Ahh, but Cam did know what Hodgins was up to with his invention and specifically told him that he was to pursue it on his own time and not the Jeffersonian's. He created his "honeycomb mat" at home without any of the Jeffersonian's resources. Therefore, it's Hodgin's invention and his money if it turns out to be profitable. I really hope Cam and the Jeffersonian don't cause trouble for Jack and Angela. Especially considering the reason why he lost his fortune to begin with. Pelant made Hodgins choose between his money and a village full of women and children. Jack rightfully chose to save innocent lives over his inheritance.
