    But Oliver might in this case for the better good. Otherwise league will never spare Starling City. They will wipe out the whole city just to spite him. I am with Adrian. My guess is with the help of Maseo he will release the virus in Nanda Parbat.

    So he was willing to kill a random person who could be a helpless innocent? That's just as bad. He was going to kill the real Dig but Thea stopped him. Even if he didn't hurt Lyla he still kidnapped her and left a baby unattended. I know people want to believe it but some of the things he did are ruthless and unforgivable. I want to believe that theory but it's not adding up.
    I'm glad you did, really I am. I'm misrable and I don't want anyone I care about to feel like this.

    It could be glorious. I hope it happens. I can't get on brain washed train because Oliver is mentally very strong. He has suffered a lot in past 8 years. 3 weeks torture won't just make him compliant. My belief is he knows exactly what he is doing. Otherwise the brainwashing will be just an excuse to write away Oliver killing people.

    It was not that bad. I expected lot worse. I thought Diggle might actually loose a limb. Lyla didn't even get a scratch. All that happened was Diggle getting a flash wound. Oliver is clearly pretending to be brain washed.

    Exactly. I would be pissed if it will turn out to be Barry calling to Oliver's humanity and him responding to that nonsense. If Oliver is brainwashed for real then I want him to see the light on Arrow not on Flash. I am still pissed at them introducing Canary cry on Flash.

    So what can he do? Put the sword down and let Ra's kill him and his family? That is how pretending in enemy camp works. He needs to keep up appearances. Things cannot be black and white all the time. What would have been ruthless would be slaughtering all Diggle, Lyla and everyone else. The truth is if Oliver wanted to kill Diggle he could have done that in half the time it took to incapacitate him and that is even before league training.

    Sure he would. He's not a pure hearted hero. He always been shown as capable of murder. And his "no killing" rule obviously isn't working. I think they're moving him into Green Arrow persona. And GA tries to avoid killing, but if it's necessary he has no problem with doing it.

    Or Malcolm is already working with Ra's to earn his pardon. He made Thea kill Sara because of Ra's orders so that Ra's can get Oliver as his heir and Malcolm can see Starling City wiped out.

    I am so pissed. Sara's Canary Cry introduction in season 2 was so bad ass. She fell from the roof in the middle of people and glass exploded around her. This canary cry didn't even focus on Laurel and the scene was lot smaller. It was focused on Nyssa and Oliver. Then at the last battle she didn't even use it when there were multiple opponents. Ugh.

    exactly, if he (Cisco) did all the amping up of the cry then how come it hurt no ones ears or did anything like we saw back with Sara's, apparently, less powered version? call bullshit on the whole bloody thing.

    He was. Oliver will only kill (and hasn't as himself for over a year) under extreme circumstances. But even then he would never release such a weapon onto the planet. Not only would it kill hundreds of people. If it spread thousands or millions could die.

    This is why I wanted the cry to remain a device and not actual screaming. For one when a character opening mouth and standing in a scream pose it looks ridiculous unless the devastation is really bad. Some things don't translate well on live action screen.
    I was wondering how people who don't see Flash reacted to suddenly seeing Laurel scream in artificial voice. There was no name drop of Cisco or acknowledgement of the device in previously on Arrow segment. You cannot clearly see the collar device since her costume is all black. I would have been so confused if I didn't watch The Flash.

    My belief is Oliver, Nyssa and Ra's will leave in the cargo plane set they created for finale. And Oliver with the help of Maseo will unleash the omega device in Nanda Parbat thus killing all the assassins. Then Oliver and Nyssa will fight Ra's and conquer him/kill him. Other members of Team Arrow might have to face Merlyn in the mean time.

    Exactly. So for this crossover of Oliver protecting Barry to work there has to be some break through next episode. My guess is we will get Oliver talking to Nyssa about the coup he has planned at the end of the episode maybe after their "wedding".

    How did he sacrifice Dig's life? I am saying it was not Dig and Oliver was aware of it. He sacrificed a random person's life. He must have done something or ate some of his magic herbs before hand to counter act Ra's drugging. Or Maseo helped him. Oliver is too disciplined and mentally strong to break and be brain washed in 3 weeks. He has withstood torture before.


    I hope it is pretending rather than brain wash. Because brain washing will be a simple excuse to write away Oliver killing people.

    Better than red wedding. I am imagining Oliver entering their room for his wedding night. Nyssa is waiting there Indian bride style since she is wearing Indian costume. As soon as he reaches her she pulls out a sword and they duel over pillows and satin sheets. In between they will plan the coup and Nyssa will kick Oliver's ass once just because he married her.

    My crack theory: It would be cool if he drank the virus in front of Ra's faking his death. This would allow Nyssa to be the new Ra's and for Oliver to be reborn.

    The virus is bioweapon. So it likely doesn't spread from carrier to carrier. You need to be directly exposed to it in pure form. Otherwise it would be impossible to contain and thus useless as a weapon. You could see it in the last episode, where they were still injecting people with the virus, even after it was released. So I suspect that it only spread as far as particles from the vile reached. Nanda Parbat is in isolated place. If he would release it here only people inside would die.


    And yes. Oliver doesn't want to kill anymore. But he's never going to be completely against it. He would have killed Ra's in the duel if he had a chance. Plus as Vertigo no.1 has proved, Oliver can break that rule if he absolutely needs to. That's what always made him refreshing from other DC superheroes - the willingness to do what's necessary if left with no option.


    Now killing hundreds would be a whole new height of depravity, but it would be interesting to see how much it would wreck his concience in S4 :)
