  1. TVD. Julie/Caroline need to go.

  2. is there any doubt

TVD..... that Julie woman... needs to go take a writing course

other than Reign and Hart Of Dixie I don't watch any of those other shows
don't watch The Originals anymore so again Julie Plec

    ReplyDelete
  3. There's only on obvious answer.
    Jeremy Carver, go home

    ReplyDelete
  4. Unfortunately, Caroline Dries is much worse. :/

    ReplyDelete
  5. Who the hell voted for The 100? xD
Jason Rothenberg is doing an amazing job!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Julie plec needs to go from vampire diaries and originals. She has been killing intrest in her own shows.

Who the hell voted for the 100?!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Supernatural definitely. Oh god. I'm beyond bored with it. There's only tiny glimpses I enjoy with this series, and I have to dig down deep to actually find those tiny glimpses. It's so sad.

TVD- I truly can't stand Caroline Dries. I want Kevin back.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I Can't stand that woman.

I feel like this poll must have been created solely so we can vote for TVD, lol... Not that I disagree - start making decisions based on where the story goes, not you personal/fan's preferences!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Supernatural, Carver lost me his first ep and I can't say it has gotten better, he just does not know how to keep his writers on a plan that includes canon.
Vampire Diaries has just become a mixed up mess.
Stopped watching Beauty so that was one of my votes. Mostly that was because of the wooden acting.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I love Kevin but he has a commitment issue. He cannot stick with shows for more than two seasons which I find very annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Jason should get the title of best showrunner ever.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lol hands down Reign should be the number one on this list.

What I mean - does somebody think that this:

    https://youtu.be/n5e7a172WZU?t=3m49s

is a reasonable behavior for a show runner, wanting to kill a thing because it is too powerful and popular by fans/reviewers and it might take away from your personal choice that you keep pushing no matter how much the story suffers? Way to go, Julie and Caroline, I'm sure this is the best way to make TVD more popular again, f*ck logic, just keep adjusting the the story to your wishes and those who scream loudest on twitter (Klaroline hookup anyone? no? okay...), instead of making choices based on quality...

    ReplyDelete
  16. actually all the julie episodes were really good, let's blame the individual writers for the bad ones

    ReplyDelete
  17. Supernatural. Jeremy Carver is a joke as a show runner and his staff are fan boys who spend more time on comics than they do understanding SPN. They took Eric Kripke's genius and turned it into their fan fiction. They are the epitome of fan pandering. For themselves.

I don't watch Reign anymore but from what I read, I think that show runner is one arrogant person who thinks fans are sheep and should like anything they dole out. The whole concept of "we'll write it and you'll like it."

Julie Plec. I don't even know how to describe the amount of respect I don't have for her. She's a fan girl with a hard on for Ian Somerhalder and delusions of Shonda Rhimes.

    BaTB. No words.

The Flash/Arrow/The100/Jane all have good show runners, even when you don't agree with every choice they make. They love their shows and interact with fans.

    ReplyDelete
  18. TVD is still awesome and I love it more than anything, but I wouldn´t say no to Kevin coming back. Although I´m pretty happy with Caroline Dries, I don´t want her to go, she writes the best Delena scenes :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I fully expected everyone to say Reign..but I voted for TVD...CD needs to go!When storylines dont flow you lose viewers. Why would you state you dont write for viewers/ratings yet when y0u get an increase in viewers/ratings its all praise and hallelujahs?...lmao

    ReplyDelete
  20. As EP and show runner, she makes the final call on all scripts and story lines.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Agreed, Julie makes mistakes that I hate and all, but she has written the best episodes of TVD ever (4x15, 6x02, 6x15, 2x01, 2x07, etc)

    ReplyDelete
  22. You beat me to it, show runner is supposed to keep the writers in line. Which is one of the things I have against Carver(SPN), story is all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  23. i think i have to go with supernatural.
i was a fan of this show before this season and i stopped watching 6,7 eps in.
i think there is still a storyline they can do .(remember god is still missing)
instead they went for some weird storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Exactly. Carver has no idea how to run a show. He just lets those fan boys write what they want. Staying true to the show and canon, be damned. I hate him.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I know, It reminds me of J.J abrams, he only starts a show and leaves.

If Kevin had stayed the show would be so much better, at least Joss Whedon stayed with Buffy from start to finish.

The show is more balanced when a male/female duo write the show together. Than fangirls writing it.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have no idea, it just seems to be a pattern with him:
    - Dawson's Creek: premiered in 1998, he left in 1999
    - The Vampire Diaries: premiered in 2009, he left in 2011 I believe
    - The Following: premiered in 2013, he left in 2014

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it is a bit different because JJ doesn't actually serve as a showrunner in most cases I believe. He is involved in the initial concept and the creation of the show, maybe with the pilot and all but that doesn't manage the first seasons. Kevin actually manages the first couple of seasons and then leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  28. SPN & TVD without a doubt!

