Hey All,

With the old TV season over and a new one getting closer, we are looking at increasing our coverage of various shows. So we are putting out a call for writers to join our team here at SpoilerTV.

We're looking for writers to write reviews of new episodes after they air (normally within 48hrs of them airing in the USA). The shows we're currently looking to cover in addition of our already covered shows are.

American Crime Story, Ash vs the Evil Dead, Chasing Life, Chicago Med, Childhoods End, Complications, Criminal Minds, Dark Matter, Dominion, Into the Badlands, Masters of Sex, Minority Report, Proof, Public Morals, Recovery Road, Rizzoli and Isles, Scandal, Stitchers, The Expanse, The Knick, The Last Ship, The Magicians

If you are interested in writing episode reviews for any of the above shows, or are interested in writing show specific articles for the above shows then please fill out the simple form below and we'll be in contact with you shortly if you are successful. We're looking for people who have the time and dedication to commit to doing regular reviews of the show(s) they like.

Please don't submit if you think you won't be able to commit to a full season.

This is an unpaid gig but a chance to expose your writings/site to 1000's of people worldwide. We average around 10 Million Pageviews per month during the main TV Season (See our Stats here).

Successful writers will also have the chance to have conference calls with actors and writers when the opportunities arise as well as access to screeners of episodes before they air including pilot shows and specials.

You can also get press passes and VIP access through us for various events such as Comic-Con and other events as well has having the chance to be invited onto set visits.

You will also have access to the SpoilerTV Teams Private Community where the Team discuss ideas/suggestions for new articles as well as being able to participate in putting your own ideas forward and joining in featured articles such as the Scene of the Week, Memorable Moment of the Week and Quote of the Week articles, as well as other "Roundtable" discussion articles.

You will also be able to promote your own sites/blogs/twitter etc. in your articles via your own Author Box at the end of each article, as well as having your own Author page and being listed on the "Meet the Team" page.

Also, if your application is successful, you will also have the possibility of writing articles for other shows not listed above where space is available.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments below.

NOTE: The submission form will be kept open until we have a significant number of applicants. We will notify all respondents personally via email if their submission has been successful within 1 Week of the submission form being closed.

( and if a space becomes available for The Originals I'll take it as that is my dream 'gig' )

  2. Good luck to everyone who is applying!

  3. I'd love to do Dark Matter but with my health situation i cannot depend on having good days... :(

  4. Hope you get better.

  5. "I call "The Last Ship". ;)" Well at least you didn't say dibs :D

I'm just teasing. I really hope you get it :)

  6. -lol-

Me to Koky ... ME TOO !!!

  7. Scandal and American Crime Story (◡‿◡✿)

Good luck to anyone who is applying, and let’s hope the 2015/2016 television year is a great one (as cliché as this sounds haha).

  8. To all people applying, I did this last year and I am so glad I did. It's been a great experience with SpoilerTV and I've had so many special moments. As an incentive, I've had so many celebrity interactions on Twitter and chances to meet stars of shows thanks to the site, so if you're wondering whether you should apply, just go for it! It's a fantastic opportunity :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Probably not qualified, but hey, at least I gave it a shot!

    ReplyDelete
  10. There are so many new exciting shows coming out that I'm sure it is going to be great
    good luck guys

    ReplyDelete
  11. SO PSYCHED FOR LEGENDS OF TOMORROW!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. AND supergirl
I love all the superhero line ups

    ReplyDelete
  13. Thank you! I love to write and read and analyze, so regardless if I get the position or not — I’m still pumped.

    ReplyDelete
  14. You actually met stars of shows? That's amazing. I know you interacted with them on Twitter, which is already cool.

    ReplyDelete
  15. He went to the Syfy Press Tour last year.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yup what Babar said. I went to the Syfy Press Tour in Orlando (my first time ever flying to another country by myself and first time in America too, best time of my life!) and met the starts of several Syfy shows. There are other opportunities through SpoilerTV where you can meet stars such as the press access to Comic Con and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Haha I'm reviewing Scream Queens for SpoilerTV this year so I totally relate to that comment :P

Experience is always handy but if you show enough passion for the shows you love and why you would be great at SpoilerTV, how you will contribute, those are always great tools to have for this application.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Good luck everyone! It's a wonderful experience to write for SpoilerTV!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Awesome! I can't wait to see how Scream Queens is gonna turn out
I really liked the Coven-y vibe and the cast line up seems very good
    Thanks for the tips!

