    Nowadays. with ABC comedies being culled like chickens infected with bird flu, I am very, very pessimistic about this show's chances. Don't get me wrong, I am very, very eager to see this show but the way in which ABC handed over some good comedies to the Cancellation Bear as treats has left me very cynical.

    I completely and totally agree. I've seen the trailer for that over 20 times, due to showing friends (most of whom liked Apartment 23 which is by the same creator, I believe) and I laugh every single time. I really hope ABC gives that one a promotional push as big as they gave Black-ish.

    Yeah, if they are going to put it on Friday (which is very likely at this point) they need to promote it like crazy. I was secretly hoping that Black-ish would fail so that FOTB could take the post-MF slot but that's clearly not gonna happen :/

    Maybe we'll luck out and they'll place Black-ish on a hiatus and air the first couple of episodes behind Modern Family, before relocating it. Highly, highly unlikely... but I hope.