    ReplyDelete
  29. 100% agreed. She even admitted that she doesn't know how to write about stefan's character-hello,why are still running the show then?!?

    ReplyDelete
  30. TVD, SPN & TO.

Lol at people voting for The 100.

    ReplyDelete
  31. He gets bored?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ian seems to be really jabbing at it .I saw this interview and was wondering what was going on with Ian and the DE bashing.Mind you I despise the pairing but to me this is his meal ticket.Although I agree with him,I think there is a time and place.Maybe he will get his wish because the DE scenes are flat now and he seems to be putting his all when he acts with Kat.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Maybe now that ian is really pulling for Bamon,we will get a break from Delena after all this time!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maybe? But he as pulling for Bamon seasons ago though not as hard.It would be a refreshing storyline for once instead of the constant make up and break up storyline that DE has without resolving anything. The DE stans on twitter are horrendous to Kat calling her a slave and a housekeeper.I swear they are the worse.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thought I was the only person who picked up on this with KW.Right now he is abt Stalker..which I love..he can write the dark stuff well.I had to give up on The Following..too dark for me and the victims are stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ian´s being so inmature these days, he can´t separate real life form fiction. He can´t stop talking anbout Bamon and he trashes Delena every time someone asks him to say something about them. I guess his break up with Nina affected him deeply.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Slave and a housekeeper-seriously?OMG- i wonder i hate those fandom!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Whoever is in charge of Reign has got to go. That show is a disaster. I can't say a single thing positive about it. I use to love Reign now i can't even bring myself to watch it. I'm surprised it even got renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I just love how every angel can't cross holy fire. Except Metatron who just blows it out like a birthday cake.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I know it's a horrible thing to say but if real life breakup was needed to push ian into trashing delena,so be it.Ian has a great pull of this show's creators and everyone knows that.so,now, finally we have a chance to move away from Delena and get that bamon relationship fully going.I hate elena and i wouldn't be sad if she leaves after this season-another fine way to end this ship.Sorry but you know how i feel-i will hate them together till the end of days.I am loving damon this season, however so ian should stay till the end but nina needs to go.She's just phoning it in now-a-days!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Do you watch Hannibal-Now that's dark.The Following is a comedy.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hire a show runner away from FX and cut the seasons to 13 episodes. Would love to see Kurt Sutter's take on SPN.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I meant to start Hannibal but too.many.shows. for my work schedule...lol.I stopped watching The Following after S2..not sure how it is now but I had to stop..lol.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Take my friendly suggestion-make some time out of your bust schedule.I sure did and i'm telling you,you will not regret it!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I thought you loved DE...sorry..we are in the same boat. really dont think he hates DE because my theory (which I get alot of hate for) is that Nian was PR for the show. They won awards for the network and it got recognition.I started to like (gosh to type that hurt my fingers) Damon this season as well but once he is around Elena I cringe.Unfortunately I dont think Nina is going to leave as the story centres around her and I somehow feel that Ian was the one who hadnt signed on early.if these interviews are anything to take from it.I think Bamon would be much better ,he lights up around her..lol.If as Ian says that DE is over soon..well so much fall out is coming.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I´m surprised how many people even think for just a tiny little second that a relationship between Damon and Bonnie is even possible, I mean, Ian can say whatever he wants, but Julie and Caroline are teh ones that decide and they´ll do whatever they want, Julie may not like Delena but she knows that´s what sells, Delena is a worldwide phenomenon, Delena has won millions of polls, physical awards and a lot of mentions in TV and all, she is not gonna break them up, and Caroline loves Delena, it´s her favourite ship. Do u still think they´ll do Bamon, it´s a sin to even think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yup...woke u this morning and saw a screen shot saying that when Mama Salvatore meets Bonnie shes going to tell her that there is a load of clothes in the corner to be washed(paraphrased). They just do not care.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I agree with you about nina not leaving, however i wish she would. Her performance/acting is so bad now-a-days,i can't believe she's the same woman who played katherine!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well,i don't want to point finger at anyone,i read a comment about caroline dries in this very thread who said she shouldn't leave coz she writes great delena scenes!WTF!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Agree..her acting is not as good this season .I realised it after they killed off Katherine (big mistake iIMO) .She doesnt try as hard and as you said phones it in,There is no genuine feeling anymore from any of the cast actually..except Damon when he is around Bonnie..that hug was awesome..lol.Maybe Nina is tired? She played three different characters last season..well..so did Paul ..but maybe she felt it worse? Not even sure.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sin for delena fandom, maybe for certainly not for the rest of us.I'll always pray for delena breakup for good and nothing is changing that.I have encountered many horrible TV couples but these two are on another league altogether. So,we'll agree to disagree on this one.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nina is not tired, she´s said she is loving playing Elena this season

    ReplyDelete
  53. No one is forcing her hand to stay on the show.If you're over it,move on and spare us the melodrama,if you know what i mean!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Farewell Parks and Rec21 March 2015 at 13:09

    TVD and Reign.