    ReplyDelete
  20. What are the chances?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Even if you've never written an article ANYWHERE?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yep. I joined with no prior experience.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow and i love your reviews, but i doubt i'll get it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I too joined without having any experience. As time goes by, you'll get the hang of it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks but i doubt i'll get picked.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh, that's interesting to know. What made they think you could write articles then? Tell us your secret :D

    ReplyDelete
  27. 100% DarkUFO's decision, so I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  28. So he's the ringleader? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  29. J.J. Francesco28 May 2015 at 13:23

Geez, now I'm tempted. Not sure though. Do the reviews have to stick to a certain formula? I think I could do this but not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nope, you can chose any type of review that you like.

    ReplyDelete
  31. No, not really. Various reviewers do things in different ways. Much better to be different than stick to a boring repetitive formula, or at least that's what I think :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. We have many different writers, and each one has his or her own style. So there is no need to stick to a formula. Have a look at the Recent reviews side bar to see how different the reviews are written.

Which would be good because one of the things I'm not sure I could get into is the very detailed recaps I see here. (Which is impressive that so many remember so many details. XD) I could do brief recaps but when it comes to reviews, I'd probably write closer to the kind I like to read. Shorter and more reaction driven. If that makes any sense.

Another thing might be that I do already write for another website. It's a music website and only right now dabbles in TV from a Christian angle but wouldn't want any conflicts there.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ha lol. Personally, I really enjoy writing so I just wanted to try it out. Looking back at my early reviews, I would have done them differently if I were writing them right now.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Same here. I was reading through my first two reviews a little while back and some of the stuff I wrote just made me cringe.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fingers crossed then. That'd be nice to write in English for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  38. They paid for your plane tickets as well? Lucky you. That sounds like an amazing experience all around.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Same here.

Can't believe there will be seven DC based series on the air this coming season and possibly nine the following season.

( Arrow, Gotham, iZombie, Legends of Tomorrow, Lucifer, Supergirl, & The Flash ... Blackbirds { Teen Titans } & Preacher )

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preacher_(TV_series)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preacher_(comics)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I figured that was probably unlikely, but it's still awesome if anyone decides to travel to the States to be able to participate in all that.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thank You very much Babar.

    ReplyDelete
  42. So basically i got no chance?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm sorry to hear this. I hope you have more good ones then bad ones Laura.

    ReplyDelete
  44. No Chance - No, Less of a Chance - Yes.

The last few years we've have people join the team who had no previous experience in writing articles.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I guess that's something, thanks, not holding my breath though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's hard to choose when I haven't even seen the pilot of some of these shows but still the one Im most attracted to is "recovery road" I hope it is done properly and they dont make a joke out of such an important topic.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Good luck everyone!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year with SpoilerTV, great experience. It's a fantastic opportunity.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I wish that I could but I'm not sure if I'm a qualified writer.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I applied! Good luck to everyone else who submitted! :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. As DarkUFO says in the post and below, you don't need to have any experience (though if you do then that's great). There are no qualification requirements :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. And you are doing an extremely great job. Well deserved! ^^

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh my god! I had no idea the pilot was out
so tempted to check it out

    ReplyDelete
  53. Trying out my luck here. I also was planning on applying for EW's community beta page but the process there seem very complicated compared to here.

    Good luck to every applicant!

