    Yeah I know, so she comes back for the finale or close to it, but she didn't for her brother's funeral a while, I find that weird.

    Emily's letter to Charlotte is one of the more intriguing things this season and bringing Charlotte back would be the best way to reveal what was said in the letter and it would be interesting to see if Charlotte and Emily could develop somewhat of a sisterly relationship.

    I guess, but it still seems strange that they didn't bring her back for the funeral and chose to bring her back to what seems to be the finale or close to it.

    I'm glad. Her character got ruined this and last season, but she's still Emily's sister and a signicant part of the story. Hopefully she'll get better parts than lately, so she won't be hated that much.

    The director of an episode usually has 7 days to prep the outside and that is done while the cast is filming the previous episode. It is very likely the writers gave the cast the finale script while they are shooting the previous episode or two. So Samy could be right and they are filming 4.21 but it is probably more likely they just started filming 4.22.

    Oh.. I forgot there were 23 episodes this season. To me, 4x21 is the episode before the season finale so my guess is they're shooting now 4x22 since it's not the season finale
    ... :-)

    She was probably told so by the writers, but they may have changed their minds. They seemed to think Charlotte had nothing more to offer. But a lot of people on twitter wanted her to return, to develop her relationship with David and Emily because like they are her family and we got little scenes between them and then she left. Which was a very weird move for the writers. Many people like myself was looking forward to her relationship with Emily because Emily clearly loved and wanted to protect her as soon as she found out she was her sister. Not to mention WHAT DID EMILY WRITE HER IN THE LETTER. it's all very frustrating really.
