Vought Rising explores the origins of the Vought company in the 1950s, the nefarious Superhero management corporation from the multi-Emmy Award-winning series The Boys. It’s a twisted murder mystery about the early exploits of Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and the diabolical maneuvers of Stormfront (Aya Cash), who was then going by the name Clara Vought. Hot on their trail is a team of scrappy, insanely outgunned humans, who find themselves caught at the center of a grisly, salacious and action-packed saga, drenched in blood, sweat and Compound V.
Vought Rising will star Ackles and Cash, who will also serve as producers. Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ori Marmur, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Phil Sgriccia, Jim Barnes, Mark Winemaker, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers on the series. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film.
