  1. amazing episode! I thought this was the best of the season

  2. I understand why Maggie's upset but did she consider that Richard's still processing the news because he had a bomb dropped on him?

And ugh, I'm sick of Meredith/Derek and Calzona arguments. We don't need this much drama, damn it! Let Callie and Arizona resolve their issues for good and have a baby, damn it.

  3. 11 years of awesomeness !!
    How's that possible ??!

  5. So Alex spends ages prepping and talking about how much this means to him, and that he feels he can give something more/back to the board. Bailey spends the day confident/smug that Alex doesn't have a chance. And Bailey gets it? Seriously? And did they even give their presentations?

  6. It was a very good episode, I was surprised that Meridith found out so quickly Maggie is her sister, haven't been disappointed in this show yet, Grey's keeps delivering!!!!

  7. So everyone is unhappy right now? Why can't Shonda let anyone be happy?
Poor Alex. At least he has the shares Cristina left him.

  10. I really like the actress who plays Maggie. There's something about the way she speaks that has me believing that she could be Meredith's half-sister.

  11. I think she needs time to reevaluate that and if she does really believe what she said, but I think her reaction was very understandable. Richard has been the only friend she has made basically, and knowing it was for an ulterior motive lies on top of him being her father; it does void the confidence they have built, and that's gotta sting, at least in the moment.

  12. They obviously did their presentations; and Bailey had reason fro being confident; she HAS a longer career, and she has had some pretty good projects. This is not about someone not deserving it, or not working for it.

I do feel bad for Alex, but resenting Miranda is stupid.

  13. I wonder if Callie and Owen would end up together ...

  14. Bailey deserves this but I still wish they would've chosen Alex :(

  15. Where is the logic in this stupid thing, right? Seriously, I can't get it. Why did they need to screw with Alex again, he was fine before all this. And Bailey, OMG, I used to love her, but this made me hate her more than I think I could. Being confident is one thing, what she did was disrespect Alex, not even considering him a competition when she knows that he is good.

  16. Thank you....finally someone get what i was saying. ..
    She's awesome.

im wondering if derek voted for bailey because mer had been drinking with alex and he is kind of petty like that

i'm not saying miranda did not earn the position but professionally she is not as strong as she was in the beginning and alex has grown in that way

I agree with you so much regarding Bailey! She used to be one of my favourites because she was a badass, now she's all talk and smugness...

  20. I'm wondering if they offered both Alex and bailey a position- Or maybe, they made Alex Head of Peds- That solves the Calzona over commitment, too!

  21. I guess Shonda really is writing and giving input this season. That episode was SO good! I have to say I hate the way Meredith monopolizes Alex's time. One of the things I loved abt Burke or Derek was that they didn't push their weight around when they were outside of the hospital around the other interns. They were just regular ppl. At the same time Jo needs to speak up. She looked so pathetic outside that door. Respect yourself enough to not let Meredith disrespect you. This episode answered a lot of things as far as time goes. We now know Meredith was born in 1977 or 1978. I'm still thrown by the fact that Yang has only been gone for a week yet April already looks 4/5 months pregnant. I understand that Sarah Drew is providing an authentic baby bump but they could have given her a bigger top or lab coat and then jumped ahead in the time later on so her bump makes sense. Maybe they'll give Jackson and April twins, then the bump would make sense. I don't like what they're doing with April so far this season. Like damn is she still an intern? She's another one that needs to speak up and demand respect. I would have jumped on Amelia had she pushed me like she did April. Bailey getting the board seat makes the most sense. She has always been loyal to the hospital and has accomplished more in her career. Clearly Arizona getting the fellowship is the gateway to Alex's return to the hospital as the head of Peds. The relationship drama was actually interesting and I think they may be getting into Amelia's reasons for leaving James and moving to Seattle soon. Am I the only one thinking that when Callie and Arizona finally get around to having a baby they will choose Owen as the sperm donor? They have really been building his relationship with Callie since season 9 and speaking of Owen he had a damn good monologue this episode. Maggie overreacted in my opinion but she's entitled to her feelings. But did she seriously expect Webber to come right out and say by the way I could be your dad after 1 day of knowing her? Anyway, I loved this episode and I'm ready for next week.

  22. I don't think they offered him to become heads of peds, it wouldn't make sense to storm off angrily but with Arizona struggling to get things done, I'm sure it won't take long for it to happen.

  23. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sensed something between them. I wouldn't Mind if they ended up together, I enjoy them together and God knows, these two need some non-dysfunctional loving.

  24. I'm hoping for some background on Amelia too. she was one of my favorite aspects about PP. She was in a good place when that show ended and I just can't imagine that cold feet about marrying James is all there is. There's gotta be more to this.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Exactly. I really hope they give her some good stuff on Grey's. She probably had the most interesting storyline on PP IMO so I hope they didn't just bring her on to be Derek's shadow

  26. The more I think about it, the more it boggles my mind. Something must have happened when working with Derek and being undermined by him is the lesser of two evils.

  27. Callie wants kids. Owen wants kids.
    Since "If/Then" I think they'll make a good couple.

  28. Excellent episode. One thing about Owen and Callie, I remember alternative episode of Grey's when Owen was married with her, so in back in that time the writers and Shonda knew it that both could end up together all along in this timeline, they practically gave us a glimpse of the future.

I still like a lot of Maggie arc, Richard make a mistake wait so long to tell her daughter the true, Meredith will soon get close to her sister I can feel it.

I'm sad for Alex, but Bailey deserves that chair.

I like the fight between Amelia and Derek, I like her even more right now.

  29. I kept thinking of that episode as well. They made a cute couple.

  30. I have to say, I didn't like it. First of all, how can Bailey, after Alex says how much it means to him and after getting fired, get the seat on the board? After all the crap he got in the past? That's really not fair and I really don't appreciate the decision that the writers did. Next thing is Weber and Maggie. I understand that Maggie can be mad, but she didn't even let him speak up. And how she said it anyway. Like she knew it. Then why didn't she say something? And then the whole MerDer thing. For god's sake they both really need to calm down. Wasn't that's what Meredith wanted? She wanted to say in Seattle, right? And Derek did. He's angry now because of the missed opportunity but it was his choice. What's gonna happen now? They brake up? After all they did survive together? We're gonna see but I'm really not happy with all this false drama. I used to love this show but at this moment it's just a lame soap drama.

  32. How the hell did Bailey get the place on the board. Don't get me wrong, two seasons ago I would have put here as the safe bet, but considering her recent track record / storylines, she's no longer the once brilliant Dr Bailey. And like Meredith said in tonight's episode, the season 10 finale was a week ago. Meaning just a week ago, Bailey endangered the entire hospital by going against the rents wishes to inject a child with HIV. Yes, it all turned out for the best, but there's no way she could be considered the best candidate after her recent actions, breakdowns, and just plain losing her edge.
