Hey everyone, welcome to Part 2, there are roughly 130 castings on Part 1 of the Casting Newsreel so I thought it was time to start a brand new post.

As per usual, I'll try my best to update as fast as possible, some days it might be slower, please understand but always feel free to submit something you really want posted and we'll do our best to post. Triangle - Pallavi Sharda to Star in ABC's Bermuda Triangle Drama Pilot
Sharda will play Alex, David's (Vogel) girlfriend who is trying to connect with his teen daughter Natalie (Sarah Catherine Hook).

Martin will guest star as Harriet Grosset, a small-town psychic who offers her talents to help Nancy investigate a murder — and ends up delivering an otherworldly clue that neither of them bargained for.

Triangle - Amit Shah, Sibongile Mlambo, Diana Bermudez & Sarah Catherine Hook Join ABC's Bermuda Triangle Drama Pilot
Shah will play Dr. Owen Patel, another resident of the Triangle who has been here since 1988.

Mlambo will play Lieutenant Priscilla.

Bermudez will play Tama. Hook will play Natalie.

Friends-In-Law - Michael Urie, Zach Cregger, Vella Lovell & Gil Ozeri to Star in NBC Comedy Pilot
Urie will play Brian who fears that his best friend Margaret's (Lovell) potential marriage to Randy (Ozeri) will leave him left out. He forms an unlikely partnership with Randy's best friend, Jake (Cregger), to disrupt their union.

Cregger will play Jake, is handsome and a little too arrogant. Jake has been best friends with Randy since kindergarten, and he rejects the unwanted additions of Margaret and Brian in his life.

Lovell will play Margaret, a sweet, sarcastic middle school librarian who is looking forward to a lifelong relationship with Randy despite the objections of her best friend Brian and Randy's best friend Jake.

Ozeri will play Randy, lovable and optimistic and Jake's best friend since kindergarten. He is ready to live the rest of his life with Margaret, even if Jake does not support his choice.

Diaz will play Luis, a fastidious, impeccably dressed man with an impressive memory and the ability to do just about anything well. He is Miguel's assistant, driver and friend who will be forever loyal to him.

Super Simple Love Story (aka The Us Project) - Ronny Chieng & Susan Wokoma Join CBS Comedy Pilot
Chieng will play Harris, Kevin's (Walton) friend and former college roommate, an atheist without a filter who "loves to debate" and mostly ruins every social interaction by getting in his own way (and everybody else's).

Wokoma will play Abby. While friend and co-worker Morgan (Alderfer) agonizes over job and relationship fulfillment, Abby is happy to hate her job as long as the check clears, and hit on cute Rabbi Sarah without hesitation.

The Emperor Of Malibu - Taylor Louderman to Star in CBS Comedy Pilot
Louderman portrays Kate. A charming, easygoing classic California blonde, Kate's an intellectual property lawyer who urges her fiancé, Auggie (Willems) to tell his parents about their engagement — confident that they'll eventually get over the cultural differences and embrace the relationship. But that was before she actually met his parents.

Our House - Nancy Lenehan & Phil Hendrie to Co-Star in CBS Comedy Pilot
Lenehan will play Laura, Bridget's (Heigl) loving, passive-aggressive mother who feels like she no longer has a place in her family after her daughter renovates the childhood home she grew up in and raises her kids with a radically different parental style. Once Bridget and Laura learn to communicate better and commiserate over the difficulties of raising a family, their complicated relationship improves – and Bridget realizes she's not as different from her mother as she thought.

Hendrie will play Rory, Bridget's old-school, sometimes problematic father who spends his time trying to appease his wife Laura (Lenehan) – even if that means meddling in the lives of his children. Rory's adoration for his family is tested when he finds himself at odds with his daughter Bridget's new ""hippy dippy"" parenting style.

Moses will play Jerry London. This overbearing bureaucrat is a "political apex predator" who is openly contemptuous of Hollister and itching to drive him off the force.

