  • About the Daily Ratings
Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.

The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).

Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). 2. solid night for ABC
Hopefully OUAT goes up for the finale

    ReplyDelete
  3. that 1.2 for revenge tied the blacklist for the week

  4. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:04

Glad that Revenge rose even though I know that it was cancelled

  5. Goodbye Revenge 😒 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:05

I am so happy for revenge :) this is what it deserves! It really does. By the amount of comments, the highest amount in a while, I can tell sth big happened so i will see you all later after i have watched

    ReplyDelete
  6. LOL @ MS. The most unjustified CBS renewal that I can think of. Ridiculous that another show may lose a slot for this absolute failure.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:05

I think that this is a good chance that it might go up to a 1.4 next week

    ReplyDelete
  8. Goodbye Revenge 😒 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:06

Next week revenge needs to Hit a 1.5! I cannot wait to watch last night's episode. See you all later :)

  9. Goodbye Revenge 😒 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:06

Or even higher. See you later :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. I was hoping Madam Secretary would go up for its finale. Sadly it didn't. It doesn't deserve those low ratings.

Secrets and Lies equals its season high, good! Also a season high in audience I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:07

    they could cancel it...

    ReplyDelete
  12. Winners: OUAT and S&L
HM: Family Guy, LMoE, The Simp
Losers: Everything on CBS and NBC

    ReplyDelete
  13. Good for S&L.

    Ouch for MS amd TGW.

    ReplyDelete
  14. i was thinking the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  15. And half hours were 1.7/1.8

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hopefully they do.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:07

    Ouch TGW and Madam Secretary..

    ReplyDelete
  18. Bradley Adams4 May 2015 at 16:07

Yes at S&L once again leading the night (if you break the tie with OUAT by viewers).

How is American Odyssey still on the air?

    Horrible night at CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Not surprised though.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Winners (or Honorable Mentions?) : Once Upon a Time, Secrets and Lies, Family Guy

Losers: Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Battle Creek, A.D., American Odyssey

    ReplyDelete
  21. I love both OUAT & Revenge but I wonder which will have more viewers next week !

    ReplyDelete
  22. 1.2 is really not something worth celebrating.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I don't know how American Odyssey is still on the air? Maybe NBC is just like @#$% it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. S&L probably won in unrounded numbers. OUAT did 1.6/1.7 and S&L did 1.7/1.8.

    ReplyDelete
  25. They have already renewed it for season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:09

My guess is it's going to be cancelled... They renewed it too soon...

    ReplyDelete
  27. They could change their minds though.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I still haven't recovered from that episode. It was amazing. Mind blowing really. Go watch! All three of ABC Sunday shows were amazing last night, but Revenge was actually my favorite! It was classic Revenge. And stay away from the site until you do watch all three!

    ReplyDelete
  29. 1.7 is the new 2.7. At least on sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The episode was really amazing but yes, you need to stay away! And don't watch the series finale promo either as you will be spoiled automatically for what happened last night!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I was hoping that S&L would rise for the finale. But being even at 1.7 is still pretty good. Renewal is guaranteed and if ABC follows tradition, we should be hearing about it late Thursday night (US)
Also, I am saying this again, but why has American Odyssey not been pulled yet?

    ReplyDelete
  32. It's crazy the standards ABC has managed to withhold for its scripted slate, they really had a great year.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Perry will miss Revenge 😒4 May 2015 at 16:11

I have a feeling that next week is going to be BIG for Revenge. When it was cancelled Wednesday, I went to Twitter, and sure enough it was trending. Anyway, I read a lot of the tweets, and I mean a lot of people said they dropped it, but would watch the last episode to see how it finally ends!

    ReplyDelete
  34. NBC is insane.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Maybe NBC forgot it was still on LOL?

    ReplyDelete
  36. NBC is managed by monkeys, in my humble opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That's actually pretty true.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:12

they'll probably change their mind... Reweing a brand new show whose ratings are very low at the end of the season is totally crazy... It's not like it's an old show they want to end properly..

