  1. Has anyone been watching The Royals? I accidentally got hooked. It finished its first season tonight.

  2. Family guy was funny tonight I laughed it was great to have only 18 episodes this season

  3. American Odyssey was so good.. once again.
Still don't get why the ratings have been falling.... I mean a 0.4?

  4. Are ther any Nurse Jackie fans out there? I absolutes love that show and I'm so sad it's ending! Tonight's episode's been really great. Zoey, Thor and Akalitus getting arrested was pretty funny and the end hat me on the edge of my seat hoping for Jackie not to start using again.

  5. VEEP: It definitely was more of a transnational episode, I felt, so a bit slower than usual, but it was still great.
Amy and Dan trying to get their groove back and get back in the game has been great. Also they need to jump each others bones as soon as possible. It's time I think... plus, he's totally in love with her and it's super cute!
Seeing Tom James and how different he is from Selina is also very intiguing. Can't wait to see his shining armour crack. I think he might have a gambling problem... which, if indeed he does and it is his only vice, and he is otherwise a lovely, genuine, loveable guy, might be interesting contrast.
Lastly the Jonah/Richard pairing has been inspiring! It's been a great season overall.

Battle Creek: I really do love this show. Officially now super bummed it got canceled :(
But both episodes were great however, and finally we got some good Holly/Russ moments.
But I think you guys listed it as a "double episode finale" and I'm pretty sure there's one more episode left...

American Odyssey: Honestly I've reached a point where I don't know why I'm watching this anymore... but I'm too far in now, and curious to see how the conspiracy resolves itself. Other than that however I think the show it super weak. The plotting is most of the time juvenile and the characters either grating or just dumb.

  6. Re Veep: Dan and Amy definitely need to hook up soon. And Selina will probably regret picking someone who is too good. Richard has been a welcome addition, his lines always make me laugh.

  7. I like the conspiracy aspect of it a lot: as in I genuinely am curious to see how everything connects.

But there are a lot of things that I find just aren't working. The majority of the characters are pretty one dimensional, and most of the character and "drama and angst" moments feel a bit forced.

A lot of the plotting sloppy and quite a bit of the dialogue is juvenile.

And I feel a lot of what is happening is more conveniently convoluted and contrived rather than being smart narrative choices and twisty.

  8. I do think this will be the season Amy and Dan finally get it on. She's the only person he talks to like an actual person. He's the only person who can calm her down. They are out of Selina's grasp... it's reached it's boiling point!

I think Selina has already regretted picking Tom... and it's been so fun see her regret her choice because he is in fact a good choice! LOL!

I'm loving Richard. They've incorporated him so nicely into the fold. I don't think there's a thing he says that doesn't make me laugh either. And most of the times it's just because of how his personality contrasts everyone else...Brilliant addition to the show!

  9. It's funny how Selina was constantly trying to leave a bigger impression than him without much success. And the fact that she was trying to woo him makes matters even worse.