Cartagena will play Amanda, a young, hip, self-assured, "gender-fluid" D.A. who's politically savvy & knows how to play the media. She gets her shot at the headlines when she becomes the lead prosecutor on the Bechley case.

Willems will play Auggie, an environmental lawyer with a degree from Stanford. Recently engaged to his college girlfriend, Kate, he's terrified of how his parents will react when they learn off the engagement.

To Whom It May Concern - Adhir Kalyan Joins CBS Comedy Pilot in Recasting Replacing Raymond Ablack
Kalyan will play Tanner, the high school best friend, loves Kate (Heelan) and the corner pierogi shop they run together but hopes that someday she'll relent to his white picket fence aspirations. When not creating pierogi fillings like White Chocolate Chicken Parm, he spends the rest of his day watching random male-grooming and lifestyle YouTube videos in his never-ending pursuit of becoming "the bon vivant of the Pittsburgh pierogi scene."

The Unicorn - Omar Benson Miller & Maya Lynne Robinson Join CBS Comedy Pilot
Miller and Robinson will play married couple Ben and Michelle, parents of four children. Ben is another of Wade's well-meaning friends, who is convinced Wade is ""going to crush it out there"" in the dating world. He is pumped to think that his friend finally is taking the big step.

Robinson plays Michelle, the anti-Delia (Watkins), a super laid-back mother of four kids who kind of have to fend for themselves. Keenly aware that women already are throwing themselves at Wade, Michelle is openly impatient with him when he waffles about trying dating for real.

Art Malik to Co-Star in ABC's Untitled Hannah Simone Comedy Pilot
Sid will play Hannah Simone's father, Side, a newly retired and a once-adventurous man who has fallen into a routine. He is still enthusiastic and gung-ho for all things American and fond of Western wear. Sid had moved to the United States so that his family could have a better life, and he is bursting with pride at Hannah's many accomplishments. However, all is not as it seems, and when Sid learns that Hannah is in pretty dire straits, he becomes razor-focused, calling on his keen organizational skills to make sure Hannah doesn't fall down on the job.

Katy Keene - Zane Holtz and Katherine LaNasa Join The CW's Riverdale Spinoff Pilot
Holtz will star as Ko Kelly, a boxer with two goals in life: To fight a welterweight championship in Madison Square Garden, and to marry his longtime girlfriend, Katy Keene. Born and raised in Queens, KO is a humble, protective, salt-of-the-earth guy who makes ends meet as a personal trainer and a bouncer.

LaNasa will play portray Gloria Grandbilt, a legendary personal shopper at the luxury department store Lacy's, catering to the rich and famous. Always impeccably dressed and the queen of her domain, she demands a level of excellence from her ""girls,"" young assistants that few can provide.

The Unicorn - Rob Corddry & Michaela Watkins to Co-Star in CBS Comedy Pilot
Corddry will play Forrest, one of Wade's (Goggins) good friends and married to the very opinionated, blunt and controlling Delia (Michaela Watkins), Forrest is tightly wound and a cerebral guy determined to look like a cool guy. Forrest encourages Wade to start dating again to help his friend find happiness, but may also be living a little vicariously through Wade's foray into the world of online dating.

Watkins will play Delia who takes the helm when Wade (Goggins) starts looking to date again, although sometimes that means activating her husband Forrest (Corddry) to do the dirty work. Appalled at the entropy that has set in at the house since Wade's wife died, she thinks it's important to come up with a concrete plan of action.

Village Gazette - Tommy Dewey to Star in NBC Comedy Pilot Presentation
Village Gazette centers on Amber (Ruffin), the editor of the Benson Village Gazette. She loves fluff pieces that demonstrate the idyllic nature of life in her hometown. When the newspaper owners hire Randall Westinghouse (Dewey), an arrogant big-city reporter who's looking to uncover a juicy story in Benson, he threatens to unravel the happy denial Amber has been living in.

