wonder how it leaked.........guess the rating boost for AOS won't happen

  3. I have no words...

    That's so awkward for AOS...

  5. SHIELDNCISArrowfan23 October 2014 at 00:24

It a conspiracy!!! leak trailer=rating boost don't happen

    ReplyDelete
  6. Well it was only a matter of time before it got leaked! Anyways, Hulkbuster!!! Ultron!!! And James Spader is already the perfect casting for Ultron. "There are no strings on me" HELL YEAH! This is going to be mindblowing :D

    ReplyDelete
  7. Watch it while you can. I'm sure this will get yanked.

    ReplyDelete
  8. a boost wouldn't have happened anyway due to a simple trailer

    ReplyDelete
  9. Trailer are one thing I don't care if I don't see it asap, because I will be seeing them a lot till the movie comes out. And you still have to wait for the Movie.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah, Marvel will find out about this and make sure it will get taken down before the day is over.

    ReplyDelete
  11. SHIELDNCISArrowfan23 October 2014 at 00:33

there must a reason why Hulk and Iron man is fighting........this movie is definately darker and the team is going to fall apart by the end

    ReplyDelete
  12. certainly, DC is even worse.
They managed to yank every leak of the Batman v Superman trailer in minutes

    ReplyDelete
  13. "There are no strings on me." Legit chills. This is going to be so good. Whose voice would have been better as Ultron? No one that I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I don't blame them for it. They're just trying to maintain control of their product. I just feel sorry for SHIELD here. They try just about everything to keep the chatter up on that show, to keep people interested, and to entice people to watch and nothing seems to go their way.

  15. **Trailer Spoiler**

Was that Captain America's broken shield there? I'm sure he'll live here, but Captain America 3 will be an interesting one if he doesn't have that magical shield of his.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Sorry, MaoS, it wasn't this time.

    ReplyDelete
  17. he will have his Shield, especially if they go down the Civil War route they have teased....

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, Thor grabbed Iron Man by the neck, so there must be a lot of "in-fighting" in the Avengers. More-so than the Loki-inspired fighting from the first movie.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Spyros Velentzas23 October 2014 at 00:44

I hope MARVEL will take it down soon, MAoS need the ratings boost.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm in love and in slight despair since the movie comes out 7 months.

    ReplyDelete
  21. dude, that trailer wouldn't have helped the show, sure a small percentage of Marvel fans would have tuned in but only the fanbase that only stopped AoS because it didn't fit their tastes.

Getting in non-Marvel hardcore fans is what could help AoS.
An appearance of an avenger, a high profile guest star.

Or even better: action heavier storytelling and more promo pushing. A trailer after the episode wouldn't even serve as a good crutch

    ReplyDelete
  22. SHIELDNCISArrowfan23 October 2014 at 00:47

Big marvel film fan but I will always be DC first........BvS is my anticipate movie........

    ReplyDelete
  23. HA! Best response ever XD https://twitter.com/Marvel/status/525071656306626560

    ReplyDelete
  24. When your ratings are as low as SHIELD's are, every little bit helps. With these low levels, you're looking at numbers week-to-week and the same goes for DVR numbers. Yeah, a trailer isn't going to jumpstart the show's popularity but it would have possibly helped it not bottom out against the World Series that particular night.

    ReplyDelete
  25. HOLY CRAP THIS IS GOING TO BE INSANE HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOO!!!, hearing james spader's voice as truly evil villain is strange, i mean i know he's a criminal on the blacklist but he's not totally evil, AND DAMN IT IT"S SUPPOSED TO BE STEVE AND NATASHA COME ON GIVE US ROMANOGERS PLEASE, CANNOT WAIT FOR IT !!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. good point,
however I would argue that Agents of SHIELD poses as one big advertisement in itself. It teases future MCU plots and keeps the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some degree relevant while no new movie is released.
Since Disney owns ABC, Disney owns Marvel and Disney makes the big bucks with MCU flicks I could imagine Disney forcefully keeping AoS around.

Not fan excuse bingo on my part, I occasionally watch the show. Not a fanatic fan.

One could argue that it would help Arrow/Flash if DC premiered its trailers after these shows as well but they don't.

It's just odd to hear people claim that a show depends on an ad whereas it's the other way around

    ReplyDelete
  27. On my 5th viewing! I'm gonna see the crap outta this movie!!
Iron Man inside of a FATTER Iron Man vs The Hulk!
Cap's busted shield:( Ultron is THAT strong??
Shut up and take my money!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. It's only an effective ad if people watch it and there aren't many people watching it. Yeah, Disney could keep SHIELD around but they'd rather keep the ratings at least respectable so it doesn't cost them so much money to do so. Low ratings = low ad revenue = smaller budget = crappier production = even lower ratings. It's a vicious cycle.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well, I knew I didn't have to seat through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to see this and I was right!