Was has steadily declined the other is just a mess, CW's worst show by a wide margin today.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Qwerty1212 no.221 March 2015 at 13:09

That wouldn't even surprise me, they have no self-consciousness left, they just think they are the best and always know best... Sure, that's why the ratings keep dropping, because you are so damn great...

    ReplyDelete
  56. It is a sin, bc one thing is wishing they make Bamon happen, and another one is to think they´ll even consider for a second doing it, it´s common sense IMO

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lol...agree.Unless she doesnt like acting with Ian anymore...who knows?..but alot of people are picking up on it.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Qwerty1212 no.221 March 2015 at 13:10

Good thing I don't have a twitter, the shipper wars there are the worst...

    ReplyDelete
  59. I saw that interview...however what she says and what people have picked up are showing to be two different things. Her scenes look as if she is phoning it in.

    ReplyDelete
  60. That is what I wanted to post.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I like Captain Swan too much on OUAT and ship them together but that doesn't mean i would ignore all the shortcomings of the show in general and wouldn't bother myself with any other development if i get my quota of my ship on a daily basis. That's my problem with this ship.Baring a few ones, they have no bother that what happens to the show as long as their precious ship is intact!

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's clear The CW PR Zedi got to her.It certainly wouldn't help the network ratings if their once flagship show's leading lady starts saying she's over the show in her interviews!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I guess the show has become so shipper focused and not storyline focused that the people that were there for the early season and stayed for the storyline jumped shipped. The others may be shippers that felt disrespected by the writers .What I dont appreciate is that you should get in an interview/s and state that you do not write for ratings and when the ratings rise you make a public statement and rejoice.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Well, I appreciate when a writer pulls the best in a couple and shows it on screen, and I don´t have any problem with the storylines she has made with S5 and 6, so, why can´t I say I suport her??

    ReplyDelete
  65. Qwerty1212 no.221 March 2015 at 13:19

Exactly, I wish more people were thinking like this. I love bamon but frankly one of the biggest reasons for it is that it just works. They don't have to stretch the story to make it work, it works and it works very well. Now if they were to butcher the show to just somehow make it happen, just to give us our portion of fan service, I would absolutely hate it. Why can't there be more concern for what is good for the story and not just the opinions of show runners/fans? THAT would imho help with the ratings...

    ReplyDelete
  66. True..and JP said she would like how many other season? For that to happen she needs to get back to the premise of the show which were Vampire and Diaries, the supernatural, relationships yes but those are not the focus and stories that flow not the disjointed stuff to please a fan base.Hello..rainkiss!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Julie is't Ian/Damon's fan,(Kevin is) She is Paul/Stefan/Dafen's fan, but she and Caroline Dries don't have enough ability to deal with the storyline. They are awful showrunners !

    ReplyDelete
  68. julie's Plec's Tweet-It's all very fascinating, really.

I guess both work, depending on whether you consider a shipper name a singular unit or a pair.

Delena Are Crazy In Love is trending in a large amount of countries right now,and I'm sitting here wondering if it's meant to be Are or Is?
When this are the tweets of a full ass grown woman's tweet, even the almighty can't help us sane fans!

    ReplyDelete
  69. What? Julie has no love or maybe only a tiny little love for Ian, she´s always saying she loves working with Nina, Paul and Joshep

    ReplyDelete
  70. I never said you shouldn't support her,by all means go for it but your yourself wrote the reason for her wanting to stay on the show.Great Delena scenes,so it doesn't matter if the show goes don the drain the process?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Isn't it strange that the poll results are in the exact same order as the shows were originally listed, as if the results were a foregone conclusion?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Urgh, don't get me started on that horrible rainkiss scene,i almost threw up in my mouth during that scene!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Of course not, I put that in the comment bc that´s the main reason I like her. When I start feeling like the show is dying I´ll say it, but I´m not feeling it at all

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh you saw that as well...lol.The show is shipper focused now.Storylines be damned. The DE stans cried last week saying that they have not had any DE scenes in a while and now bamm...this weeks' promo DE in shower type scene.Wondering if the next promo will show SC in a bed...lol

    ReplyDelete
  75. I've noticed that with a lot of polls of this poll type. The options are almost always listed in order from most votes to least even before you vote.