Courthouse - Lindsay Mendez & Ruthie Ann Miles Join CBS Legal Drama Pilot
Mendez will play Sara, an ebullient, optimistic court reporter who has surprising hidden talents. A close friend to Emily, Sara hosts the Courthouse poker games and is a reliable source for gossip and courthouse intel.

Miles will portray Sherri. As Lola's Judicial Assistant, Sherri is The Gatekeeper; she controls the schedule, the witness lists, the flow of paperwork — everything. She can make defendants sit in the lockup and wait all day for the next appearance, or she can find a way to get them in and out before her morning coffee gets cold. Efficient, pragmatic and armed with wickedly dry sense of humor, Sherri isn't thrilled she has to ""train"" Lola (Simone Missick) — a rookie judge.

Richards will play Ben, an insecure and endearing young assistant who develops a workplace crush on Marco (Pierce).

Missick will play Lola. Over the course of her impressive career as a Deputy District Attorney, Lola was known to be independent, formidable and, occasionally, wildly impulsive. As a newly appointed Judge, Lola suddenly has more power. So, she doesn't sit back on the bench; Lola leans in — immediately pushing boundaries and challenging expectations of what a judge should be.

Croner will play Fisher, who works for Bill at the Muffler Men auto repair shop across the street, but hangs out at Patty's whenever he can. Because he's raising two little girls on his own, he is determined to figure out what a feminist is and become one.

Weber will play Elliot, an upbeat salesman who knows too many facts about things you don't care about.

Reisgraf will play Isabelle, a rational, smart, affable beauty and mother trying to navigate a divorce and just wants the best for her son.

Self will play Kevin, an earnest, avuncular, gay accountant with a sense of humor and is a good friend.

Park will play Kate. She's a mellow and fun mom with an easygoing sensibility and loyal to her friends.

Thune will play Jimmy, a wiry, aloof, singer/guitar player and aging rock star who drank too much, partied too much, and enjoys the lifestyle. But he's surprisingly sweet, thoughtful, and a good listener.

Richie will play Kelli, Richard's publicist, a high-functioning millennial who is Richard's polar opposite in every way except one: they both like to keep their eyes on number one – themselves.

Passmore will play Liam, a dark, rash and complicated member of the land's ruling family.

Our House - Katherine Heigl to Star in CBS Comedy Pilot
Heigl will play Bridget. She tries her best to be a laid-back, progressive parent like her therapist husband, but often finds herself reverting to the old school style of her parents. Now that she's moved back into her childhood home, surrounded by her parents and crazy siblings, finding a balance between these wildly different parenting styles is going to be more difficult than she imagined.

United We Fall - Will Sasso & Christina Vidal to Star in ABC Comedy Pilot
Sasso will play Bill, a confident, analytical yet funny and emotional father and husband. Bill and his wife, Jo, both have college degrees, great careers, and a solid, loving marriage. However, since having their second kid, they can barely make it out the door. He tries to hold it together because he loves his family more than anything, and, deep down, he knows his wife is slightly too cool to be with him.

Vidal will play Jo, the youngest of ten siblings, who is not a ""traditional"" mom. Although she is a strong female role model for her kids, she’s cool, sarcastic, and does things her own way, often bringing her into conflict with other parents and her own extended family.

Craig will play Shiatzy. A terrifying force of nature, Auggie's (TBD) mom is sophisticated, a little eccentric and strong-willed. Outraged that Auggie chose his fiancée without her, she does her best to keep Kate (also known as "that one") (TBD) at a distance.

Phillippe will play Escher, a San Francisco police investigator who was presumed dead after an attack and destructive fire at his home. Six months later, he shockingly reappears and is reunited with his wife, Elizabeth (Law). But something has changed. A shadow has fallen across his sunny disposition, and he's haunted by visions of the case he was working on when he died. He and Elizabeth will seek answers about who shot and abducted him, and what was done to him.

Law will play Elizabeth Lavenza, a pathologist/medical examiner who is stunned when her husband (Phillippe) returns from the dead and though she's thrilled to have him back, she knows there's a secret behind his disappearance, his reappearance and his new personality – and she thinks she knows exactly who's responsible.