    ReplyDelete
  54. J.J. Francesco28 May 2015 at 14:50

I currently write for NewReleaseTuesday.com (Although the name/link is gonna be changed ever-so-slightly in another week or so. ;) ) We specialize in Christian Music coverage of various kinds and we dabble a bit in Christian movies and TV show coverage. (Speaking of which, I am behind on my A.D. reviews. XD)

So I've definitely become somewhat acquainted with producing content for web publication. I just want to make sure it's all okay with them if I apply and then I might just consider doing it. Lots of work transitions coming up but this could be something else to have done if it works out.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thanks so much! I hope it's your year too :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Phoenix Rising28 May 2015 at 14:59

I applied for Criminal Minds.. Have written several reviews for another blog... Would love to be able to put the same in depth critique out there for Spoiler TV.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yeah I paid it all myself but I couldn't pass up the opportunity, and it was incredible. And I always love hearing your opinions on shows, I would definitely read your reviews of shows I also watch as you do have great thoughts that make me really think about the episode too. I wouldn't worry too much about English and grammar as there are writers on here whose first language isn't English, so don't be put off by that :) It is a big commitment but I've found that I could fit in reviewing shows to my regular schedule by just making a little room, so if you do have some room to spare, I say go for it :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well, it still sounds like a really cool experience, even if you paid for it yourself.

I have no idea how to write reviews, I'm probably better at riffing off someone else's review or discussing things they brought up. But thank you, I really enjoy your reviews and the discussion on the Salem posts.

The only show I'd probably want to review is Dominion, since I'm already watching it. I'll think about it, there's also like formatting issues and working with different doc formats.

I need to think about this, but thanks for the encouragement.

    ReplyDelete
  59. So I came here to give a testimonial, but I see that @Gavin Hetherington already beat me to it.

I will just say for anyone just considering it but a bit nervous. Just do it. @DarkUFO and the senior staff are really respectful and run this site really well to where they don't feel like overlords but really great friends you love to have helping you and shaping you. I had taken a step back from writing anything, a decision I regretted as I let my 9 to 5 take precedence. Simply applying to write for SpoilerTV and getting the chance to share my views on shows and contribute to the site have really been worth it and have slowly opened me back up creatively. The SpoilerTv community is awesome and we will welcome you with open arms. Don't be afraid, just go for it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Great comments @Winston Mize

    ReplyDelete
  61. I have a question- do you have to provide your actual name or can you give the name you go by on line?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Either will do, as long as you use a valid email address :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. I chose Scandal! I have been wanting to write something for spoilertv for a long time show. Since there is a probability that scandal will have a creative reboot, it would be such a great experience and opportunity to review it

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thanks to this, I did it. This is a great post.

    ReplyDelete
  65. It was leaked a week ago or so.
I say go for it. Why not decide if you like it now rather then waiting until all the new shows air and your swamped with things to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The book the show is based on is really good with the potential for the lead actress to breakout like Italia Ricci did for Chasing Life last year. ABC Family has a good track record for their dramas with serious issues (SAB,the Fosters, Chasing Life). Those shows might have done story lines I did not care for but I dont recall them not treating any of the issues they are dealing with anything but respect.

    ReplyDelete
  67. You get my vote!

Guys take him! He's always highly informed and very great to deal with. He'd be a perfect correspondant :D

(if it's possible I call dibs on Ash vs. The Evil Dead)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Yay, glad you've went for it. If you're successful, you can always ask me for any help you may need. Same goes for everyone who is successful, sometimes you just need someone to give that push and motivation. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  69. If you're successful in your application then we'll walk you through formatting posts etc and there is always people that you'd be able to ask if you got stuck :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. Good luck! I'd like to see your insight on the show :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Thanks for the offer, if I get it, I may end up taking you up on it, since I've never done anything like this before. And thanks for all your advice, motivation and support here (not just to me, to everyone). Sometimes all you need is a push, as long as it's not off a cliff without a rope. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Ha, Gavin also beat me to it xD.

Well, from someone who has been at this for 2 full seasons, I can only say the same thing you guys have said: "Go ahead!". There's briefining and guidance, and we are all ready to help you out if needed. I mostly learnt from experience how to write for the site and it has been awesome, one of the best experiences of my life. Not to mention my English has improved sharply, and it's all thanks to the team and the readers willingness to help me out with it.

So go ahead! We'll be waiting for you with open arms :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thanks, dunno if I'll even get in, but on the off chance that I do, it's good to know someone will be there to help out, especially at first.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Winston Mize @Pablo Troncoso you snooze, you lose haha. It's cool, the more testimonials the better :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Thanks. You get my vote too Mac Elijah Malcolm Merlyn-Mikaelson.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Applied for Minority Report - good luck to all who applied!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think my anxiety level will kill me. My blood pressure isn't the same since I submited my application.