    ReplyDelete
  39. What happened to the Simpsons? And B99 doesn't deserve a spot on the fall schedule, even though it will get one.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Madam Secretary's pilot was so boring, I don't know how people can watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I really can't see CBS un-renewing a show they renewed in January.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 25 years happened to The Simpsons.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:13

and how CBS could have renewed it so soon x)

    ReplyDelete
  44. it actually gets better with the episodes. it's not my type of show in the first place but now I can't stop watching it

    ReplyDelete
  45. Its a very serious show fits perfect for older crowd

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hopefully CBS decides to reverse its renewal and end it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. What do you think CBS will do with Madam Secretary next season? The Millers treatment? Or cancel after season 2? Or renew for two more seasons? I think if it isn't moved it will have football lead-ins in the fall so it will recover from this spring's horrible numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Revenge fans, what would you rather have as a leadin to the finale (I'd sumbit this as a USD poll but mine never get picked lol):

    -OUAT finale
    -Revenge pilot
    -last night's episode
    -recap episode
    -other

    ReplyDelete
  49. Neither can I, but things happen haha.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Old people sleeps in front of the tv.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Perry will miss Revenge 😒4 May 2015 at 16:14

Why not? It's on par with the rest of the line up give or take a couple tents. It hit 2's in fall didn't it??? I know it had football as a lead in, but I feel like it'll get a fall slot for sure.

(I do not watch Fox Sunday's, so this is completely unbiased lol)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would agree with you if it wasn't in the 3s and 4s just this fall. Can't believe how leadin dependent it is,

    ReplyDelete
  53. Sadly Once and S&L didn't do better. But still topped the night demo wise. #thumbsUp
Ohhh Revenge rose with the cancellation news. #brokenHearted

    ReplyDelete
  54. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:14

    OUAT finale

    ReplyDelete
  55. for best possible ratings OUAT

    ReplyDelete
  56. OUAT finale is two hours long.

    ReplyDelete
  57. It had football lead-in.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Farewell Parks and Rec4 May 2015 at 16:15

    Unrenew MS!

Secrets and Lies did well and ABC made a mistake canceling Revenge (nope). FOX 8 pm assures are low.

    LOL NBC and LOL CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  59. i agree. MS deserves to be cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  60. That's your opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Farewell Parks and Rec4 May 2015 at 16:16

It deserves it more than botrdertown

    ReplyDelete
  62. Get rid of MS and GW, bring back CSI for 6-13 episodes

    ReplyDelete
  63. Perry will miss Revenge 😒4 May 2015 at 16:17

I think they should switch TAR & MS slots, and see how MS does opening Friday nights. If it's on par or a bit up from Sunday, then there you go improvement. :) We all know TAR can do well on Sunday!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:17

The funny thing is a lot of people said that they dropped in season 2 and would still return after 2 years of not watching to see how it ends.

    ReplyDelete
  65. The Good Wife deserves to be cancelled to, but it won't be.

    ReplyDelete
  66. GW will get their final season. CSI is a goner.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Next season will be the final season anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Idk why everyone thinks its so safe, awards won't save it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Agree with omabin. Just watched this morning,

    ReplyDelete
  70. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:18

Any rise is worth celebrating for despite the fact that it was cancelled

    ReplyDelete
  71. ABC half hours: 1.6/1.7/1.7/1/8/1.3/1.1

    ReplyDelete
  72. I am of two minds about it.
    - On the one hand, I don't buy that the spring collapse was some big upset that they didn't foresee back in the fall. The show is underachieving for sure, but it's not as if the fall ratings would lead us to expect something that different in the spring, where viewing levels are drastically lower and lead-in is significantly reduced either. I would say that the fall levels would hit at 1.3 or so performer in the spring, and nothing more than that. So I think that if CBS renewed it expecting that, it must be that they have other reasons behind the renewal, probably close to the ones that have managed to keep The Good Wife alive for so long (upscale demo? A25-54 sales? I have no clue, and none of this convinces me actually), which means they will be happy to continue doing this next year.
    - On the other hand... The Millers showed me that CBS is dumb. The ratings it did on Monday this year that led to its cancellation are the ratings that everyone was expecting it to have. The show was hitting sub 2.0 levels already last year behind a huge Big Bang Theory for god sakes, so obviously that was always expected. The fact that they didn't expect it and had to act when a different outcome happened shows me that they are actually bad managers at understanding trends and lead-in/ viewing levels dynamics and all. So in that sense, it may be that they were stupid enough to believe that MS inflated ratings were for real and that the renewal only makes sense under those circumstances.

In reality, it's probably a combination of both. I think they will have it stay put or, at worse, slide to 9pm, but I am not sure I actually see it getting pulled in Season 2. I think the first point is still compelling enough to avoid that. But I have zero confidence in this.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Farewell Parks and Rec4 May 2015 at 16:19

Why bother with a show 23 episodes away from ending?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Farewell Parks and Rec4 May 2015 at 16:19

    Past decisions by CBS?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:20

OUAT obviously, but its good that it will have OUAT as its lead in for its series finale

    ReplyDelete
  76. Bruce Jenner: The Interview

It would actually break a 2.0

    ReplyDelete
  77. I quite like it!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Without knowing the background, if I heard someone saying that a show "deserves a 1.2", I would take that in the negative sense.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Perry will miss Revenge 😒4 May 2015 at 16:21