I hope for a better version to show up, but the trailer looks FANTASTIC. One of my biggest complaints about The Avengers was the scope looked very "television-y" and so did the look of the actual film, but this trailer makes Age of Ultron look like it belongs in a theatre and not on TV.

I will also say this though….the look of Ultron and his army, the look of the Hulkbuster…I expected something special out of Quicksilver's effects as well, but after seeing what Days of Future Past did with Quicksilver and seeing what The CW has done with The Flash, AoU's effects for Quicksilver don't look that special. I REALLY thought it would be something cutting-edge with the SFX of super-speed.

    ReplyDelete
  30. SO mediocre for such an anticipated movie.

    ReplyDelete
  31. not entirely, simply keeping the name SHIELD or Marvel in TV magazines and delivering visual material is ad enough. Sure, good ratings are always great. Still it's an effective ad.

I agree that Disney will most likely not go ahead with that show if the show wouldn't have any corners to cut but...

geez that show has MANY corners to cut.

the cast is large, they could go ahead and just stick with Gregg, Wen, Bennet and some other member while reducing the others to recurring or guests.
The locations, stick to three fixed sets and use cheap outside locations paired with CG set extentions. It's cheaper that way anyway
The heavy CG work. They have the models for the jets already, stick with what you have and stop focusing on un-needed visuals that create more costs than they save (what is usually the point of CGI). No icing the water etc.

The Flash works with HEAVY CGI that I personally consider too expensive for a show with such numbers. AoS can surely push a step back

I don't think that this show is ending this season, 66 episodes sounds about right to me

    ReplyDelete
  32. There goes your ratings boost, AoS, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  33. well, trailers for terrible movies are usually fantastic so I can take that :P
    But I liked it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cap 2 trailer was incredible. Unfortunately this just looks like Iron Man 4.

    ReplyDelete
  35. they love their own work.
Got to hand it to DC and Marvel both are capable to work together and have fun with their work

    ReplyDelete
  36. very cool and ominous... had to watch it a couple of times as I'm sure it'll get pulled soon. Spader's voice is perfect for Ultron

    ReplyDelete
  37. so much for next week's preview lol

i thought Raymond Reddington was already free on The Blacklist lol.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't think Tony is actually in the Iron Man suit that's in the Hulkbuster. Ultron is most likely be controlling it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. My guess Thor is mad at Tony bc he created a robot who happened to turn on against humanity!

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's the only thing i'm not buying into with Tony being in the Hulkbuster. I believe Ultron has taken control of it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This is better than the first trailer for Avengers 1

    ReplyDelete
  42. Scarlet Witch probably has Banner under her control.

    ReplyDelete
  43. So awesome I watched so many times today.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Agent Keen, I've got no strings on me.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Agreed. I got goose bumps just listening to him. Great actor.

    ReplyDelete
  46. And you expected them to give away everything in just the trailer? Most seem to think this trailer is fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Seriously he said that lol i dnt remember lol

    ReplyDelete
  48. This movie looks insane, can't wait!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. James Spader's voice is perrrrrrrrrfect for this...

    ReplyDelete
  50. James Spader's voice <3

    ReplyDelete
  51. Well that was fucking awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  52. You know really unnecessary to all caps your so.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Red is coming to kil them all!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh, will wait for it bitting my nails! But I do hope 3D isn't a must in this case. I prefer 2D, 3D causes terrible headaches in my case. :(

    ReplyDelete
  55. I hope that's the case, they're supposed to be buddies!

    ReplyDelete
  56. No no no! They managed to keep the lid on this thing for months, but a week before it's supposed to be shown for the first time in an AoS ep and possibly help it out, they let it leak?!

Sorry, I'm so annoyed right now that I'm not even thinking about the actual trailer. Will watch later.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I wonder if they will do a new trailer, not a full one but maybe an exclusive clip or something.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I was not expecting to wake up to this. My heart cannot handle all my heroes in such dire straits especially Bruce. Ultron is creepy as hell which is how he should be! Oh Bruce my favourite character all wrapped up in a blanket and stumbling through the woods and fighting his best friend (which I'm sure is more complex than it looks). Great stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Holy holy holy. That was awesome. Mainly the soundtrack because the clips went too fast to really tell what was happening, but the soundtrack set such a tone. James Spader is winning life right now, but the "No strings on me" was incredible. Up til then I felt like he was resting on his creepy voice laurels, but crap that was good. I don't know if Joss can do it again and there is so much pressure to redeliver. So worried for him, but after this, I think I can uncross at least one set of fingers and let them relax. In Joss we trust.

    ReplyDelete
  60. mediocre ? really dude really ? a 2 hours and 30 mins movie and here you are calling it mediocre just because you watched a 2min teaser !! really ?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Amazing, just amazing. But why do i think that this might be more psychological film than action one. From the looks of it almost all of them are broken psychologically in some of part of the movie.