Without sounding like a kiss a*s, I really think this is another great example how wonderful the STV community is.

Wishing everyone a bunch of luck!

    ReplyDelete
  78. wikia synergy :P

    ReplyDelete
  79. Good luck! And I hope even if you're not successful, you'll continue to be a great member of the community :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. I will not be able to apply this year, but I might next year. Good luck to all the applicants!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Thx
Don't worry, at times I think I'm more addicted to STV than to some of my shows. I love it here. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  82. I would apply but I have a feeling my reputation isn't exactly the greatest. ;) The only show I'm even slightly interested in on that list is Stitchers and even then I'm not too sure about it. Hopefully there will be better options next year. If only Supergirl was on the list.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Adding on to the well wishes for you. I hope things start looking up for you very soon.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The network paying for it would be about the only way I could afford to do something that cool, unless I miraculously won the lottery :p. But if they can afford to do that for any fans, at least those here in the States, that's pretty awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I threw my name in, too, for "Criminal Minds". I've only ever written music reviews (for a now defunct site, Epinions), but I can certainly write at length about that particular show if my comments in the discussions about it are anything to go by :p.
I hadn't considered the document issue. I imagine that's something that can be sorted out if you get accepted, though-they can talk about it with the reviewers and let them know what formats work best.
Good luck to you and anyone else who applies for this! Even if I haven't watched the shows listed I may still read some of the reviews from those who are hired anyway-maybe your reviews will inspire me to check out some of these shows :)!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ooh, that's rather reassuring. I like that-obviously writing experience is helpful, sure, but it is nice that this site also takes into account fans' general passion for the shows they love, too, and gives those who haven't had previous experience a chance as well.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Haha, I think every writer, no matter what it is they write, has been there :D. I've always said anyone else's critique of my writing can't possibly be any harsher than my own, LOL. I am definitely my own worst critic.
But hey, it's important to have the ability to look back at your work and spot your weaknesses and find out where you can improve or have improved, right :)?

    ReplyDelete
  88. I admire anyone who tries writing in a new language. I grew up speaking English and I won't deny it can be a very complicated language! So those of you who take the time to learn it and practice writing it, massive kudos.

    ReplyDelete
  89. The special perks certainly didn't hurt in terms of me making the decision to apply, no :D. Ultimately I think this would be a great chance to hone my writing skills, but it would be awesome to have those opportunities you note, too.

    ReplyDelete
  90. This looks like so much fun! This are the times I wish I was a good writer but I am going to apply :) Lets see where this leads to.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Good luck! I quit watching Criminal Minds a few years ago and I have no idea if I'll check any of the new shows out or not, so I wouldn't want to commit to reviewing any of them. I figured Dominion would be better for me, since I already watch the show.

Good luck to everyone applying, may the odds be ever in your favor. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  92. I have no chance in hell to get any of the perks, since I don't live in the States, but like you, I'm hoping it would give me a chance to hone my writing skills.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞28 May 2015 at 18:48

I've applied for Scandal. I really hope that I can become a writer it would be a dream come true!!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I'm glad I could help! Good Luck!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞28 May 2015 at 19:17

Same here. Now that I've applied all I can think about is whether or not I will be a writer for STV! Fingers crossed this would be such an amazing experience!

    ReplyDelete
  96. I would love to do this.. and I love Chasi ng Life so that would be so awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yep. Really weird feeling. As far as I remember last year Andy emailed me with his decision a day or two after the contest opened. So be patient, they won't torture us too long. ^_^

I didn't see U much around here larely. Everything Ok?

    ReplyDelete
  98. Wow, we have SO much in common! I love and miss revenge too and in addition, would like to review Scandal

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thank you!
Heh, I just got into the show a couple years ago :p. But it's been so much fun playing catch up.
I'm the same way with the new shows. I hesitant to commit to reviewing any of them until I've seen enough episodes to get a feel for them. If I check out any of them, that is. But it'd be a good challenge for those willing to take that on, for sure.
Like you, though, best to stick with a show I'm comfortable with and knowledgeable about :D.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Aw, I'm sorry. Maybe there'll be another way for you to do some of that fun stuff someday. Hope the writing aspect of things goes well should you get hired, though!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Put myself forward. Would love to be able contribute, sounds like such an awesome opportunity. Even if I don't get in, thanks for giving us the chance :).