CSI deserves it more :( I don't watch either show, but CSI low is 1.1 after 15 years, and it is a huge brand for CBS, and has been tremendous for them over the years, while TGW is hitting below 1.0 in 6th season, and yes it has some award recognition, but 0.9 is way too low for a renewal.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Episodes 2-13 (Which aired before the renewal) got between a 1.9-1.4 if you check the ratings, so I can understand why they renewed it.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:21

Apparently they think about giving CSI a final season (like 6 episodes to close it properly). I wouldn't be surprised, this show made history maybe more than any of they other shows.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't buy that at all.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Interesting thoughts! We will know soon enough if it's moved when CBS announces it schedule next week.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Sorry for the long rant :P

    ReplyDelete
  85. Perry will miss Revenge 😒4 May 2015 at 16:23

People NEED to see the final showdown between Victoria and Amanda!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Remove that comment please. You are spoiling last night's episode to a lot of people in a huge way!

    ReplyDelete
  87. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:23

yeah and it made 1.6 and 10,5 millions on Tuesday after to reruns of NCIS. Cyber did 1.2 and 8 million.
CSI suffered from its bad timeslot, not the fact it's an old show... It deserves an end.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ha no worries! I'd rather you give your honest thoughts with a lot of explanation (and historical data) than a short answer. It's why I apreciate your comments, you take a lot of factors into consideration.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:25

I agree theres no doubt in my mind that a 1.2 is a bad rating.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Gaia Di Lorenzo4 May 2015 at 16:25

yay stable OUAT. Good. Still in top demos. Too bad it's not in total viewers but still good for OUAT right? The share is good. Plus we got S5 so I am ok

    ReplyDelete
  91. Thanks, that's kind of you ;)

    ReplyDelete
  92. AWW Revenge is Up. Im happy about it. Once steady and S&L tho i dont watch it it has renewal all over it.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:27

it's still earning huge money worldwide (it's still one of the most watched shows in the world), far enough to give it a final season if they want...
Though that's not the case of The Good Wife, and CSI Cyber

    ReplyDelete
  94. I think it rose because it was cancelled; people are coming back to see how it ends

    ReplyDelete
  95. Good night for ABC, even though numbers are still not great they did well. NBC just is a mess. Nothing on FOX surprised me. CBS, wow have you fallen. The Amazing Race should have stayed on Sunday, and the definitely renewed MS too soon. The Good Wife will get last season despite terrible numbers

    ReplyDelete
  96. I dont think the final season has to be 22 episodes. 13 episodes should be sufficient for the writers to end the show.

    ReplyDelete
  97. It also had its biggest lead-in in a long time (1.8 at the half hour). So I think it was a combo of the two. But in any case, I agree that ABC only lost by not announcing this as a final season from the beginning.

    ReplyDelete
  98. While the pilot felt like it took eternity, the show isn't that bad. Tea and the supporting cast are really good, and her and her husband's relationship is one of the best portrayals on TV right now of how to make married couple interesting, relatable and seem in love without ripping them apart.

    ReplyDelete
  99. They really should put TAR back on Sundays next season.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Greice Moreira4 May 2015 at 16:29

Wow Secret and Lies is doing amazing. Too bad it's the kind of story that can't go on for season with the same cast and that the plot has to change every season. Do you guys think it will get these ratings with a different cast and plot?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Aryam Manzueta4 May 2015 at 16:29

Madam Secretary is not even strong in 25-54. CBS should really reconsider...

    ReplyDelete
  102. I agree with everything you've said. And I also think the pilot is one of the worst episodes of the series.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I will LMAO if Cyber gets renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yeah, me neither. How many times have we heard networks thinking about something but it never happens.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Depends on scheduling and on who the actors are I think.

    ReplyDelete
  106. from the finale many of the cast could return and the story could continue.

    ReplyDelete
  107. S&L could adjust up. Well deserved. Nice! ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  108. They definitely should and hopefully they are. MS should be cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:30

I know, but on the bright side at least it likely won't be going out with ratings like a 0.9 to 1.1

    ReplyDelete
  110. Sometimes it does though. See Private Practice final season, Parenthood final season.

    ReplyDelete
  111. what would they put there?

    ReplyDelete
  112. Repeats of any of the Wolf shows regularly do better, even out of slot...

    ReplyDelete
  113. Well KaDee won't be returning if her show gets picked up.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Ryan neither I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Aryam Manzueta4 May 2015 at 16:31

I haven't watched the finale so don't spoil it for me, but do you think it can go for 1 more season with this cast or like 3+ seasons?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Hey, it's the most watched show of the night. That's something for CBS to brag about, lol

    ReplyDelete
  117. You should stay away today. Amazingly, nobody has spoiled it yet here, but it is bound to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Gaia Di Lorenzo4 May 2015 at 16:31

Nbc yes... I don't know if TBL will even survive for S4. That's sad because it was a hit... I still love it.