    ReplyDelete
  76. They show what sells the most, deal with it

    ReplyDelete
  77. So now we others can't even wish for our own ship? Are you kidding me?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I fast forwarded...lol...gosh...

    ReplyDelete
  79. I just said it´s ok to wish it, but I don´t think people should start giving crap to Delena bc they think Bamon has a shot, bc they don´t, not in any way

    ReplyDelete
  80. I would probably like that scene only coz it gives me an opportunity to see ian.damon semi-naked,too bad it isn't on Starz/HBO!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Why would you say that Bamon does not have a shot?I think any pairing on this show has a shot....and ..Oh Ive been giving crap to DE since S1 ,when Damon said he wished her dead, when Damon grabbed her because SE tried to trick him abt the tomb and when Damon tried to kiss her at the football game.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Again that's your personal opinion, not a proven fact.Bamon can still happen-i for one, certainly never thought stefan would end up in bed with cariline after the pilot said that dialouge-It's never gonna happen. So,change is inevitable in shows like this.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Because of what I said in my other comment, read before u say anything:

I´m surprised how many people even think for just a tiny little second that a relationship between Damon and Bonnie is even possible, I mean, Ian can say whatever he wants, but Julie and Caroline are teh ones that decide and they´ll do whatever they want, Julie may not like Delena but she knows that´s what sells, Delena is a worldwide phenomenon, Delena has won millions of polls, physical awards and a lot of mentions in TV and all, she is not gonna break them up, and Caroline loves Delena, it´s her favourite ship. Do u still think they´ll do Bamon? it´s a sin to even think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  84. And she slapped him, damn!I cheered for that woman back then and now, sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Im dealing with it..and so are most viewers..who are tuning out ...lol.I'll watch tho in the hope that there is a story next week and not just four bodies writhing .

    ReplyDelete
  86. IMO, that was the pilot, nothing was clear back then, ships weren´t fully formed, etc. Now it´s all clear, and they are not touching Delena

    ReplyDelete
  87. I dont know...Ian doesnt really do it for me naked or with clothes on...lol

    ReplyDelete
  88. By next week I suppose you mean next month cause TVD comes back in April 16th. And we´ll see how Stefan responds to his mother being alive and all, and if there´s not much going on, then the world won´t end, bc a seaosn has 22 eps and every show with that amount episode has some filler episodes

    ReplyDelete
  89. Well, it wouldn´t be his first time bc he´s already been on an HBO show haha

    ReplyDelete
  90. I didnt read the "other" comment but now that you have state such I will go back up or is it down ?and read it and educate myself.I was just responding to what you said above.Yes DE is a worldwide phenomenon but watch the ratings since they got together ...although ratings dont seem important to the writers as they claim...those have taken a plunge and continue to not be able to reach the 2 mill mark.As for Bamon...it was canon in the books so what is so wrong with a show which is supposed to be based on the books showing Bamon in a romantic relationship. As Ian said ...DE will not last ..thank God ..and I think it wont because no ship is allowed to remain happy for a long time on this show.Apparantly I am not alone in my thinking as many have said they will start back watching when the pairing is over.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Is that so?Let's wait and watch.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yeah...you caught me there....the next episode not next week. But there should be more than just a ship focus on the show.S1-3/4 had solid storylines only for S5 t come in and rebuff those and S6 is on the same path.Maybe end of S6 will shed some light?

    ReplyDelete
  93. Arrow could use a new show runner alongside Marc Guggenheim. I still love Arrow but there are so many plot holes and ooc moments they push in just get a desired outcome. Sara's murder mystery, the whole Malcolm arc- from Thea leaving with him, Oliver letting him walk away in ep 4, Oliver going to Nanda Parbat to save him to Oliver giving him asylum at the loft forcing Thea to face her abuser every day, Hong Kong flashbacks are few examples. Arrow is still a highly entertaining show. But it requires someone who can polish the story lines and tighten the scripts.

Laurel in one episode advises Thea to act against Malcolm, supports her decision to give Malcolm up to Ra's and even tries to kill the man herself. Then very next episode she goes to the loft where Thea and Malcolm is and berates Thea for trying to kill her father and worries about Thea's mental state. She does not try to harm Malcolm this episode. So what does Laurel want now? Malcolm dead, not dead... What is it? It's lazy writing at its best. They wanted Thea to say to Laurel she is lucky to have Quentin as a father but the way they went about that was stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  94. As I said, Julie and Carline couldn´t care less what Ian thinks of Delena, they do what they want. TVD separated from the books already in S1. The show hasn´t reached 2 millions in a long time bc it has 6 years, bc get bored and S5, as they said was horrible, and I can understand that, that´s why it´s gone down

    ReplyDelete
  95. Lol..thanks.First time Ive spent so much time on this site and soon have to get up to do wifely duties...lol

    ReplyDelete
  96. JP has no love for Ian? Ok.