    ReplyDelete
  102. Being a writer for 2 years now here and I can only recommend you to apply. It's an unique and great experience. I'm really loving it. DarkUFO and the staff are very friendly and helpful. So don't worry, I still don't really understand html code and all, yet I can publish my articles :)
Writing for SpoilerTV is really an amazing opportunity. It can be quite time consuming sometimes but it'll give you a chance to connect with other fans and also with some actors & writers. So don't hesitate, apply :)

    ReplyDelete
  103. It's ok, I'm used to it, so I know not to expect anything. But maybe there are other fun stuff to do on line, like interact with people. Thanks, hope the same for you, if you get hired.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Oh god 70 applicants. Since I have no experience so far and many probably have, I will probably not make it. But it is still so great that we have the opportunity to even Apply :)

    ReplyDelete
  105. I think I quit during S6, but if you're still enjoying the show, then that's cool and you'd probably have fun reviewing it, should you get hired.

I'm very picky about new shows and tend to wait on reviews and early reactions before committing to them, so I definitely wouldn't want to agree to review them without knowing if I'd like them and want to watch a whole season of them, but for those who can, all the power to them, some people might rely on their reviews to decide if they'll try the show or not.

    ReplyDelete
  106. J.J. Francesco28 May 2015 at 21:21

Well, might as well give it a try. Worst that can happen is I don't get picked, right? XD (And still get to read all the great stuff here.)

    ReplyDelete
  107. I've been a SpoilerTV writer and contributor for over a year. My 2-year anniversary will come in mid-September. It's been such an excellent experience for me and I am happy to be apart of this. It's help me take criticism better and helped me write better. Also, it's helped my HTML skills improve more. I am forever grateful to be part of this team. I wish you all the best with the process.

    ReplyDelete
  108. My prayers go out to you. I hope you feel better.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Oh, I really hope you feel better soon

    ReplyDelete
  110. Did you apply for CM? Because it would be amazing if we could flip the tables and you would be the one reviewing and I would be the one commenting. :D

    ReplyDelete
  111. Writing for SpoilerTV is such a great privilege. The entire staff is very warm and welcome, and very approachable if you have any questions at all. On that note, I am very glad I decided to drop Criminal Minds for this season. I would much rather give someone else a chance to review it, and besides, I already have other shows I'm reviewing this year. I definitely made the right decision.

Good luck to whomever gets to review it! Know that I will be in the comments section every time :D

    ReplyDelete
  112. Good luck to all the applicants.

I joined the team almost two years ago and it's been a wonderful experience. The team is incredibly nice and you pick up on many different things along the way. I can't speak for every member of the team but for me personally, being part of this team improved my English, touch-typing and HTML knowledge.

And to all the despondent comments: Keep your head high, I didn't have any writing experience at all and made it in. If I can make it, you can too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. 70 applicants already! I hope for you they don't want to review the same series :')

    ReplyDelete
  114. I'd absolutely love to do this, but unfortunately I just have too much on my plate to also dedicate part of my week to putting together a proper review. Maybe next year?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Ugh! This is where I kick myself for not buying a new laptop! I so need a new one. I would've loved to do this.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Application send. I actually didn't add my social media profiles, because A) Twitter takes up a lot of time, so i stopped using it, and B) it's not in English anyway.
And a question, do networks actually send screeners on DVD, or it's a digital access, like through networks's press site or iTunes?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Most screeners are a combination of DVD or on-line screening rooms. For DVD we distribute them as files to the reviewers

  118. Really great to see the passion and enthusiasm for writing for spoiler. I joined several seasons ago and love it. For those worried about the technical aspect of posting you needn't be. DarkUFO and the team have created and continually update marvellous "how to" guides and practise areas, as well as being very sympathetic and extremely helpful to technology Luddites like me. You don't need to worry about that.
Another thing on the subject of experience, while I do not have any influence over the decision if I were applying and I had no experience I might sit down right now and bang out a sample review of one of the shows. It won't guarantee a job but it certainly wouldn't hurt your chances if you show what you can do. Good luck.

