    ReplyDelete
  7. That's disappointing. I hate it when shows end of cliff-hangers.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ridiculous decision by Lifetime, makes absolute zero sense! SMFH

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'd rather Freya had been recast or reborn or reincarnated (lol) .. I liked the show, couldn't stand the character (or the actress)

    ReplyDelete
  10. WHY?! I just started watching this show and it was getting so good!

    ReplyDelete
  11. A cancellation not done on a Friday?

    Aw, what a shame!! :(

    ReplyDelete
  18. No!!!! Please tell me this is bad joke!!! It can't end that way!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Aw Man.I kinda saw it coming( lower ratings than the first season and Lufetime picked up three new shows I think), but man to end on all those clffhanger-( Ingrud pregnant with Dass baby,Dash swapping bodies with Killan,Wendy sacrificing her last life for Tommy,Freddie dead) that stinks.

    ReplyDelete
  20. They are seriously having a laugh with this. Absolutely ridiculous!

    ReplyDelete
  21. bad move by lifetime im gonna miss seeing Jenna Dewan Tatum

    ReplyDelete
  22. man that's just one more reason why lifetime sucks

    ReplyDelete
  23. yeah that's it for me as well... I stopped watching years ago.. when they canceled
Blood Ties......and I came back when they started this show... they must love driving viewers away

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow I'm shocked. It was such a good show too. Silly move Lifetime. I really thought it was getting another season too. Damnit.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Seriously, Lifetime? Are U kidding me? This has to be a joke...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Oh, I found my mate!!! You watched Blood Ties.. I could never get over that cancellation...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Please tell me this is a joke! Seriously?!! Please someone else pick it up!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I know Lifetime has Un-Real upcoming, the Omen limited series by Oct 2015, and Lizzie Borden picked up, but I am not seeing a commitment to year round scripted programming when the network only has one returning show left.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I wanted to say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO but since almost everyone said it.. I'll abstain from this. Seriously Lifetime????? Nowhere during season two, I and we didn't feel the show was in danger!! Now we will never find out who Helena was. Sorry Freya, you will not reunite with Killian anytime soon. At least not in this lifetime. #sad #bummer

  30. Bertha Strongham4 November 2014 at 23:31

So sad. This show was not the best but it was hugely entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  31. But dammit I just remembered they have that Damien show coming up which I wanted to check out. Now I'm torn. Le sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  32. yeah I loved that show....

    ReplyDelete
  33. Me too. I'll add this to most shocking cancellation together with Blood Ties and The Secret Circle..

    ReplyDelete
  34. I was pissed about the death of frederick & was thinking of dropping it next season but cancellation was not expected!Surprised!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I absolutely loved the show in the beginning, but season 2 came along it SUCKED. Little disappointed it's been canceled.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes! I need my Killian and Frederick fix!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I can't believe omg soooooo sad

    ReplyDelete
  38. Bertha Strongham5 November 2014 at 00:03

I was not a fan of Killian or his brother....

But Frederick was a hottie for sure. I hope he gets another gig on US TV, soon!

I watch sooo many of these shows....its not a good sign if I can't really remember the characters names or whats really going on in the show.

    Fred could get it tho!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bertha Strongham5 November 2014 at 00:04

I'm with you. Fred was the best thing about the show.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I so loved his beaten-puppy-look. Made me want to hug him tight.

    ReplyDelete
  41. DAMNIT how can they cancel the only decent show they have?
    so sadd

    ReplyDelete
  42. This news is so sad.

I stopped watching the show a while back. Not because I thought it was bad, but simply because I didn't have time to watch it and because there were a lot of other shows I wanted to watch first.

However, I always had the intention of going back to it and I had no clue the ratings were slipping. So sad it's cancelled now. This show was my new Charmed and to see it go so quickly makes me really sad. :(

*Thank God Lifetime renewed Devious Maids! Also, their new shows sound kind of interesting..,*

    ReplyDelete
  43. Damn, I miss SO much Blood Ties!! U.U

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ironic that this news comes on the heels of the favorite character poll yesterday. I'm a bit miffed, but not entirely surprised considering the declining ratings. Aside from Charmed, shows centered around witches, my favorite supernatural entities, don't have a great track record on television.

