack on the show," executive producers James L Brooks and Al Jean told The Sun's TV Biz. "No president has agreed to do it yet but we'll keep asking. We're putting all the right signals out."
The producers also want "very funny" British comedian Russell Brand who claimed his fame through "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and being the host for 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. "I would definitely be interested in writing an episode around him," Al said.
Not only that, the execs are crossing fingers for an appearance by ex-U.S. President George W. Bush.

Interview was aired this week- it was taped last week right before Nate was on Jimmy Kimmel. You can watch that interview HERE.
Thanks to Olivia and vamp926 for the heads up.
Suddenly, the cancer-induced ghost sex Izzie was partaking in on Grey's Anatomy isn't looking so preposterous.
As I previously reported, David Boreanaz' Bones alter ego will suffer a life-threatening health crisis this May that will cause him to hallucinate. Well, I can finally reveal the destination of his head trip: Quahog, Rhode Island. Put another way, Booth is getting a visit from Family Guy's acid-tongued baby villain, Stewie!
No joke!
"This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth's condition]," maintains executive producer Stephen Nathan, who declined to reveal the mystery ailment causing his visions. "It's not just a fantasy of ours. There's medical research to back up what's going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters."
But don't expect to see Emily Deschanel's Brennan sparring with the evil tot: The cartoon cameo will be limited to Boreanaz. "We were never going to have Stewie just walk into the lab and start talking to everybody -- that would be a bald and shameless crossover," Nathan adds with a laugh. "It was always conceived to be a realistic hallucination... one that would lead us to what we wanted to do with Booth and Brennan."
In case you've been living under a rock without Wi-Fi, what they want to do is get the two detectives in bed having sex in the May 14 season finale -- an event Nathan assures me will "not be a hallucination." But first, Brennan will ask Booth to father her child on May 7, a request that leads to Stewie's first of two appearances. "Stewie will be in the sperm donation room with Booth," explains Nathan, who says Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will sign off on all of Stewie's dialogue. "Whatever Seth wants to do is fine. As far as I'm concerned Stewie can sing!"
What do you think? Is this crossover too silly even for Bones? Or do you have faith that the ends (Booth's diagnosis on May 7) will justify the means (Stewie!) Sound off below!

So, apparently Booth and Bones may not hook up in this year's season finale after all. Whaa--? Why? Ask President Obama. I just found out our fearless leader is kind of a c-ck block.
Because of Obama's press conference next Tuesday, a few prime time scheduling tweaks must be made, and the "Bones" finale could end up being a casualty. Though FOX has not yet made a definite decision, word is, the romantic crime drama will lose an hour to "American Idol" since "Idol" obviously can't just cut an episode (I mean, as far as I'm concerned, they could actually reduce every single ridiculous results show to eight solid minutes... but you know what I'm saying).
This plan, which FOX is dead seriously considering right now, would push the much talked about "Bones" finale -- the episode in which we've been promised some no nonsense B&B bedroom action -- back to the start of next season.
So, thoughts? If this is something you hard core "Bones" fans can't possibly accept, you better start commenting, because FOX is apparently going to make a final ruling on this any time now...

It's official: Hit sitcoms "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" will remain on CBS for several years to come.
Eye and Warner Bros. TV announced the mega-order on Wednesday, although the deal had been rumored for some time. Under the new pact, "Two and a Half Men" has been given a three-season pickup, keeping the show on CBS through the 2011-2012 season, while "Big Bang Theory" has scored two more seasons, which will keep it on the Eye through 2010-2011.
News of the deal first leaked out earlier this month (Daily Variety, March 3). But before both sides could officially announce the pickup, CBS and Warner Bros. TV had to hammer out a resolution to their legal spat over the cost of "Two and a Half Men."
Warner Bros. filed a $49 million suit against CBS in December, arguing that CBS refused to pay sums it had agreed to hand over to the studio if "Two and a Half Men" turned into a hit.
Terms of a settlement haven't been revealed -- but it's likely the huge renewal is a direct result of the skirmish.
Such lengthy renewals are rare -- but then again, "Two and a Half Men" and "Big Bang Theory" are about as rare as they come: Multi-camera comedy smashes.
Thanks in part to the two shows, which hold down the 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. tentpoles on CBS' Monday night laffer lineup, that two-hour comedy block is up 13% this season in viewers and 9% with adults 18-49.
"Our collaboration with Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre for these two series has led to great entertainment for television audiences and has been very good business for CBS," said CBS Entertainment prexy Nina Tassler. "With these shows firmly in place, CBS is well-positioned for more comedy success in the years ahead."
Warner Bros. TV prexy Peter Roth thanked the net "for the support and long-term commitment they have made."
"We look forward to many more years of continued mutual success," Roth said.
"Two and a Half Men," which stars Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, Marin Hinkle, Conchata Ferrell and Holland Taylor, is TV's top-rated comedy, averaging 15.1 million viewers and a 5.1 rating/11 share with adults 18-49.
Lorre, Lee Aronsohn, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, Mark Burg, Oren Koules, Don Foster, Eddie Gorodetsky, Susan Beavers and Mark Roberts exec produce.
As for "Bang," which stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, show is averaging 10.1 million viewers and a 3.7/10 with adults 18-49. Lorre, Aronsohn and Bill Prady exec produce.

