  1. Shit is definitely going down this season and it looks awesome and traumatizing, and I'm going to end up even more so. Help.

  4. Please find a cure or some sort of recovery for Fitz in the next few episodes writers. Breaks my heart watching just this one episode seeing him like that. I can't take a whole bunch of episodes like this. I like the helpful vibe I got from Henry "mack" though from the promo pics and this that seem to indicate he will be a friend or helper to Fitz. I like you Henry your a good guy.

  10. I know but still it sucks watching Fitz gets the crap end of the stick and has to be severely messed up potential for a good chunk of the season or all of it. I didn't realize how much I miss old Fitz and Simmons till they were gone this episode. And Coulson's cold he is to far gone the damage is done speech at the end about Fitz really made it even darker. Even the team leader doesn't have any hope. Sad.

  13. Melinda May riding a bike while firing a gun is all I need in life, really.

  14. There's no way she's really dead, they wouldn't waste Lucy freaking Lawless like that. They just didn't show her in the promo to keep people guessing.

  15. I could watch a whole episode of just that.

  16. The REAL Simmons needs to come back, like, yesterday. It already puts her character in a pretty negative light that she left with Fitz, her best friend, in such a crappy condition. I mean, I get that she's probably suffering from survivor's guilt (although Fitz survived too, but he's damaged and she's not), but he needs her more than ever right now. And I don't want to dislike my adorable Simmons, so please show, bring her back ASAP.

  17. It's a bit ableist to want Fitz to be cured just because you miss him from season 1. Life rarely works that way. People get injured, it changes them and they don't go back. I hope he doesn't magically get better, that would be poor writing and insulting to me as a disabled person.

  18. I hope you're right. No way they'll let such a high-profile actress go that easily.

  19. May not just be survivors guilt, they been friends and colleagues for years with brilliant minds. It would be tough to be next to somebody you've known since "the Academy" and see how damaged he is.

  20. If the MCU Talbot is any thing like the comic version don't count on it.

  21. That's not what you said, you said you wanted them to cure Fitz. There is no cure for what Fitz is dealing with, there's time and therapy. I would let this go if you just admitted to poor wording, but you're trying to defend your stand and I'm not impressed.

"completely destroyed mode" ? wtf? I really hope this is more poor language and that you don't actually think a mentally disabled person is "completely destroyed". Yes he struggles with language and he's talking to himself, but large parts of his intelligence and personality remain intact, a lot of his problems are communication (something you should sympathise with because your own ability to write and communicate your meaning is terrible).

"it's a tv show" is a terrible excuse for wanting something so unrealistic. TV shows that ignore these basic realities of life are crappy shows. All television should strive to rise above that lame ass trope of ignoring how long certain things take.

Fitz's condition will only improve with time and therapy, even then he will probably never fully recover. Though I suspect he'll make a big leap when Simmons returns. However there is no cure, and I sincerely hope that they don't try that just because you're having a hard time watching it. You think watching Fitz like that is rough? You have no idea. Actually having that disability, or even just being the family member of a brain damaged person (my uncle) is clearly beyond your comprehension. Let's just say that I empathise with Simmons and I'm not leaping to criticise her for leaving, at least not until I hear her side of it.

  22. I get what your saying but I think your taking my one opinion of a tv show way to personal. It's a show I'm not advocating against the mentally disabled or anything. It's a fiction show about fiction characters. I merely feel bad for fitz on the show . I am sympathy for your uncles situation and your family but your taking my opinion way to seriously to heart over a tv show.

  23. I think you're making a mistake when you say that your opinions on things that happen on TV aren't important simply because they're about what happens on TV.
When a TV show says or does something racist, no one trivialises the outrage that triggers. Why would you seek to minimise my feelings on this? Is this issue less important than racism, sexism and homophobia?
All opinions are important, you should put some more thought into yours. And also learn to spell.
Hitler is just one man on a very long list of people who have sought to eliminate the disabled. Many western nations had compulsory sterilisation programs long after the second world war. Many US states even had "ugly laws" that made it illegal for those with physical deformities to beg on the streets.
Disabled people are still targets for abuse and discrimination, especially disabled women who suffer a much higher rate of sexual abuse than most women. However the conviction rates for those who abuse them are lower because no one listens to them. This isn't a historic issue, it is very current and very important.
So stop pretending that it's okay that you're ignorant just because you're talking about a TV show. Either educate yourself or shut up.

  24. You need to chill. JJ clearly meant no offense towards the disabled. He or she merely expressed how heartbreaking it is to watch Fitz struggle with his condition - which it is. This isn't a case where Fitz can live normally while having the disability: he's hallucinating and out of touch with reality! JJ isn't bothered by the disability itself (or disabled people in general), but the negative effect it has on a beloved character.
I realize this is a sensitive topic for you, but that doesn't entitle you to be rude ("learn to spell", "shut up") towards someone merely because they didn't express themselves the way that you consider most appropriate.

  25. Thank you! Someone gets my point and isn't taking it as some sort of political commentary on real life and a personal attack on the disabled. I like the show I like fitz I miss him and Simmons. I would like to see him recover at some point because he is lost and severly out of touch right now . The end. I didn't mean to start the disability crusade and how wrong we all are for having opinions on a fiction television show. Geeze.

  26. can the next episode please only be about May on a motorcycle?