  119. Nice. Do they have subtitles/CC? I always wondered this.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Not normally. The only time would be when some dialogue was being said in non-English

Is there a space open to review Rupaul's Drag Race? Because I think it's a fun, campy show with an incredibly devoted community with too few sites that actually post reviews of it. If there's no spot available that's fine, I just think it's brought a transgressive subculture closer to the mainstream and has been a very mind-opening show for me and the rest of its viewers. Besides, it seems to have a certain self-awareness that other reality tv shows lack.

  123. When Shadowhunters airs. I will give you a call ;)
Good luck for those who are doing it!

  124. Good luck to all the applicants!

Have been wanting to write for the last couple years - maybe this year will be the year I finally get that blog going and would have more than a snowballs chance in hell at getting picked for next year!

LOL. That's basically what I'm thinking too. With all these applicants and my lack of experience I figured I had no shot. I also figured it didn't hurt to apply though;)

    Good luck to ya!

Well, with all these applicants and my lack of experience, I figured I have no shot. I also figured it didn't hurt to try.

    Good luck to everyone;)

Wow that's great! I would really love to review Scndal especially after that finale! Excited to see what happens next!

Often I read through the comments on all the spoiler posts but don't post that much! Also the last few weeks have been very busy! Ok I'll be patient I have my fingers crossed that I am able to become a writer! I should have applied to more shows, however Scndal was the only one I watch and knew. It's too bad:(

  130. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞29 May 2015 at 12:50

Yeah no worries I'll be posting a lot from now on! How has CSI cyber done this year?

    ReplyDelete
  131. No clue, I watched the premier and was highly disappointed and didn't watch later. I didn't connect and later I was overflowed with shows, sweeps and stuff so couldn't catch up.
Rating wise it went between solid and poor, and I know everyone was surprised by the renewal.

  132. Goodbye Revenge, ∞x∞29 May 2015 at 13:22

Ah. Yes I always have so many shows to watch and never enough time. Do you watch any of the other NCIS shows?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Thanks! I cannot wait to see your "Scream Queens" reviews as I, myself, am interested in what Ryan Murphy is up to next. :)

    ReplyDelete
  134. Thanks for this opportunity and I'm excited to see all these shows being reviewed - this is looking to be a epic of a year for TV show fanatics (like myself...), "American Crime Story" is definitely going to be I terestig

    ReplyDelete
  135. SpoilerTV doesn't cover reality shows unfortunately, but I agree on your comments of the show :)

    ReplyDelete
  136. When I joined last year, the shows I got were Bad Judge, CSI: Cyber and Manhattan Love Story. Things happened and shows became available and I got interested in other things (and the new shows ended up not interesting me) and now I have 2 Broke Girls, Mistresses, Orange is the New Black, Pretty Little Liars, Salem, Scream Queens and Sleepy Hollow. I also get to do back-up for Chasing Life, Devious Maids, Empire, The Flash, iZombie, Once Upon a Time, Reign, Scandal and Supergirl (and previews for Shadowhunters). So even though shows open to apply for don't really catch your fancy, chances are you're going to be moving on to bigger and better things on SpoilerTV pretty quickly. In 16/17, I hope you do try out even if the shows don't interest you too much :)

    ReplyDelete
  137. I am not sure if you are joking or not. Eother way, we don't cover reality shows

    ReplyDelete
  138. So sad that I didn't watch any of theses shows and because of that I couldn't apply. =(

    ReplyDelete
  139. I wished Veep is open for application.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Thank you Gavin for the info, and yes i've seen you around a lot. We've even spoken, over the Sleepy Hollow section of course. And some of Flash. = ) I definitely will try out, b/c i'm a damn good writer, i'd like to expand on that. (I so want to be part of the writer's room one day on a tv show and work my way to film. That's my goal) I feel if i were to write for this site, it would help me get moving, and be a huge confidence boost. I lack confidence (fear is a real pain in the ass. I am my own worst enemy) when it comes to big changes. I stay in my comfort zone you know? But since i'm known on this site, i think i would be okay. (the way i would write professionally is way different than how i comment). Writing for this site would be a stepping stone in the right direction, so i just have to try and stay positive. = ) But i seriously need to buy a new laptop first. = / Maybe i'll get one around Black Friday this yr.