Staton will play Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant, slightly odd and driven – perhaps obsessed – scientist who is working on a secret, cutting-edge project. On the run from an ethics board in China, Victor is back in the U.S. where he works in a lab and is very involved in whatever it is that's going on with Escher (Phillippe). He's also Escher's wife's (Law) ex.

Martinez will play Raul, the winery's enigmatic riddler. Nobody knows Napa's terroir like he does – he specializes in collecting dirt on everyone.

Roden will play Sienna, Felix's not-so-regular sister who is determined to save the world, one endangered animal at a time; hopefully using her family's moolah.

Alderfer will play Morgan, a self-described ""bailer"" who has drifted from job to job and now in her 30s, is experiencing alarm bells about getting serious about life. She's concerned that her current job at a ""click-hungry"" website is making the world worse, and that her jiujitsu-crazed boyfriend (Young) may not be the one. Then she meets Kevin (Walton), and the next decade of her life is transformed.

Walton will play Kevin, a recently divorced father of two teenage girls (Vanessa and Laura Marano). Normally secure and loyal, Kevin is still heartsick over his ex – though he won't admit it – and has been adrift since the split. Then he meets Morgan, and their tangled romantic relationship begins.

Cassidy will play Kellen. Everything about Kellen just works. Always cool, calm and collected. The clothes. The cool hair. Has a mortgage, HAS BEEN TO FRANCE. He went to high school, college and interned with Evan at the factory. Good-natured, he genuinely wants to help Evan even though Evan clearly has perceived him as a rival.

Dearden will play Croz. Playfully sardonic, Croz has been living her best life since coming out in college. As Evan's co-worker and wing-lady, she's on the frontlines, night and day, encouraging him to follow suit.

Villafañe will play Lea Carter, an elementary school English teacher, who's breezy and cool – like the Pittsburgh weather never is. Life decisions have always come easily, but when she reconnects with Evan and friends, she wonders for the first time if there's more out there. The ever-smitten Evan has hoped that means him… since 9th grade.

Boafo will play Briana Logan, a private investigator who works for Elijah's firm.

Courthouse - Marg Helgenberger Joins CBS Legal Drama Pilot
Helgenberger will play Judge Judith who broke the glass ceiling by becoming one of the rare female judges in California. Originally a progressive voice from the bench, over time she has become an entrenched member of the judicial establishment. As Supervising Judge, Judith is a powerful and influential figure who oversees Lola's transition to judge — and through that relationship, she will rediscover her passion for justice.

It's a comedy about the big questions: What makes a marriage last? Do people ever really change? And, after 40 years together, why can't we pick a place for dinner without it turning into a whole, you know, "thing"?

Taylor will play Dudik, Buddy's (Fierro) deputy, Treat "The Dude" Dudik, the somewhat dim, brutal, blindly loyal fixer who always returns to his master's side for another kick.

Fierro will play Buddy, the brilliant, manipulative Mayor of Los Angeles, who becomes a rival for power with Abigail "Tommy" Thomas (Falco), the city's first female police chief.

Parrish will play Felix, Napa's most eligible bachelor and heir apparent to his family's winery. Though Felix's future looks bright, he is tortured by the secrets of his past.

Tippett will play Lucius King, Rachel's second chair.

Neustaedter will play Michael Jamison. Hard to tell if he's a bit unstable or just masterfully playing everyone.

Moore will play young Liz (Ellis).

Charles will play young Phoebe (Newsome).

Nana - Ben Lawson to Star in ABC Comedy Pilot in Recasting Replacing Josh Cooke
Nana centers on Alex (Lawson), a fire chief in Indianapolis and an obsessive dad, who after the death of his wife, is forced to invite his brash and bawdy mother-in-law – Nana (Sagal) – into his home to help raise the two granddaughters she barely knows.

The recasting was made after the pilot's table read which triggered a substantial reworking of the script. Sagal as the title character was very well received, a number of other elements underwent changes, including the male lead character Alex.