    ReplyDelete
  97. And why do you think season 5 was horrible?Coz of constant delena melodrama & a lame villain.

    ReplyDelete
  98. There´s main, and then there´s secondary, and Delena is the main couple of the show, always has IMO and now Steroline is a pretty much a main couple too

    ReplyDelete
  99. He didn't earlier for me,but this season i'm rediscovering his hotness.LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Lame villain yes, but I don´t have a problem with the Delena melodrama in S5, so I´m not the best person to answer that

    ReplyDelete
  101. At least we all agree Markos was the worst villain to ever set foot in Mystic Falls!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Don't worry,i didn't miss that show.

    ReplyDelete
  103. And we also love Captain Swan hehe

    ReplyDelete
  104. I hope for your sake and the sake of the DE stans who bully and give death threats to people on twitter that you are correct and that Bamon doesnt happen. As for the excuse that VD is in its 6th Season and the ratings ...kindly take a look at SPN which is in its 10th Season ,its not reaching the 2 mill mark but its still doing better than VD.VD got almost three million viewers in S5 ,when they advertised..the rippahhhh....since then it has been dropping constantly.People want to see storylines, yes with a little romance but solid make sense ..have you wondering storylines.I really ,really hope that Bamon doesnt happen for stans of DE cause .....

    ReplyDelete
  105. See,another thing we agree on!

    ReplyDelete
  106. IMO they dropped the silas-amara-qetsiayh arc way too soon.Episode 7 and all of them got killed-seriously,writers?

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hahaha!Agreed.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Supernatural. It was as a show about two brothers but not anymore.

Dean is the main character of Supernatural and Sam is a supporting character – in some ways more prominent than Cas or Crowley because he appears in every episode but a supporting character nevertheless.

It started in season nine particularly towards the latter half of the season. (Sam was pretty absent at the beginning on season nine but on the other hand the actor played two roles so when Gadreel was in control, Sam was out for the count. I guess some would consider that good enough exploration of Sam as a character.)

At the beginning of season ten, it looked like the balance had been more or less restored. Dean was a demon and Sam was a hunter trying to find out what had happened to his dead brother. But once regular Dean was back, Sam being on the sidelines became even more evident, especially from episode 10.07 Girls, Girls, Girls onwards.

  109. I know, Qetsiyah was hilarous, would have liked for her to stay alive longer

    No love indeed...!!

    ReplyDelete
  111. No, it reorganizes them when the votes come in with this new section. I know because I wrote yesterday's poll, and had the options in alpabetical order by first name. Anthony Anderson came in towards the bottom.

    ReplyDelete
  112. THIS!!...I enjoyed Qetsiyah..Amara..loved Ninas' acting here...I love Paul so I loved Silas...lol....then they had Elena who is supposed to be the protagonist commit suicide for love.I remember after the end of S5 alot of viewers were like Im done with this just because of what had happened. The show can come back to me just fire the show runners.Theyve done it on other shows .

    ReplyDelete
  113. She was great, amara was kinda meh, silas was a lot of fun.Paul sure looked like he enjoyed playing that character a lot!

    ReplyDelete
  114. I See Dead People21 March 2015 at 13:55

Whoever put that The 100 needs a new show runner is out of their minds.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Very well said.I'm a dean fanboy but even i can't argue with this.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Reign, without a doubt. I've never seen a show damaged beyond repair like that, just because of its showrunner's arrogance. Laurie McCarthy has literally admitted in interviews to raping Mary to punish Francis and to push her into Condé's arms. How has she not been fired on the spot? A literal mystery to me.

    ReplyDelete
  117. How is this show getting an early renewal every year-bigger mystery!

    ReplyDelete
  118. He looks like he wants to push her down and run. I would.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Reign and TVD need better show runners.thursday night tv on the cw is a mess and the ratings and viewers are starting to show that

    ReplyDelete
  120. LMFAOOO at the ppl who voted The 100, Arrow, and The Flash those shows are fine

    ReplyDelete
  121. God, yes. It's not even like it's a commercial success, because I never saw a show plummet so quickly to its death. People have been voting TVD in this poll but clearly something is working better for that show as the ratings are better than Reign's (I don't watch TVD so I don't know what the showrunner is worth, but ratings don't usually lie.)

    ReplyDelete
  122. SPN.... Eric needs to come back and fix it!

Also I'd take Julie Plec off any decision making role, but that's because I think she's a lousy storyteller in general. But her shows are doing 'kay, so that aint' happening...