  141. Congrats to those you made it!

    ReplyDelete
  142. When can we apply again?

    ReplyDelete
  143. That was fast! Congrats to the new writers!

    ReplyDelete
  144. Oh god, Its the second time I apply and I was rejected again :( Congrats to the chosen ones! I guess I'll just keep writing comments as I've always done.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Hi to all the new team members, look forward to reading your reviews in the future!

Sorry to those who didn't make it, but I still look forward to your views and chatter on the site, it's just as vital to the site as the articles themselves!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Very well said. The comments, views and opinions are the lifeblood of a site like this.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Congratulations guys! I'm looking forward to someone's Badlands reviews already.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Welcome everyone who has joined the team!

    ReplyDelete
  149. I was wondering why that show was up for new reviewers-didn't know if they were expanding (if I recall rightly, shows like "Supernatural" have a couple reviewers, for instance) or if you were dropping it or what. I'm sorry to hear you won't be reviewing the show next season, and will miss your reviews! But I'll read your reviews for other shows-if they're ones I don't currently watch maybe I'll be persuaded to start :D!

    ReplyDelete
  150. I'm out :( I'm going to go cry in a corner now. I wish there was a spot for OUAT!!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Congrats and welcome to the new writers! Looking forward to seeing what you have to say on the shows I keep up on.

I'm not surprised so many people applied -- it's a dream "job" for many, I imagine! I'm nowhere near eloquent enough to review and I'm very picky with what shows I watch so I didn't apply, but I'm sure the new recruits will love it!

    ReplyDelete
  152. I have a long list of shows that i watch i'm talking alot more then a convict arrests has on their rap sheet lmao!.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Congrats and Good Luck to the new writers! Looking forward to next season and all the great discussions!

    ReplyDelete
  154. Well, thank you! :D I'm SO excited to read your reviews! This time I'll be in your comment section; granted I probably won't post comments was lengthy as yours. :P
Great, I hope you give some new shows a try!

    ReplyDelete
  155. Congratulations to all new writers, and I am glad to see this friendly site expand. And commiserations to those that didn't get chosen.

    ReplyDelete
  156. You're welcome, and thank you in turn :)! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time, but at least I'll have a full summer to learn the ins and outs of how to work this stuff before the show comes back, LOL :p.
Ha! Eh, hey, get as rambly as you want if you're so inspired-I like hearing your thoughts about the show, so whatever you want to talk about, I'll look forward to your comments :D.
My list of shows I want to check out, old and new, is seriously ridiculous. Thank goodness for summer hiatus in that regard, is all I can say. I'll try slowly working through it all. And I look forward to hearing about how the new shows pan out next fall-it's always exciting to find out what series are going to be the next fan favorites :).

    ReplyDelete
  157. Sending along congrats to all who will be joining the team this time around! And to those who applied and didn't get through, I'm sorry, and I wish you all luck the next time they're hiring.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Congrats to everyone who made the cut!

    ReplyDelete
  159. Fantastic to see some new faces on the site and more shows being covered

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'm excited and humbled for this opportunity. I hope I can make my reviews as informative and entertaining as the ones I have enjoyed reading here. I've only been a part of this team for a little over a day now and it's already been an incredible experience. I didn't expect to make the cut, but I'm so glad I did. For those that didn't get in this time please try again the next time they are looking for reviewers. An incredible group of people run this site and it's worth it to try.

    ReplyDelete
  161. If you need any help at all with anything, you know I'm right here to help! And I commented on the Google+ page, so feel free to drop me a message any time. :)

I did reviews in the past for shows like Medium, Shit My Dad Says and Mad Men in 2010.I have to drop the duties due a busy schedule of work/college.It was great then.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Thank you so much :). I'll keep that in mind. And yeah, I'll probably be talking with you and the others a lot over the summer-you all seem like a very helpful bunch, so that makes me feel better :D.

  164. I have bad grammar, but I love to write?

  165. So sad I saw this post late.... So do I apply next year? Also love everything you do with the site.