Law and Order SVU - Mariska Hargitay: Absent from 'SVU' for rest of season? Rep says no
Though "Law & Order: SVU"'s leading lady Mariska Hargitay returned to work after suffering from a collapsed lung in January, rumor has it that her latest trip to the hospital will force Hargitay to leave "SVU" for the remainder of the season.
The actress was rushed to the ER because of complications relating to her lung condition on March 3rd and In Touch Weekly is now reporting that, after undergoing surgery for said condition last week, Hargitay's recovery will force "SVU" producers to write her out of the show through spring.
Her people, however, have told me this is nothing but hearsay. "Mariska is recovering well and is returning to this show this season," a rep for the star insists. "She is only missing one episode."
So, thoughts? Would you continue watching "SVU" if Mariska went M.I.A. for a while? Are you relieved to hear she intends to be back on set shortly?

A new villain is coming to True Blood’s blood-loving, fictional Louisiana town of Bon Temps, and the vampires are not happy campers.
“There's a new supernatural creature in town, one I've never seen on TV,” says a source on the set of the HBO series. “Even vampires are scared of this thing. We'll be seeing a lot more of Eric (Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd) this year. Romance is in the air for most of our main characters, but as always with our show, nothing is ever what it seems.”
Drama also ensues when Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) take a business trip out of Bon Temps and find themselves in the middle of some sticky vampire politics, according to our source.
Want more scoop? OK, the dead person in the car is...
Just kidding. The source can’t tell us that! But we were told that episode five is being shot now, and 12 episodes are planned to start airing in either late June or early July. Also, there are a few new exciting actors on the show, including Valerie Cruz (Dexter), Anna Camp (Cashmere Mafia) and Ashley Jones (The Bold and the Beautiful). They join the previously confirmed Michelle Forbes, Mehcad Brooks and Deborah Ann Woll.
A few more surprises are set for down the line, but they're surprises—'nuff said.
What kind of supernatural creature do you think it'll be? Are you going to tune in this summer for its reveal? Send us your thoughts below.

Yes, the much-discussed sex scene between Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is going to happen in the Bones season-four finale. No, it is not a hallucination. And yes, oh yes, it could lead to something even bigger for the couple.
We just chatted up Bones bosses Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan, and as S.N. jokes, "We did some research and found out that sex is very closely related to having children. We were shocked ourselves."
So what does the sex mean for our fave twosome, and which beloved character is returning for the season finale? Here's what we know:
You longtime fans will be delighted to know that the writer-producers of Bones are taking this step forward seriously. As Hart says, "I think the audience will be very satisfied with the sex scene, and [the way] that it sets up the next season and the way things unfold between [Bones and Booth]."
So why the change of Hart after years of putting the kibosh on B&B? He tells us, "The fact is, when we started Bones, we knew that we would never have to face the day of reckoning of when to have Booth and Brennan consummate their affair, because no show ever goes that long. And now here we are. We have to pay the piper. I think it was about six months ago that Stephen and I just quietly between the two of us started talking about how we were going to contend with that huge, hanging sword of Damocles issue of their sex life."
And for the record, the baby issue is key to the decision, at least on Brennan's side. Stephen explains, "It started with the idea of Brennan—who has been so adamant about not wanting a child for so long—finally realizing that it might be good for her to have a progeny to have someone as brilliant as she in the world when she leaves. So she is thinking about having a child, and she realizes that Booth is genetically an excellent match for her." (Hell yes he is.)
Another hint that this knot of storylines leads to a wee B&B Jr.? When asked about future appearances by Booth's beloved son Parker, Hart says, "Yes, we will see Parker. Of course, Booth's family life, including his son, fit into our consequences coming up in season five." (Tell us we're wrong about this babies thing!)
As for the actual sex, they haven't shot the scene yet, but we have solemn promises that it is not the product of Booth's currently fevered imagination.
In other Bones news:
* If the script and deal work out, says Hart, "Zack's (Eric Millegan) in the season finale."
* Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Jack (T.J. Thyne) are still in love limbo. Says Hart, "Our plans don't include any fast resolutions to their relationship."
* Those of us who don't love Bones' new Thursday time slot might have to suck it up. Says Stephen, "The network is very happy with us on Thursday night. From their point of view, we're doing very, very well." [Grumble: OKThursdaysfine...)
Last but not least, if you will permit us a geeky, inside-baseball digression: According to his bosses, David Boreanaz kicked ass at directing tonight's all-new episode of Bones. When we asked about it, they waxed positively rhapsodic:
Stephen Nathan: With no, no blowing of smoke, he is a wonderful director. Wonderful.
Hart Hanson: I have already hurt his feelings by going up and telling him at how shocked I was at how very good a director he was. You hope that when an actor directs that, when the ep comes in, it's a competent show. He did not just a competent job, he did an artistic show. I would recommend him to people for pilots. The guy is a director. Stephen and I tip our hats to him.
S.N.: He was incredibly prepared, very thoughtful. It was really so impressive to see. He had so much to juggle—he had a large role in the show—and he just pulled off every aspect of it...I was thrilled. Thrilled when I saw the show. It was our kid at a piano recital, and he hit all the right notes.
Awww, can you feel the love?
Are you loving Bones this season? What are your thoughts on the Booth-Bones sexy times? Post in the comments!