    ReplyDelete
  123. And there we have it.When Stelena was the main couple of the show what happened. We didnt have them in our face constantly..we knew they were a couple and they showed it .They didnt need to be in every scene ...not even together but the viewers still felt the connection.Storylines were fluent then ,that kept the viewer engaged and coming back for more not just for the Stelena romance. S1-3/4 actually had storylines and actually I preferred the relationship between DE back then as friends because Elena as a human was in her truest self. That said we knew that they had to explore the DE ship but it has taken over the series because of shipper needs.By doing this they have alienated other viewers by not giving the other cast members a proper role.We had Caroline who hated Damon and DE because of how Damon treated her, a fangirl for Stelena now a fangirl for Delena ,rewrite to please a fanbase.Too many inconsistencies which non shipper and shipper viewers have noticed and decided to jump ship until the writers fix what theyve done.I am a shipper of a couple on the show but that doesnt mean I want their love/hate story in every episode ,taking over what should be the storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yh that's what I meant. I didn't mean before anyone votes, I meant before any person votes when there are already votes counted.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Supernatural! Please oh please.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'm guessing one of the many people who stopped watching it?

    ReplyDelete
  127. Definitely Supernatural. It needs to go back to what the show was good for. This whole drama about which brother is going to die this season and the other brother trying to prevent it from happening has gotten old. Can't they just hunt demons and monsters. The show isn't scary anymore. It's like Grey's Anatomy without the sex.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Oh ok, sorry. I understand now.

    ReplyDelete
  129. TVD is still pulling 0.7/0.8 in it's 6th season and that's not bad at all but it's a sharp drop the 1.2/1.3's they were doing last season.Whereas Reign was never a success to begin with.

    ReplyDelete
  130. At least now it´s almost even with last year. 5x17: 0.8 6x17: 0.7

    ReplyDelete
  131. I would be very happy if it doesn't go below 0.6 this season.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I only watch Arrow, Flash and The 100, and the only one I can even imagine that could eventually beneffit from a showrunner change is Arrow, but I'm not comfortable saying that; for starters, season 3 has been a bit lackluster, but it is still miles better than season 1. If this is just a little step back from season 2 and can get as good on season 4, there's absolutely zero need for the showrunner change.

Plus, I can't imagine Arrow not being led by its current showrunners

    ReplyDelete
  133. Supernatural. I LOVE this show - but it's just not the series it once was. Suspense and chills are no-existent now. The angels are a big bore. Wish they'd spend some money on classic rock too!

    ReplyDelete
  134. There will never be a better showrunner for The 100 than Jason Rothenberg; the man is bold and ruthless, and that's what the show needs to be. And he can always manages to squeeze a bit of hope when things are looking too depresing. He has an impressive skill at running the show

    ReplyDelete
  135. SupNat.. it is a disaster since season 6... TVD is very good, season 6 is good!

    ReplyDelete
  136. they definitely need a male showrunner to offset those two.

    ReplyDelete
  137. You and me both :)

    ReplyDelete
  138. REIGN, without a doubt. The ratings are very telling.

    ReplyDelete
  139. TVD lost over 24% in the demo this season. This is only topped by Reign and TheOriginals who rating wise is the biggest loser this season.
    http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/cw-2014-15-season-ratings-34237/

    ReplyDelete
  140. Supernatural needs a good change.
TVD: I'd like a showrunner who would focus on the storylines more than on the ships though season 6 is being great so far.

    ReplyDelete
  141. I would say Arrow would benefit from showrunners that are not involved in so many other projects.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Maybe, but then it would be hard to keep track on what is going on with said projects and how it affects the universe Arrow is in. What happens on The Flash and the new spin off show has ripples as to what happens on Arrow, so in a way it is needed for the showrunner to be involved

    ReplyDelete
  143. I mean AK barely even cares for Arrow. Greg Berlanti has all this other stuff. And he is mostly involved in the season concept not specific storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  144. It's not just the victims who are stupid. The Following Feds are so bad, they are the measuring stick I use for all other TV characters' incompetence.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Agree 100% about Supernatural, although I like this season better than any other Jeremy Carver had his fingers on.

    ReplyDelete
  146. That's the most annoying feature of this new poll system for me. It automatically arranges the choices by vote order so it is no longer in the order the poll creator put it. It's frustrating when your doing Best Scene and the choices are listed chronologically.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I have to say Beauty and the Beast. Season 1 was epic- season 2 with a new Showrunner was a disaster! We miraculously got a season 3 due to the

    ReplyDelete
  148. I think Carina MacKenzie and Michael Narducci are the ones really running The Originals at the moment and I wish at least one of them could be replaced.

If Plec's guilty of pandering to loud fans, the Narducci/Mackenzie combo is guilty of not knowing when a storyline isn't working (see werewolves). I also think they're lousy at conveying a real sense of family. They depend almost entirely on the baby plot to keep the characters connected. Just like children can't save a marriage in real life, it shouldn't be used as glue for fictional characters, either.

