  1. I'm pretty sure I heard CJ get in a couple of questions there... :P

Nothing really spoilery seeing as they don't know yet, but thanks for sharing. It was nice to hear what they thought about stuff.

  2. I'm surprised no one asked about Hunter/Bobbi's relationship. They are a hugely popular pairing with the fans and the network. ABC was even considering a spin off show just for them. Yet, none of the reporters asked any questions about their relationship and instead there was more focus on FitzSimmons. I love both pairings by the way. But I would have loved to hear Nick's thoughts on Hunter and Bobbi. I mean, they got MAJOR scenes in the finale with her taking the shot to save his life....I'd imagine you'd want to ask about THAT moment. :( Just strange. Their dynamic was a huge part of the show in this season.

  4. I loved Iains response to the dc question lol! I wonder who his friend who works at dvd.
Nick is so cute I love how he talks about the cast they really do seem like a tight knit group.

  5. Yeah, and he and Iain look like some odd pair of twins.

  6. Lol, now that you mention it I can see it! :D

  7. A little (possibly alarming) food for thought: Iain said the only one who's really different from her character is Ming. What does that say about Brett, exactly?

    ;)

  9. Off-topic, but it's almost 2 weeks later and I'm already bored without an episode of AoS to look forward. How am I going to survive the summer? :(

  10. That he's good in his job - pretending things.

  11. Good one!

  12. By watching Daredevil, Aka Jessica Jones and Agent Carter?

  13. Ian should really loose this habit to hold his hand over his mouth every time he talks....

  14. Binge watched Daredevil when it came out. Agent Carter is a possibility, but AKA Jessica Jones isn't available yet and likely won't be before AoS season 3 begins.

  15. Agents of Scruff is something I can get behind, Brett looks better with facial hair as well, not sure about Coulson though that would be odd.

  16. But it should be available during the Winter hiatus.
Don't miss out on Agent Carter. Honestly, don't. It's worth it.

  17. I know you are joking but I think Brett is very underrated as an actor. He has done a tremendous job portraying the hard character that is Ward from the beginning. He was criticized a lot at the beginning but he has proven in Season 2 that what he did back then was just excellent acting since he was acting like the pretty muscle boy that Ward himself was pretending to be.

  18. OMG Nick is unrecognizable without his bear or his hair lmao.

  19. Fanfiction (go to AO3) and the SHIELD book that takes place in the main comics universe (I guess we can't call it 616 anymore). It's a really good series and I like comics Simmons a lot better than MCU Simmons, but that's mostly because the world has yet to make her so bitter with everything. There's a new issue Wednesday.

  20. Problem with fanfiction is that the specific theme I'm so looking forward to read, Grant and Thomas' broship, won't be readily available in fan stories until they officially reunite in the show. =)

SHIELD book is a possibility, I'll think of buying it, thanks.

  21. I believe the trade paperback comes out next month for the first six issues so you may want to wait a little bit more. As for the fanfiction, the reason why I started writing fanfiction was I could never quite find what I wanted. I'm planning to do at least one tiny short story for the hiatus in addition to my ongoing series that I started last hiatus.

  22. Yeah, I often think about doing it, but there always a pesky elements here and there that mess up the planning. :)

  23. I wanted a spin off so badly for Hunter and Bobbi. Just to have a show focusing on them and their dynamic is like a dream come true. Oh well. I knew it was too good to be true when I heard the news. :(

  25. Now I know you're kidding, but considering all the craziness that can go around lets try to keep actors and characters separated here.

  26. Because I know how you feel about Ward, I found the joke was a bit in poor taste.

Having said that, I personally didn't take it that way because I've read enough of your comments around the site, and we've talked enough for me to know your real intent here.
However I do think there is room for it to be taken that way by others.

  27. How, exactly?

Iain claimed that there are similarities between the cast members and the characters they play, and then cited Ming as the only exception. This would imply that everyone else IS like their characters, so I joked that if Brett is really like Ward, that's a cause for concern. If anyone's sarcasm meter is so off that they think I was genuinely suggesting that Brett Dalton is a murderer and ex-Nazi, they might want to stay off the Internet. I'm really not seeing the "poor taste", here. (I realize there are a few stupid people out there who can't tell fictional characters apart from actors, hence making hate comments to Brett because of how they feel about Ward's character - I don't feel like a negligible minority of nutjobs should prevent the rest of us from making jokes.)

And I still have no idea how what I said can be construed as knocking Brett's acting skills, when it had nothing to do with that.

  28. If anyone's sarcasm meter is so off that they think I was genuinely suggesting that Brett Dalton is a murderer and ex-Nazi (...)
Well that is the longer extension of the joke which, even though my sarcasm meter ranks very high, is why I found it was in poor taste. Having said that I acknowledged the joke, and wasn't offended by it, I just didn't like it.
And really if that was just it then I wouldn't have commented.

However - and I will concede that maybe I am having one of those days where I'm being overly cautious - I have seen little comments like that blow up like dynamite because of those nutjobs. Especially over characters who cause such controversy like Ward.

And I still have no idea how what I said can be construed as knocking Brett's acting skills, when it had nothing to do with that.
It's an extension of the "you don't like Ward=you don't like Brett" mindset that a lot of people have. Which is ridiculous and I know you don't share but again could be misconstrued like that by a different faction of those same nutjobs who take every "attack" towards characters they like and the actors who portray them personally.

I've just seen too many internet fights start from something as phenomenally mundane as this. And even though I agree with you, one shouldn't be scared and self-censor themselves over every little thing, I think being conscientious and covering ones bases when it comes to matters as heated as this is not a bad move.

I've been most impressed by Agent Carter of all the Marvel offerings so far, and I say that as someone who never disliked Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. like some vocal others.
