It was the blast heard ’round the Hamptons on Sunday’s Revenge, as Grayson Manor was utterly destroyed in a series of fiery explosions. But did Victoria really go down in flames, once and for all? Unfortunately for all your Vicky sympathizers out there, the answer is yes.
“People have different theories about it all, but one thing you need to remember is that Victoria has displayed that she’s suicidal,” Madeleine Stowe tells TVLine. “There’s always been a bit of a death wish in her. She has a history of that, so this shouldn’t be a complete surprise.”
Interview:
TVLINE | So, is this the last we’ve seen of Victoria Grayson?
You’ll see some stuff in flashbacks, which will explain more about what her state of mind was. Some people feel that Victoria’s story hadn’t fully wrapped up, so there should be — unless something has changed — some very strong revelations which we shot. You’ll get to understand her a little more.
TVLINE | Forget Emily. It sounds like you‘re Victoria’s greatest threat, wanting her dead so many times.
I did feel that. This storyline could only go so far, unless you were going to take a radical departure — and what would that be? That David Clarke was a bad guy? I don’t think they’d ever do that.

The Queen is gone.
ReplyDeleteWell that also confirms this is the final season. Anyway, I always thought that she'd die in the final episode if ever.
ReplyDeleteWith Victoria being dead, now I am 100% certain that Revenge will be cancelled, cause theres no way that they could continue this show for another season without Victoria. Knowing that these episodes have this finality feel to them, I think that it will be easier for me to let go of the show. I will still miss this show a lot though :(
ReplyDeleteLong live Queen V. One of the greatest queens on TV. May she rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteI don't get how this confirm anything.
ReplyDeleteOh, okay then... I hope to see Madeleine Stowe on my TV ASAP, she's a great actress and deserves a lot of success. Thank you Madeline Stowe, for playing the best villain I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThe actress basically said that she's very "story centric" and for that reason has been asking the writers to kill her ever since the end of season 1. She said that this is end result and this it.
ReplyDelete"TVLINE | ABC hasn’t officially confirmed this to be the last season. Will people feel satisfied with the finale, either way? What kind of closure is there?I don’t know, it’s hard to tell. You don’t know until the end product is done. A lot of fans will find closure. The only thing I can tell you is that Amanda can never shake Victoria. These two are going to be put together for good."
ReplyDelete"... I get her, and I understand why she would view Amanda as the enemy all the way to her grave. She’s determined to go to the grave and take Amanda with her."
R.I.P Amanda xD
I read this comment while looking at your avatar.
ReplyDelete"These two are going to be put together for good."
ReplyDeleteI caught that right when I read it. I think she should be more careful... But is Emily/Amanda really going to die? I kinda wanted that before, but now I want her to stay alive :/
One thing I don't like about ABC is stop beating around the bush if your ending the show after this season confirm it. But I guess they just want us to wait till May Upfronts.
ReplyDeleteOh okay then, it is confirmed. I really liked the interview, it gave us some insight on Madeleine's mind and I like that she also struggled with what is to me one of the biggest jump-the-shark moments for the Victoria character which was to murder Aiden - that's what made her nonredeemable in my eyes. Long live the queen, it was an amazing ride and I will always treasure her character.
ReplyDeleteI will always find Victoria's suicide classy and iconic, this is truely the final season and I'm OK with it and I really hope that closure will be sufficient
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Emily went too far in her revenge, of course she didn't want to hurt any innocent, but she did, it won't be fair if she be happy forever with her daddy.
ReplyDeleteI just have no idea about who's going to kill her, Lydia, Conrad?
I seriously doubt they have a minor player like Lydia kill her. I think she will die as a result of Victoria's suicide somehow.
ReplyDeleteThe show would require a radical reboot to continue, though they tried and failed at that this season already.
ReplyDeleteMy gut tells me that those last secs of S04 or better said Revenge overall will be the reveal that Vic is alive in Paris drinking coffee far away from the Hamptoms. Victoria Grayson died, who knows whom Emily awoke.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see it
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be the last season....end with Jack and Amanda finally together and finish it this season!!! I can't stand any more of Margot and the red head.
ReplyDeleteYeh, you can play the victim card so far in terms of Emily's suffering. Not that I consider Victoria victim either.
ReplyDeleteNoooooo victoria😢😢😢 I will miss you
ReplyDeleteOh you've finally watched!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst Cruella, then Victoria... Damn ABC... Well I just hope Revenge ends this season now... I love it but it can't go on without Queen V
ReplyDeleteYES! It was freaking awesome
ReplyDeleteOMG. I CANT EVEN!
ReplyDeleteRIP one of the best characters ever created.
I can't lmao. Victoria is such a pain in the ass.
ReplyDeleteAnd "dumb as a box of rocks" Charlotte is the only Grayson left to procreate. That's just not fair :)
ReplyDeleteWell Charlotte is actually a Clark, not a Grayson xD There are no more true Graysons left.
ReplyDeleteShe's Victoria'a blood daughter, too...and painfully stupid.
ReplyDeleteShe went out on her own terms,i appreciate that.Madeleine outdid herself for this character portrayal.
ReplyDeleteR.I.P Victoria,you will be missed!
Revenge is so done for me. Since season 1 I've been finding excuses for what the writers have done to the show, but I can't take this. It went from one of the best shows on tv for a show that nobody cares about anymore. Revenge should have had two seasons of 13 episodes just like Mike Kelley wanted. How many years can you watch someone doing her revenge without getting bored? I think that now everyone's know the answer.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Victoria, not as a character that much, but she was really fan to watch. I love how Madelaine really gets her character and comes clean saying that there was no more story to tell after the S3 finale. She goes even further, the S1 finale, which I thought is too extreme, but ok. She will be missed, Madeleine truly did an amazing job with Victoria
ReplyDeleteBut Victoria became a Grayson when she married Conrad, she isn't originally one. Not that it matters that much xD Though who would have thought Charlotte would outlive them all?
ReplyDeleteYour right and that clip show was good.
ReplyDeleteIf there were an Emmy Award category for the best fake smile, Madeleine Stowe would win hands down for her portrayal of Victoria Grayson. Her character was one of televisions better villains and she added complexity to Victoria Grayson. It was a touching end to her life: Queen Victoria dying alone on her favorite "throne" while simultaneously destroying her castle.
ReplyDeleteWell, now the show for sure is gonna say by by this season..Victoria is at the center of the main story like Emily. okay, now i'm finally ready to say goodbye. It was a great ride, Revenge!
ReplyDeleteWell, in The Count of Monte Cristo he had a happy ending even though he hurt some innocent. I want her to have a kind-of happy ending, with David dead on one hand and finally being with Jack (or something like that) on the other had. We shall see!...
ReplyDeleteDING DONG THE B!TCH IS DEAD
ReplyDeleteWell there is also Patrick who is blood related to Victoria.
ReplyDeleteyes, I loved that, the actress is awesome and I enjoyed her presence so much, although she was the villain!
ReplyDeleteI will really really miss madeleine stowe on television. She was beyond amazing! Kudos
ReplyDeleteI hope that she will be on a new show very soon even if she will always be Queen V for me.
ReplyDeleteDamn, i haven't caught up with Once, noooo, she was my favorite Queen of Darkness. hahaha
ReplyDeleteSorry for the spoiler :( she was my favorite too
