  1. Personally, I am looking forward to the show's return. The mid portion of last season was weak, but the final episodes were really awesome I felt. I am generally very entertained with the show, I don't really care about all the hate it gets.

  2. I'm curious to see how it all ends up. And if we'll get answers on what the Dome really was.

  3. The problem with this show during the second season was that it became directionless and almost a chore to watch each week. They also made Big Jim into a random, generic bad guy that goes on killing sprees for absolutely no reason. One moment he's like, guys forgive me I've changed, the next he's killing people like he's the guy from the Postal videogames. With Big Jim, they need to either keep him evil and nonredeemable as a bad guy, or kill him off. At no point during Season 3 should he be welcomed back into the fold among team good guys after what he's done in the Season 2 finale, it would make the show even more ridiculous.

The book buildup for Big Jim's character was good. His supporting characters played off well right up to the end. Must say the book ending was just weird. Not Big Jim's ending, just the explanation for the Dome. Also seemed a little rushed at the end. King is a master of pacing, the slow burn of horror. Just not always spot on for the finale.

  5. This is what I am always saying. For me, the journey is where his writing excels. The climax and denouement, not so much. But the journey is so good I can't be mad.