    ReplyDelete
  45. these were much better than some cliffhangers that most shows are canceled on at least.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Perhaps they're reverse their decision like they did for that show about the dead angel lawyer girl?

    ReplyDelete
  47. you;re right. but as far as witch shows go this was the best one yet imo

    ReplyDelete
  48. noooooooooooooooooooooooo, F*ck you lifetime, why cancel the best show you have on air?

    ReplyDelete
  49. That doesn't make sense. It was announced last month that it got renewed. Why did lifetime suddenly decide to go back on the renewal?

    ReplyDelete
  50. NO! WTF! NO! why they couldnt leave it for another season! WHAT!? can this please be a mistake? D:

    ReplyDelete
  51. Bertha Strongham5 November 2014 at 01:12

You can hug him....I will of course imagine to do other things!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Bertha Strongham5 November 2014 at 01:13

Agreed, they should at least finish up and close up storylines....now we will never know....ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Christopher DeBono5 November 2014 at 01:20

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

    ReplyDelete
  54. Kristi Hungerford5 November 2014 at 01:33

damn u lifetime theres a reason i hate your channel u keep killin good shows

    ReplyDelete
  55. I hope fan petitions can help bring the show back; it's happened before just like drop dead diva! Let's do this fans!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I just wish they didn't end with those story cliffhangers. That is so frustrating when a show is cancelled and so many things are left in the air. For me, the worst is that the show ended with Wendy dead and in hell.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't know why but I didn't see this comming! I know it wasn't really good but I really liked it and I need to have at leat one witchy show per year!

    ReplyDelete
  58. They made a big mistake it was the only show I ever watched on that channel and I'm sure now a lot of people will quit watching it because nothing good is on there anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nooo, I loved that show and season 2 ended with so much unaswered questions!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I kind of did too. What tipped me off was that a season two was renewal was announced seven episodes into the first season, but there was no news of a season three renewal during the entire 13-episode run of season two. I had misgivings it was because Lifetime wasn't too keen on giving in another chance, and I was right (unfortunately).

    ReplyDelete
  61. They never announced this show was renewed for season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  62. This is so unfair!It was a good show!!!I can't understand iit,really. It's very frustarting.

    ReplyDelete
  63. They are STUPID or WHAT .......!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm guessing the costs of production outweighed the profits or potential profits or something?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Oh, I tried to stay cordial here. My mind thinking it and my saying it, is two different things! But since you said it, I'll approve. Here's hoping that Frederick won't blindfold you ;).

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yeah, I liked discussing with you on your reviews.. Now that last scene with Helena and Wendy will be forever haunting me, like that secret box from Jennifer in the last scene on Desperate Housewives. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bertha Strongham5 November 2014 at 12:49

    LMAO!!!

    Flove it.

Seriously though, I hope he gets another US gig soon. He is just too pretty to not be on TV.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Devious Maids was the show renewed for a third season.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm very upset about this. I hate when networks cancel a show without giving it a proper ending. There were many cliffhangers with Witches of East End. Sooooo disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Virginia Fontana5 November 2014 at 16:05

And you always have such great things to say about the show! I know, that last scene is going to linger unanswered unless we get lucky and the show runners come out and say what would have happened. Too many cliffhangers...poor Freddie, poor Killian!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Lifetime only has two scripted shows on its network now; Devious Maids and the yet to premiere Un-Real.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Sometimes that matters but Deviuos Maids for example wasn't renewd til a couple months after season two due to behind the scenes stuff and sometimes networks want to see how thier new shows do before renewing "bubble shows" so sometimes not getting renewd right away dosent always mean cancellation though I've learned the longer after a season ends the wait to announce anything, the more Likley the news will be bad

    ReplyDelete
  73. I'm more upset than angry. Lifetime has literally one returning scripted drama on its slate now.

Perhaps Maggie will grant you a farewell interview?

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'll see what I can do, I might have to give it some time as she might be busy with other things and probably grieving the loss of yet another TV show of hers (first one being Eastwick). Maybe she can let us know what was going to happen in Season 3 so we get to know what she had planned.
