  1. Glad to see they are seem to be making reference to Nick and Adalind's connection quite a bit instead of glossing over it in two seconds like they did the zombieNick storyline last season. As much as I don't my any means like Adalind I think the connection between the two of them could end up being important to the story and getting his powers back. So please writers don't drop this plot and never reference it again like you have with some of the other plots on the show (and other tv shows are guilty of this as well).

Although I have a feeling this time they will make shout outs to their connection and actually connect it to a plot so I am feeling positive about it. Even if Adalind is an awful, terrible person who is a sucker for obvious traps.

  2. it looks like nick lost his fighting abilities too i thought he knew how to fight in any kind of martial arts even before he was a Grimm weird

  3. I'm thinking he still has some fighting abilities but he has been weakened by losing the extra grimm strength and accuracy he had from being a grimm. He was always in good shape but he got a lot of accuracy, speed and extra agility from being a grimm especially after the whole blind incident and on. It reminds me a lot of that Buffy episode when Giles had to give Buffy the test all slayers take where they take away their slayer strength and just make them a normal weaker human again. Now he's back on Hank level of fighting skills enough to fight in tough situations but not enough to win every time without getting hurt pretty bad. Good thing he has gun on him at all times I guess until then. Because now you never know when you might need it.

  4. I'm hoping there's more to this Nick-Adalind connection problem. If not then I'm disappointed. I was hoping for something a little more creative.

  5. Please just kill Adalind already, she's such a pain. And I like Sean's mother so far but if more of her means we see less of him, then I'm not a fan.
I hope Trubel stays for a while, I thought Nick having a young female sidekick would be annoying but I really like her. She wields the machette like no one else.

  6. I agree. I think the connection has potential to be really interesting but I will be disappointed too if that's it and they just magically cure it really fast in the next episode or two to never mention it again.

  7. You're assuming it means less screen time based off nothing.

  8. I agree about Trubel being awesome. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I actually find that Adalind's character adds to the show and makes it more interesting. She is definitely one of the more complex characters (along with Renard) and I think it would be a mistake to kill her off. Initially, she was portrayed as a one-dimensional, evil person. However, when Nick took away her powers, we immediately saw a more vulnerable side of her. For starters, both her mother and Renard rejected her once she lost her powers, leaving her completely alone, which is probably why she went to such great extents to get it back. Her interactions with Meisner and her baby, also showed that there was an unselfish side to her. As much as I dislike her for taking away Nick's powers, her motivation was primarily as a mother who thought that she had lost her child to the royals. So while I would never want to encounter someone like Adalind in real life, I think think that for the purposes of entertainment, she is a well-written and well-developed character.

  9. I'm assuming that if Sean's mother helps Monroe and Rosalee there is no reason for Sean to help them as well, she knows as much as he does. I just hope it's not like last season when Renard spent most of his time at his desk or on the phone.

  10. I agree Adalind is a multi-dimensional and rather well written character. My problem with her is everything she's done against Nick and Renard. It doesn't seem believable to me that they just let her live after everything she's done. And they're not the only ones she's hurt, why do the royals keep her alive?

  11. Adalind’s done a lot of bad things, but she’s also paid heavily. As for the royals, I think they are using her to locate her baby and to also get to Nick. Otherwise I’m sure they would have killed her already. Renard also has a lot of history with Adalind, and until recently, she was completely on his side, He’s also the father of her child. Other than knocking him out last season, don't think she's really done anything to hurt Renard In fact, he probably hurt her a lot more by sleeping with her mother and then telling her that she was useless to him after losing her powers. I think that Nick only helped her last season, because his mother told him to!. He's also not in the practice of killing Wessen unless it's a life or death situation.

Despite all the bad things that she tried to do to Nick, Adalind lost a lot more than Nick. Through a series of events triggered indirectly by Nick, she ended up losing her mother, her powers, Renard and now her baby. She’s basically alone, with no family or friends. And to make things worse, she's in a dark cell with large rats and no one who would care enough to save her.. Despite all of Adalind's attempts to hurt those close to him, Nick hasn’t really lost anyone, aside from his powers, which he lost for sending Adalind's boy around. Even if they were doing the right thing, no mother would see it that way.

My memory is a bit hazy, but I’m almost certain that Renard was the person who ordered Adalind to try to kill Nick’s aunt. Renard also pushed her to get involved with Hank,so that they could force Nick to give the key. Therefore, she lost her powers because she was trying to help Renard.
