ReplyDeleteI can quite easily rewatch both. Dramas on the rewatch allow me to take more of it in. Also when you consider that I've rewatched each episode of 24 enough times that I could probably write most of the episodes to a high degree of accuracy, rewatches are pretty much standard for me.

ReplyDeleteScrew Malcolm, it's Barrowman I love. Tom is a decent character so I don't want to lose him. And I can't even contemplate Root dying. I love her character now and Amy Acker has been excellent all season.
"I have a good idea for the finale - let's bring back Sara and make the entirety of season 3 utterly pointless" No. Just no. Season 3 seems to be improving on the early episodes (not by that much, but improving nonetheless) - do not throw that away, Arrow.

I love Malcolm, he's deliciously evil. Arrow needs someone evil we know Oliver won't ever kill. He's the shows Joker (plus a perfect way to promote your show, the guy can easily be sold as a Tom Cruise look-alike)
Tom isn't just decent, he's the best Blacklist got. Reds constant secrets turned him into a chore (love Spader and Red but his characteristics are getting boring)
Loved Root ever since her first episode (the one she set up that job-less guy to kill a politician) so I'd probably quit POI for good
He needs to go easy on him though, if he didn't Malcolm would have to leave for story purposes.

I get why and while I usually would say "get used to him" I have been proven wrong on Arrow so often I don't dare to say anything. Plus I'm biased and when I'm biased I'm overly sensitive about characters (thus I think that he might die)

Maybe I'm still bitter from the first half of the season where it was like 'OMG Tom's alive?!?!?!?!?!' when everyone predicted that in May. There is a lot to be done with Tom, I think - hopefully they don't just focus on the idea of him getting back with Liz. Spader's awesomeness keeps it on my weekly watchlist (also, it has improved in 2B, which is good).
Yeah, I always loved her as a villain but now I think she can't be lost. I wouldn't drop the show but it'd take me the whole summer to recover.

ReplyDeleteI always thought Oliver going easy on Malcolm is because of a daddy complex, Oliver/Tommy grew up together, so whenever Tommy had Malcolm,so did Oliver. In some shape or form Oliver might even long for a father figure within Malcolm (just my theory but in reality it's just plot convenience)

With the author around able to change things and so many returning characters already is has to be OUAT

Guessing this is The Flash, OUAT played that card last season anyway.

This sounds literal, must be OUAT.
It's Al-Sahim and I don't think so there's no time for that. And being an international assassin is no way to make a first impression lol

Chloe said in a very recent interview the Skye would never be with a murderer and i think it's very clear right now that Ward is going very full on the villain path and this is not going to change anytime soon. Thank god, because if there's one thing the would make me stop to watch AoS would be this.

ReplyDeleteIMHO it is completely unlikely. Only in case if the writers knew that this is series finale as well. Without her there are no more significant female character in the show. Even though Shaw too was moved from a guest appearance to permanent, at that time there were Carter as an established one and there were time to "groom" her character. The new female guests (Harper, Dani Silva or Iris) plotlines aren't strong enough to became a permanent partner with the team. It's Hollywood with gender right activism, no way that they throw out two main female characters in one season.

ReplyDeleteYeah, nothing has been revealed yet because it hasn't happened yet (May sweeps start on April 23 and ends May 20). People are just guessing who they think will apply to each category.

Arrow will 1) Oliver/Felicity having sex for the first time 2) Felicty saying "ILY" to Oliver 3) Another wedding 4) Ray leaving Starling City
Some i think could happen: Oliver gets his company back and Felicity becomes the president(major job changes, i believe Felicity was made Palmer Tech's VP in order to prepare a character to take the job once Oliver got QC back) and Sara's comeback as a cliffhanger(but most likely will be somewhere in Season 4) perhaps and Oliver and Felicity could start a relationship(this i seriously doubt)
Am I the only one Who likes Roy on Arrow? I heard there will be a death in the next episode and i really hope it is not him!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like Roy and I'm pretty sure he's not the death. To be fair I hadn't heard about a death in the next episode, so you may have more info than I, but since Roy is going to the spinoff, his dying is unlikely.

Number of new pregnancies: Brennan from Bones (twins!), JJ from CM, Kate from Castle
Number of couples reuniting: Cece & Smith from New Girl
Number of breakups/divorces: I can see one possibly happening on the ncis franchise
Number of possible fatalities*: definitely at least one from the ncis franchise (my guess is that Kensi from NCIS:LA gets shot on the job as there was some foreshadowing for that, but I doubt it will be near fatal), also quite possibly someone from CM, possibly Kate or her niece/daughter
Number of characters leaving town: Coach and Jess from New Girl (some rumours about the actresses pregnancy dealt in a way she is not really “seen”)
Number of resurrections and/or big returns: definitely someone from the past on Castle, and on at least one of the ncis shows
Number of onscreen firings/resignations/major job changes: Deeks from NCIS:LA (fake or temporary return to LAPD, after that finally officially signing to NCIS as an agent), Beckett from Castle
That is all I can think of right now. I do not watch many shows, and with some I could not see the show fitting to any category, though many surprises are possible.
You are not missing anything. Everyone is just guessing based on what they have seen and read in spoilers about the shows they watch or know about. So all the "answers" you see are just guesses people make. Many will turn out to be correct of course.
ReplyDeleteThe scorecard works like this: When it is first posted each year, it looks like it does right now (April 7th). A number of lines saying SPOILER after each category. These are the events that TV LIne is aware of. The numbers increase for many categories as they get more scoop from the "networks/tv shows" and/or as the sweeps time arrives and the episodes of the shows that count start to air. They have already added more rows for some categories this year. Sometimes a category that at first has only 2 slots, will finally have 10. Because even the spoiler sites do not have all the scoop for all events long before the shows air, and as far as i understand they only add those spoilers that they are "certain" of.
This year the sweeps is for all network (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC) shows and those episodes of the shows that air between April 23rd and May 20th 2015. All episodes and events outside those dates (before and after) are not listed on this scorecard. (Example: this year Bones airs its season finale in June, so any events and cliffhangers happening there do not count in here)
When the time comes the words SPOILER start to be replaced with the names of the shows and characters and couples. (example: it has been revealed in interviews that Bones is writing in their lead actresses pregnancy, and it will be relevaled soon. After that episode air, usually in the next 24 hours after air time for each "spoiler", the "blank" is filled with the correct information