I'm not surprised they're bleeding viewers and I don't blame the timeslot.

    ReplyDelete
  149. it's much more than that. Stefan forgave Elena and Damon way too easy, only had one scene with his own doppelganger and never even met Markos the villan who was after the doppelgangers. add to that the fact they completely retconed the doppelganger myth making the whole story pointless. this was the worst planned season ever. it's not so much that there was too much delena melodrama, its that there was nothing else of what should have been there. zero story 100% shipping.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Not surprised at all to hear TO is the biggest loser. I respect writers sticking to their gun, but there's poetic justice in watching them die by it.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Just what I wanted to say! He is a genious. Though I guess die-hard Bellarke shippers voted him down.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Laurie McCarthy is the worst show runner in TV history. Outside of this poll people are signing this petition for her removal http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/petition-for-demotion-of-laurie-mccarthy-and-new

    ReplyDelete
  153. Definitely Reign and maybe TVD, but I don't know if there's a man or woman in the world who could save that show.

    ReplyDelete
  154. TVD and Reign definitely. The Originals could also lose Julie Plec, though co-runner Michael Narducci is kinda good.
And The 100's Jason Rothenberg is the best in every way.

    ReplyDelete
  155. well thats what you get when you center your show around a magical mircale baby. Also the annoying lead is doing a great job on his own

    ReplyDelete
  156. I See Dead People21 March 2015 at 16:11

People that stopped watching it don't deserve to live in my book ;)

    ReplyDelete
  157. Klaus can be annoying as hell, but at least Morgan has an enjoyable screen presence. Morgan/Gillies scenes (when the writers remember Elijah exists) are still my favorites, simply because the actors seem to have great rapport.

But Hayley? The messiah baby? The wolves? Nah, son. They're making their own bed.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Well that's just a completely untrue statement. Arrow has Guggenheim he doesn't work on anything else. Kreisberg was on Arrow but became the showrunner for Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I do agree. This season had so many flaws we all can't even begin to count!

    ReplyDelete
  160. I'd have to say Reign. Their showrunner is an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I would say Arrow could use another show runner along side Guggenheim who is working only on this project. Next year Marc is going to be a part of Supergirl too. He needs someone along side to tell him when there are plot holes and overall make a tighter script.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Agreed. There is no one better than Jason Rothenberg. He is confident in his material and story telling abilities. Sometimes I think The 100 deserves better than CW.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I started watching TO because of Elijah, never been a Klaus fan and did not like the Hayley actress even on The Secret.

    ReplyDelete
  164. The 100, Jane the Virgin and The Flash are all doing just fine, at least creatively - no need for changes there. I feel like Arrow is suffering, at least partially, from the split focus of some of it's showrunners, so that's not so much a change in showrunners needed as hoping that Kriesberg and maybe Berlanti possibly have more involvement in the planning of Arrow next year. And for all I gripe, the show can still give us very good things when it wants to. It's been an uneven season with a few questionable overall arc decisions, not a bad one. Until we're still in this pattern again, or worse, next year, I'm not ready to say it needs saving. Just maybe some more supervision from all the showrunners.

I've never really watched The Originals, Hart of Dixie or BatB, so I can't really comment there. HoD is cancelled, though, so I guess I can say not that show pretty easily, since he/she would be doing nothing.

TVD is having a better season than the last two, which is something, but what they really need is Kevin Williamson back, and they're not getting him, so.

Supernatural is ten years old. It's not benefitting from much at this point. Sure, if Kripke came back for one last blowout season, maybe, and that's a big maybe because it's wandered pretty far off the Kripke reservation at this point. And anyway, again, they're not getting him. Maybe he'll come back for the finale, though, whenever that is. That'd be cool.

That leaves Reign. It's got a good cast and the potential of it's first season, and it's a relatively new show; it's only got one season of bad to contend with. It could potentially benefit from a new person at the helm. So that gets my vote.

    ReplyDelete
  165. Same about the first part. Elijah's my favorite Original. His MIA status this season is one of the reasons why it hasn't quite worked for me. I know Daniel Gillies was filming another show and all, but knowing why he wasn't around doesn't make his not-being-around-ness any less of a bummer.

Not to mention that when DG WAS around, they weren't doing anything interesting with his character, so there's that.

I haven't watched The Secret Circle so I can't comment on it, but Hayley's weak as far as female leads go. Just doesn't work for me.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Julie Plec for the win!

    ReplyDelete
  167. The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. Though a new show runner doesn't always help.

Things keep getting worst every time Supernatural gets a new showrunner. If Supernatural were to get a new showrunner I'd want someone new - NOT the next writer in line because that has not been working out. And it has to be someone who loves sticking to old style mythology.