    ReplyDelete
  119. It will make it.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Renewed for season 3 = automatic season 4. You should know that by now.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Are B99's ratings ok? I know it's already renewed for a 3rd season, but will it continue to get renewed in the future if its ratings are similar to today's?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:32

it probably won't, the ratings are falling hard and it's destroyed by the critics... It was even down on Tuesday when they tried it there (where CSI did very good few months sooner). My guess is they'll give a final and shortened season for CSI and cancel Cyber.

    ReplyDelete
  123. I think if renewed a new story will probably be the main focus, but I think its possible to continue this story also

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yesterday was a bad performance, but last week it did quite well. It's a bit inconsistent.

    ReplyDelete
  125. It will be for season 4, at the least.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Yep, I'm sure more people would have been watching if they knew this was the final season and ABC would have made more money that way. I really can't understand why they didn't announce it sooner. They had a chance at the TCA

    ReplyDelete
  127. I got it spoiled for me, posted on twitter that I was about to watch the finale and some dumb ass replied with the killer :(

    ReplyDelete
  128. I'm just hoping CBS saw the latest data for Cyber. I think CBS will cancel both of them.

    ReplyDelete
  129. The circumstances of the airings of the two shows are nowhere near comparable. New Orleans (R) was much higher when CSI aired, the competition was much weaker and the viewing levels were much higher (Spring vs. Winter).

This is not to say anything about the chances of both shows or who is stronger but it is absurd to use the Tuesday airings as reasons to justify one thing or the other.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Gaia Di Lorenzo4 May 2015 at 16:34

Percetion didn't that why I will always HATE TNT.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Yes because I think ABC can get an actor or actress of Ryan Philippe's caliber. Also if some viewers did not want to watch a series about the murder of a child, season 2 could be about a murder of an adult, a missing person, a kidnapping etc.

    ReplyDelete
  132. That happened because it was nowhere near syndication.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I don't think they had decided it back then. It finished the fall season on an okay note, hitting 1.5 after OUAT and then 1.2 for the fall finale. That wasn't something they couldn't work with for a short final season filler. Then winter happened and it was curtains most likely. That's how I think it went anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Bryan Champion4 May 2015 at 16:36

I guess it depends on the relationship a network has with its show... CBS owes a lot to CSI Las Vegas. Nina Tassler already told this many times. She also said few months ago they'll never cancel CSI without telling the writers to prepare a real end. Believe me they care a lot for this show ! :)

    ReplyDelete
  135. Yes, I don't think they should do murder of a child again. I also don't think it is necessary to bring back Cornell. Just do a whole new thing.

    ReplyDelete
  136. You are a PR victim.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I get that, but ABC TCAs were after Revenge pulled a 0.8. There was no comming back after that

    ReplyDelete
  138. Exactly lol

    ReplyDelete
  139. Don't fall for the PR jedi!

    ReplyDelete
  140. That doesn't apply to cable shows.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Nooo, don't fall for it HAHA

    ReplyDelete
  142. Was it? I thought it was a couple of weeks before. Well, then I am at a loss.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Farewell Revenge 2011-20154 May 2015 at 16:40

Just out curiosity is Secrets & Lies an analogy series?

    ReplyDelete
  144. That is the type of thing I'd do to some random person I don't know, lol

    ReplyDelete
  145. I guess ABC was hoping for a miraculous rise in the ratings with the arrival of Secrets & Lies. Thankfully, the writers saw the end coming and decided to do some closure with a "little" cliffhanger I guess a la Desperate Housewives

    ReplyDelete
  146. It is supposed to, if it's coming back, only Juliette Lewis will be a part of the new season :)

    ReplyDelete
  147. Nobody knows how to answer that right now I think

    ReplyDelete
  148. Back then everyone was commenting about the 0.8 and how Revenge could not rally from that. There were plenty of complains towards Paul Lee for giving false hopes to both fans and writers of the show

    ReplyDelete
  149. Why? That is horribly mean. Would you appreciate if it was done to you, Babar?

    ReplyDelete
  150. Greice Moreira4 May 2015 at 16:43

It all depends on second season. But I have a feeling if they don't mess up, they might have stroke gold.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Anthology. Yes that is what the writers said at TCAs.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Gaia Di Lorenzo4 May 2015 at 16:44

Right. TNT should have still kept that awesomeness. Do you think CF can get 6 seasons?
