Lol I am happy I quit this show

  4. Fine by me. Her screen time is better spent being allocated elsewhere... just not to Barbara Gordon, please.

  5. I love her character she was one of my favorite but in my opinion the show didn't really know what to do with her character

  6. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo 😭😭😭! I might stop watching after this . I mean what the heck are the producers thinking ? Gotham will surely hit a 1.5 after this

    sounds like...some bad blood
I stopped watching mainly because I can't stand Bruce and wouldn't want to destroy my love for Batman by watching this little sh*t grow up. Fish was interesting though so that's unfortunate.

However...creating an original character JUST for her just to see her leave the next season is sorta 'meh' on my part.

  8. Wow!Looks like i made the right decision when i dropped the show mid-season.Season 2 will drop hard!

  9. Her contract was probably only for a year.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah still...kind of a waste to create an original character just to drop that newly created source of potential storylines after 18 episodes.

  11. They shouldn't have announced this. Leave it for a good finale shocker.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Because of one character leaving?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yessss!!! Ha!! I knew it!! And everyone that said I was wrong, can kiss my ass. Ha! I don't even care how she leaves, just go.

  14. I think it was obvious she was a one season character.
The show needs the rise of the Penguin.

  15. Begs the question: Why does her character exist?

I quit mid-season, but I've caught a few minutes here and there since. While the Fish Mooney character seems to eat up A LOT of screentime, she still seems devoid of pertinence in the Gotham mythology. Was her character just to get a prominent actress on the show? Did her presence really help this abomination of a show much? Outside of the tween characters, Fish and Butch were pretty much the worst thing about this show when I watched. Maybe this was realized and everyone decided it was best to nix the character.

  16. Who made the show somewhat lively and spicy. The whole show is so bland except Penguin of course but that's not a reason enough to continue through this snooze fest.Once again, that's just me.No one has to agree with me.

  17. I'm not surprised. Unlike Falcone & Maroni, Fish was not a character from the comics so I've always thought her purpose might be to be the character that they could kill off.

  18. Hmm. The way she has been at odds with Penguin and Falcone, it would be quite organic if her character ends this season. Let's hope they give Fish a good exit.

  19. She was the worst part of the show--thank God she is gone.

What? She is one of the only characters I really enjoy! May not keep up with it then... I like Gotham but I haven't loved it and every time I get into it they take a break

Oh, thank god!!! I just can't stand her, and by her I mean Fish not Jada, but since no Jada will mean no Fish, YAY to that!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank God.

  23. I love Fish, she is so much fun and I love her scenes with Penguin. I hate that this was announced before the end of the season because now its pretty obvious she is going to die, no suspense.

    ReplyDelete
  24. What?!?! Why? I loved Fish!

  25. "Was her character just to get a prominent actress on the show?"

I think it's that. They created a character for a big name actress to create buzz for the show.

  26. I've quit mid-season, because even my love for Fish couldn't make me watch this anymore. I guess now I have no reason to go back to this show.

Maybe she wants to have a film career. Hope it will open the door for her to return.

  28. Maybe this a "desperate" attmpt to pull viewers back in to see what happens with her. It will tough to bring her back to the city and kille her in just 4 eps.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Good, you're easily one of the more annoying parts of the show.

  30. HTGAWMRevengeOUAT6 March 2015 at 22:35

I also quit mid-season! I doubt this show will last very long

    ReplyDelete
  31. HTGAWMRevengeOUAT6 March 2015 at 22:37

Totally agree. This show will not make it past season 2

    ReplyDelete
  32. Don't really know how I feel about this...

    ReplyDelete
  33. What do you have against Bruce? The kid just lost both parents. He's not going to be perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh. I get it. It's not Bruce you hate, but just that part of his life. My confusion came from the fact that you called him a "little shit."

    ReplyDelete
  35. Exactly, comes from my inability to enjoy kids in action movies.

    Oh, I'm just a vulgar ahole, don't worry :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. How is she not a fan favorite ? Yes she has haters but she has more fans than a lot of characters on the sho

    ReplyDelete
  37. Already lasted tooooo long, I can't stand Fish. Please let her be gone for real and forever!

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's funny how the first two comments say that Fish is their favorite/least favorite character.,

    .

    ReplyDelete
  39. Perhaps. I thought Gotham was holding steady ratings wise though. I don't know, maybe Jada wasn't happy and wanted to move on.

    ReplyDelete
  40. They are doing steady in the ratings, but they dropped quite from the initial numbers.
I just think it is to random to announce the departure at this point. Maybe she wants to raise her salary during the upcoming negotiations. Who knows!? It's a crazy world.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I only watch for 2 characters mainly. (Not Penguin) and I found a third reason.. Barbara suffers. Haha other than that I really don't care for this "snoozefest' either. I won't be watching season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Oh no, I liked Fish :( And I wanted her to end up with Bullock so bad...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Honestly I like Fish and I think Jada Pinkett Smith gives a hell of a performance but it feels like a good option for the show to have her history conclude with a bang and move on. It has always felt to me a bit like it was an accessory storyline and the show would probably gain from the additional focus that removing her would allow. So I am okay with this.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I highly disagree. The ratings are very good and it is getting better creatively in my opinion. Why would it end next year?