    ReplyDelete
  62. In most cases, I would agree, but this was one of the most highly anticipated movie trailers, like, ever. Marvel's iron fist (no pun intended) managed to keep it from leaking from Comic Con for months, which is rather amazing in itself, and people have been asking everywhere, non-stop, when it's going to be released. I believe some big MCU fans would've tuned in simply to see the trailer. Plus, you always have the middle-of-the-road people who never full-on hated the show, but lost interest when it didn't grab them in the beginning, and this trailer could've renewed their interest/gotten them to give the show another look.

    ReplyDelete
  63. AHHHH!!! OMFG!!!! #$^%$#@ER%^I^%$%^&^%$%^

    ReplyDelete
  64. Okay, that is pure genius.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I really hope so. I'm sure there's still plenty of non-spoilery footage from the film they could release - after all, there's bound to be a second, extended trailer in a couple of months.

    ReplyDelete
  66. HOLY SH--!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Screenrant is predicting that the footage of comic con about the introduction of ultron might debut in AOS which would be really cool since I was dying to watch it from July

    ReplyDelete
  68. At Comic Con there was an extended scene of the team hanging out at Avengers Tower having fun just before Ultron does his first attack and then the trailer kicks in, they could easily show that scene IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  69. It is meant to be a big global film. They have filmed in South Korea, in South Africa and Italy (though possibly posing as another country), I wouldn't be surprised if they used London as well.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hey, that's a good point! Not ALL of the Age of Ultron footage showed at Comic Con was in the trailer above. There's a scene where everyone is partying at the Avengers Tower (part of which is seen here, but not all) and taking turns at trying to lift Thor's hammer, before Ultron enters. I hope its gets shown in the AoS ep - and that they advertise it before so people tune in!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I called the trailer mediocre.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I know I really hope so and I really wish AOS stays at 1.8 and 1.9 and never fall lower than that I would be devastated if they cancel it because its become a kickass show now with characters I love and I desperately want to see the fallout of civil war in aos just thinking of the consequences is totally exciting and awesome!!.

    ReplyDelete
  73. It wasn't intentional, but on a second watch of the trailer it's fitting.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I don't want them to give away everything, but I want them to sell me on a movie. That's why I watch trailers.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It's on the official Marvel YouTube channel. I don't think this was a mistake or an unintentional leak...

    ReplyDelete
  76. Banner was looking pretty twitchy psychologically speaking when he was huddled on the floor of the plane (?), wasn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  77. See, they managed to keep it from leaking for months after Comic Con - and then it leaks a week before it's supposed to air as part of an AoS ep? What the hell? I think Marvel has a mole in their ranks, too! LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  78. its just first/teaser trailer, there would be more

    ReplyDelete
  79. Tracking hell, I can't wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. And It did it's job for most of us.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Not the Agent Keen part obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Epic trailer. Guys I still think Agents of Shield can survive I'll fhght till the end for season 3. You guys should watch it. Letting go it's stupid because it's amazing. Keep watching!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I think it's a mistake dropping Shield it's amazing People should watch. It deserves season 3. Hope it'll still happen

    ReplyDelete
  84. Who is the robot talking in a raspy voice during the entire trailer about strings etc? Sorry but i didn't read comics.

    ReplyDelete
  85. love the trailer

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ultron (voiced by James Spader) he is an AI that evolves into a supervillain, one of the Avengers greatest foes. In the comics Hank Pym (Ant Man) invented him and he turns on his creator and the team, in the film Tony Stark is his creator. He is really hard to defeat because he constantly evolves and takes over technology.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wow, thank you for such a detailed answer. I thought they would be taking on a purple villain that gave Loki the scepter in that movie.
Maybe Ultron will evolve from creations of Tony Stark. It sure looks like it with him saying "he set them on that path"

    ReplyDelete
  88. No probs, the purple villain (Thanos) looks likely to be the big bad in Avengers 3 and he is another terrifying one!

Yeah Ultron seems likely to be part of what Tony already created before and its also linked to JARVIS as well. Should be great stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  89. They were supposed to premiere the trailer during SHIELD next week. I don't think they would intentionally undercut themselves. They put that trailer up on the official channel after the leak happened.

    ReplyDelete
  90. You may be right, but it's the "the damn it Hydra" bit that has me thinking.
Now it may have been just them laughing it off, but I dunno... their willingness to laugh it off instead of enforcing damage control seems very unlike them....

    ReplyDelete
  91. That's fantastic. I'm glad I posted about my own opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  92. SHIELDNCISArrowfan24 October 2014 at 19:55

Marvel still have something planed for next tuesday despite the trailer leak

    ReplyDelete
  93. If there were any doubt left that this was unintentional then this should clear things up:

    ReplyDelete
  94. Ah, yes okay... now that's more like it.
So it's just that "damage control" wasn't enough, but heads on a spike should do the trick.

Thanks for the info BTW :)
