  1. It's been a while since we have seen a mother-daughter quality time spending scene.Good going TVD-give importance to all the minor characters rather than focussing on the triangle drama & you'll get up again in ratings!

  2. Caroline is great! I love when she is so quirky and overfocused!
Today I rewatched the pilot and I just realized what a long way she went. Besides that I remembered she had a crush on Stefan but he was to infatuated with Elena to notice her. JP had Steroline in works for years.

Next Thursday seems to far away.

  4. This scenes is all about elena though if you think about it ;)

  5. Still,we have take what we can from this.If you think about it,when there was a scene between liz and caroline together-season 3 i think! If you consider that, you'd be somewhat content!

  6. Nice scene about Caroline and Liz together. Elena's reaction is interesting. After watching the promo I thought she had spent all summer crying for Damon. It's curious that she has cried for Bonnie but not for Damon.

  7. At least it will calm the fans who were wondering elena has forgotten her childhood friend!

  8. How is this scene all about Elena? The person who has lost the most loved ones on this show is Jeremy - not Elena but we're always been told that Elena has suffered more than anyone else on the planet. Jeremy has lost all the same family remembers as Elena, has been killed more than once and lost people Elena didn't seem to care at all about (Vicki & Anna).

  9. it's true, jeremy had the toughest luck in the romance department and otherwise but no ones seems to remember that.

  10. "Elena has experienced more grief than anyone I’ve ever met. You should cut her some slack." yes poor Elena what about Jeremy, Caroline etc it´s always about poor Elena. Sometimes i think quitting tvd was extreme because i used to love it so much but then they put out sneak peaks and promos and i´m like yeah this is bad tv the end.

  11. Not surprised at all that they won't show us her actually grieving Bonnie beacuse like most things pertaining to Bonnie Bennett they happen off screen.

  12. i'm getting very mad here but maybe it's not what it looks like, i'm hoping it's not what it looks like, why in the world would elena not cry for someone she thought she spend eternity with, and wow long time no see mother-daughter time especially since caroline's the only non-orphan on the show lol, yeah matt has his mom but still

  13. That's true. I'm not a big fan of Elena (actually I don't like her)but I've never thought she would forget about Bonnie. Both deaths are important although Damon had more protagonism than Bonnie.

  14. So Elena spent the whole summer grieving Bonnie but not Damon- as far as anyone knows. And she's into football? Weird. I wonder if Elena will be involved in the tailgate incident where Tyler attacks Luke. Luke and Liv's original mission was to either protect or kill the doppelgangers. If they're back around the MF gang risking their lives, then it must have something to do with Stefan and/or Elena again. There's no reason for any witch to want to break a no-magic spell protecting a town full of humans from vampires, so it can't be about what the Travelers did. Even Sheriff Forbes rolled her eyes at Caroline's new obsession. Any way you cut it, it makes no sense for Luke and Liv to be back at Whitmore unless they've been ordered to be there. It would be interesting if they're back because of Esther walking around in a child's body like some icky traveler. Luke and Liv could have been sent to watch the entire gang because of their history with Esther, particularly Alaric's history with Esther. Sometimes I wonder if Tyler attacked the baby because Esther took over his mind while he was spending so much time in the mountains. Klaus brought Tyler back to Mystic Falls after Esther was strapped down in New Orleans.

I knew that Caroline and Elena were drifting apart. The problem isn't really Elena, either. Caroline is obviously feeling insecure because of Stefan. Caroline was more of a frenemy to Elena in Season 1 because Caroline was after Stefan then too, and we already know that the show is going back to its roots. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that things are getting ready to come full circle for the end of the series. One more season is possible, but I think they're setting it up for the show to end this season just in case.

  15. do the blonde twin witches have parents?

  16. Some of these people just hate Elena's character and spend a little too much time and energy looking for something to complain about. It's one thing if the writers take a wrong turn, but it seems that Elena is grieving the way one would expect her to.

  17. They're just talking about Elena in this conversation, so she said sth about Elena's grief, is this really weird ? come on. :)

  18. Don't get mad.Maybe Elena is in denial and she wants to look that she is moving on.She has drug problems as the spoilers says. She is not so fine as it seems.

  19. It's not about Stefan. It' s only about Caroline. She is unable to move on when the others seems to move on.She wants to find a way to bring Bonnie and Damon and she wants to go back to her home again. She has a mother at MF.

  20. Are you continuing this season or dropping it?

    ReplyDelete
  21. All we know that their grandmother is dead, maybe we'll know about their parents this season!

    ReplyDelete
  22. dropping it like its hot, i didn´t watch the last 4 episodes of season 5 and nothing i´ve seen is making me wanna pick it up again

  23. I hope i'm not offending you,but it seems to me the only way you will watch this show again if elena gets written off from this show.I think your hatred for this particular character has surpassed you love for the show. But the sad fact is,elena won't be going anywhere till the series finale. The whole is about her and the brothers mainly!

    ReplyDelete
  24. oh not offended at all and i wished it was only elena thats getting on my last nerve i mean remember the elena from season 1-3 i loved her but this vampire elena is just bad writing in my opinion well season 4-5 are just 44 episodes of bad writing and Julie Plec dosen´t seem capable or interest in fixing the show she firmly belives that nothing is wrong with TVD and its her pride that has ruined tvd at least for me and don´t get me started on TO because thats one show thats even worse than tvd! but nobody is forcing me to watch ;) and i wont but that dosent mean i wont see whats happening spoilerwise from time to time.

  25. I get where you're coming from.In fact,TO has let me down too in terms of writing & character development.

  26. LOL hardly cried over Damon. Was a watching a different season finale?

  27. That's not a problem if they only talk about Elena "in this conversation" but almost everytime two characters come together they talk about Elena so it becomes weird and bad writing. Poor Elena(as if the others don't lose that person too) loses someone then everyone talks about her grief we watch her so called pain then the dead comes back and we repeat the same cycle.

  28. True. Caroline is supposed to take what happened the hardest, and she definitely is. She's preoccupying herself with trying to make everything the way it was, except for the part where she wants to be with Stefan. Caroline has two obsessions right now: breaking the spell over Mystic Falls, and Stefan. Caroline's catty comments about Elena were coming from her fixation with Stefan. Liz clearly isn't interested in even hearing about breaking the spell, and if she wanted to be with her daughter she would be with her daughter. Caroline is an adult and doesn't have to live in the same town as her mother. I think all of the main characters are in denial. They're just showing it in different ways.

  29. Don't forget that unlike Elena he also has to deal with having a sibling pining over someone who was holding him hostage and threatening to kill him as recently as last season. :D

  30. Lovely strawman you've got there.

    ReplyDelete
  31. ..and we're supposed to like jeremy and damon's bond according to the writers. To them ,jeremy has become close to damon!LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Don't forget that Elena had to deal with exactly that back in S1. Anna kidnapped her, held her hostage and threatened to kill her. It didn't stop Jeremy continuing to date her.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I dunno, there are definitely issues with the writing for Bonnie but I give them a pass on skipping over Elena's grief over her because I've already watched Elena react to Bonnie's death twice before, when she died in S2 and again in S5. I don't need to see it a third time TBH.