  168. Verónica Tolisano21 March 2015 at 17:41

I'm a Bellarke shipper and I voted TVD so it has nothing to do with that.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with Bellarke shippers. It's just that I saw some of them hate on the show and Jason for not giving them Bellarke. Obviously not all, thankfully.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Sometimes a fanboy writing it alone isn't much better.

    ReplyDelete
  171. The 100 is doing an amazing job and i also love the bellarke ship and have great respect for the writers decisions. but have any of you have seen reign lately this season it's sort of a wreck.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Very well said.

    ReplyDelete
  173. TVD. I will never stop watching, like the show, love Damon, but I'm tired. Needs change

    ReplyDelete
  174. If I was to 'guess' ... between Julie's staying up all night tweeting random stuff and sleeping until 2pm then working to 8pm The Vampire Diaries and The Originals are being run 90% by Caroline Dries and Michael Narducci.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Because it was my Favorite show last year--and has stumbled so badly this year, I have to say that Arrow needs major changes.

At the Showrunner level, my suggestion is to ADD a second Showrunner with Marc G. More to the point, I strongly suggest the second Showrunner be a woman. Arrow has rightly earned their reputation for being female insensitive because of the narratives they give their (very capable) female actors to play--the best example being Laurel, who has never been able to gain traction with the audience because of the way she's written. I believe a female showrunner would have stepped-in and worked with the writers to make some changes, while it was still able to salvage the Laurel character. Now, I feel it's too late.

Besides being able to split some of the responsibility, having two Showrunners would allow Arrow to spot some of the sloppy plotting, wasted characters, and confusing theme development that has plagued Season 3. [BTW, Season 2 was so strong, that S3 was bound to be a let-down...but it didn't have to be this bad.]

Lastly, I suggest that the Arrow Showrunner(s) re-tool the Writers Room--and make ALL of the writers involved in S4 to watch Agent Carter (That is showrun by Marc's wife) in order to get a feel for how to develop multiple characters, themes, and storylines.

  176. He worked on Xmen comics. Now he will be writing Secret Wars tie-in X-Tinction Agenda. He is also involved with Vixen. He will be also involved in the new spin-off with Brandon Routh & Caity Lotz.

    ReplyDelete
  177. I'd love to see that, especially let's say season 7 would be its last.

    ReplyDelete
  178. I think she's more of a Damon fan. 😂

    ReplyDelete
  179. 53 people voted for the 100? LOL WHAT!? Anyways i voted for arrow, TVD and supernatural. All three of these shows flopped big time due to showrunner changes.

    ReplyDelete
  180. WHO voted for The 100????? Crazy people! Jason Rothenberg is brilliant!!!

    ReplyDelete
  181. Even a blind man could sense that at this point but that's not the problem. She can't write for stefan so she has found an easy and age old solution-ignore the character and push into the background with the useless ones like matt, tyler etc. That's not acceptable.

    ReplyDelete
  182. TVD hands-down. Nothing else comes close.

    ReplyDelete
  183. First, Arrow hasn't changed showrunners. Second, Arrow is having its best season ratings-wise. Just because a vocal online minority likes to trash the show regularly doesn't mean it's having a bad year.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Arrow is doing just fine. No show is going to please everyone (evident by the handful of votes against The Flash in this poll and the constant over-the-top Arrow criticism this season), and the online dissenters tend to bark louder than everyone else. The show is having it's best ratings. If the general consensus was that this was a bad season, that wouldn't be the case.

I do worry slightly for next year when the showrunners will be spreading themselves across four superhero shows instead of two, along with all the other non-superhero projects they are involved in. But until the shows start suffering in content (and currently Arrow and Flash are not), there's no reason to preemptively start bashing them.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Arrow originally had Marc and Andrew, but Andrew left for Flash. Flash, unsurprisingly, has been amazing so far. I didn't mean it flopped ratings wise, I meant for the overall story line of season 3. And it's definitely not an online minority, almost everyone can agree that season 3 has been full bad character decisions, inconsistencies, fan pandering and dragged out story lines.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Trust me-SPN does along with Reign!

    ReplyDelete
  187. Samantha Renee ღ21 March 2015 at 21:13

I'm sorry but there should only be ONE option on this pole: Reign. Laurie, we are sick of your shit. Get OUT.

    ReplyDelete
  188. Andrew is still showrunning Arrow also. And your dislike of the current storyline does not mean the show is having a bad season. Nor does it mean that the majority agrees with your characterization of the season. If that were the case, the ratings would be affected. The show is having its best-ever ratings, so there is absolutely no reason for the network or the showrunners to change anything — the vocal online minority notwithstanding.
