So American Horror Story (Murder House, Asylum and Coven but NOT Freak Show)
    and GOT.
I love Orphan Black but I feel like anybody could've done its main titles....

  5. Am I the only one who thinks Mad Men should also be on that list ?

  6. Wasn't there a similar poll in few weeks ago?
Anyways, my picks from the list are True Detective and AHS. Penny Dreadful and Rectify have great opening sequences as well.

Fom the list: AHS (freak show only)

Off list: Penny Dreadful, The Leftovers, Da Vinci's Demons & Teen Wolf.

  9. Out of these the only show I watch is Orphan Black. My other vote therefore goes to Carnivale.

  10. Other - Angel, the song is kick ass. When it kicks in high gear with Angel kicking through the door - pure beauty.

  11. somebody please explain this to me, how is GoT, and Fringe, AHS a "Drama" series ?

    ReplyDelete
  12. GoT and True Detecitve take this one I just cant stop singing True Detective sequence once I hear it

    ReplyDelete
  13. The only opening sequence I watch more than once is Elementary. I like the shows that just skip that part, SPN is one that just has a title card and into the ep.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Game of Thrones, Outlander, Leftovers, Penny Dreadful and Vikings

    ReplyDelete
  15. House, Prison Break, Friday Night Lights, Teen Wolf intro, Fringe, True Detective.

  16. In a broad sense, anything that isn't a comedy is generally perceived as a drama.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Really? Only Freak Show? I said the exact opposite!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Love the Game Of Thrones opening sequence!

    ReplyDelete
  19. "Game of Thrones" & "American Horror Story"

    ReplyDelete
  20. Mad Men, yes! That man, falling past billboards.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I like Grimm. It opens with a card that reads a quote from a fairy tale. Person of Interest. The Bridge. And here's one that I DON'T like at all: Under the Dome. That cow. Yuck.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Fringe and GoT from the list and PoI off the list.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love the True Detective opening sequence, the song is so catchy. Also like the Game of Thrones and AHS ones.

  24. AHS Freak Show, in stop motion, is pretty amazing. But True Detective's is still my favorite.

  26. For me, Outlander has one of the best title sequences although from what I have seen of it, Game of Thrones is highlty impressive too.

Lol, I really love the style of it and I like the music better as well.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I LOVE the Vikings opening sequence. I like The Leftovers opening sequence as well, but more for the score than the visuals.

  32. Well, from the list:
    - Orphan Black - awful opening, I always skip it
    - Game of Thrones - after first season or ever earlier I got bored with it
    - Orange is new black - I hate the opening and don't like the show, so

For me from still airing shows best opening have Vikings, Hemlock Grove and Les Revenants.

    ReplyDelete
  33. From the list Fringe and Chuck, got to mention Bones very nice opening sequence!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Game of Thrones is really fantastic. I also love Fringe, especially because it changed with the different seasons, like Supernatural.

Game of Thrones and American Horror Story.

  36. Cannot imagine any show's opening credits ever besting Game of Thrones' , with its stirring theme music and stunningly innovative visuals -- I remember the first time I saw it I was mesmerized and dazzled. With an opening like that I knew right away that the show was going to be special.

    ReplyDelete
  37. From the list - Game of Thrones.
But my favorites are True Blood and Justified.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Vikings, yes ofcourse! I forgot to mention it. That is one of my favorites too.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Teen Wolf and Sleepy Hollow are ones that I don't fast forward.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lost all the way. How could that not be an option. Opening with jack running through the jungle onto the beach then the camera slowly revealing the devastation of the crash. Jack starts saving anyone and everyone. Expertly filmed. Easily the best opening to a tv show i have ever seen

    ReplyDelete
  41. From the list: AHS and Fringe.

Also Teen Wolf, Point Pleasant, Sleepy Hollow, Miracles.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Curious why you do not watch Game of Thrones. Not being judgmental, just wondering why.

    ReplyDelete
  43. From the list: "Fringe", "Chuck". Not from the list: "Alias", BtVS, BSG, H50 to name a few. GOT's opening sequence is great, but it's long enough to have its own opening sequence.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The only show on the list that I have seen is Chuck and I do like the open sequence for it. And since I'm old I would say for off the list, Quantum Leap. I loved the music. They put out a soundtrack for that show and I still listen to it all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Dexter. Ordinary every day things just creep me out because of it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Everyone cannot like everything which is as it should be or we would all be robots. I do not enjoy any of the Thursday night Shonda Rhimes trilogy and I understand that is heresy but I cannot help it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yep. I've watched a couple of Grey's episodes, but not really my thing. Not seen Scandal but it is on my list. How to Get Away With Murder is pretty good, though. But as you say, not everyone likes everything.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Another awesome one not on the list is Black Sails.

Surprised Halt and Catch Fire doesn't have more votes, it's one of my very favorites. However, the only one I hum along to on that list is Game of Thrones. I do think Cinemax's Hunted had an awesome opening theme. Man, I miss that show.
