  1. Gotham. If we could vote for more than one, The Flash too. DC is bringing it on the small screen this fall!

  2. Forever and The Flash. I could only pick one option so I went with Forever since The Flash is probably a more popular choice :)

    ReplyDelete
  3. Voted for Stalker. Also Scorpion and The Flash. Off the list: NCIS New Orleans and Madam Secretary.

  4. Having seen Flash when it leaked, I have to say Gotham!!

  5. Its a tie between Gotham and The Flash, both have distinct styles and they both look impressive :)

  6. Other, The Whispers

  7. I'm really looking forward to Gotham, but actually voted for Scorpion as it's the pilot that really surprised me and I think that if the series keeps up that consistency I will be a big fan of it!

  8. I voted for The Flash, but I'm also really looking forward to Gotham, Constantine, Agent Carter, States of Affair and Manhattan Love Story

  10. These are the shows I will check out.

Gotham - I have already watched the pilot and I loved it, great storytelling and a lot of potential.
The Flash - The pilot had everything, perhaps the best CW pilot I have ever seen.
Constantine- I loved the dark and gritty feel of it, the show has so much potential and the lead actor does great portraying Constantine.
    Forever - interesting premise.
Agent Carter - looks like it has potential.
Galavant - I am curious to see how this works.
    The Messengers - sounds intriguing.
Wayward Pines- Great cast, intriguing premise.
The Last Man on Earth - this is original, I am intrigued.
Marry Me- this looks like it will be one of the funnier shows next season.
How to Get Away with Murder- the premise sounds interesting and I love Viola.
The Whispers- I have heard really great things about the pilot.
Secrets & Lies- good cast and interesting premise.

Manhattan Love Story- Really cute and funny looking. Has promise.
American Crime- Great cast, great group of people involved in this show.
Stalker- the trailer won me over, I am intrigued.

  18. Empire because of the black cast. So rare this days!

  19. Constantine and The Messengers are all that I'll be checking out from this list. Although I'm guessing I'll cave in and watch The Flash when it crossed with Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I forgot about Stalker! I actually like the look of that.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sad to say there is not one single show that is a must see for me.. :(

Thank you Rob F for only giving us only 1 option! I can't remember the last time i saw only 1 option, about time!

  22. Agent Carter, Gotham, Galavant, and Constantine

    ReplyDelete
  23. I went Stalker, purely because I'm slightly worried that The Flash is going to introduce too much from the comics and I'll get lost.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Of all of this The Flash. But also Gotham, Agent Carter, Constantine,Scorpion, Forever, Darevevil, The Librarians. And so far that is my list.

I'm checking out those exact same shows! (and maybe like 2 more). But I don't have high hopes for American Crime; I didn't like the trailer at all, so I'll probably just see the pilot.

  29. Ranked, in order of anticipation:

    The Flash
    Agent Carter
    iZombie
    Constantine
    Gotham

I'm honestly just really happy to have so many comicbook shows to choose from.

  30. Great minds think alike!!! :)

Yeah the American Crime trailer was a bit dull but I still have hopes as the people behind it are all good. The writer of 12 Years a Slave has created and is writing the show. Felicity Huffman stars. That has me intrigued.

  31. I chose iZombie just because I want to see what Rob Thomas does next, but to be honest I will be watching at least the pilot of all of these.

  32. It depends on what fails29 July 2014 at 17:12

All of them are middling expectations but:

Gotham - if this show isn't a procedural about Gotham City, its chances of being great are very good.
The Flash - this one I must say I had mixed feelings about the pilot because it was more Smallville than Arrow but I won't change my mind about checking at least a few more episodes.
Agent Carter - SHIELD kind of disappointed me (no, I wasn't expecting superheroes) because it couldn't pick up steam when I watched it although I've heard good reviews about the recent episodes, Carter is a different show and being a 8-episode season is something better for me, no fillers if the writers do a good job.
Madam Secretary - this one I know it'll be either really good or a massive bomb, as a Good Wife fan I will check this out given its similarities but the slot isn't good and I see it with good chances of being canceled.

Constantine is not in my list for now, I checked the pilot and it must improve a lot to draw my interest again.

  33. I am in for all of those ;)

  34. A few weeks ago, i would of said The Messengers, but then i saw The Flash pilot- AMAZING! I'm really looking forward to Gotham, Constantine, Daredevil, The Whispers, & Agent Carter as well.

  35. Looking over this list made me realize how few of the upcoming shows I have any real excitement about. The only ones that intrigue me at all are Gotham, Scorpion, & Gallivant, maybe IZombie. There are few others I'll give a try like the Flash, Agent Carter, Gracepoint (saw the BBC version already). There are also a couple of others like Battle Creek and Wayward Pines that sound interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Regarding Agents of Shield, I strongly recommend that you check it out again. The first half of the season is ok, the middle episodes are an improvement, and the last half of the season is mind blowing, no kidding. By season's end it was one of my favorite TV hours of the week and that's coming from someone who watches a LOT of TV!

On another note, all those shows are some of my most anticipated dramas.

We'll see. I didn't know who the writer was until right now, and I really liked 12 years a slave, so that makes things better...

  38. Gotham, The Messengers, Scorpion, How to get away with murder and The Flash.

  39. haha , i rarely see a choose 1 option poll. Having more than one option to choose makes peoples decisions easy as they might only like 3 of them and can choose 3. I personally like the 1 option polls as it makes people really think about what they are voting for.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Flash, Gotham, and Constantine.

  41. I will probably be checking out the drama pilots. Its very rare that i watch comedies. Don't get me wrong i like funny but most of these comedies these days just aren't imo,and i can't take the canned laugh anymore,it drives me crazy! Some of the shows i'll be checking out is: How to get away with Murder, Madam Secretary, Scorpion, Forever, NCIS NO, State of Affairs,Gracepoint, Stalker and Gotham. I wish they had some science fiction on the schedule....
What shows are you looking forward to?

I like the 1 option poll too!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Voted for iZombie because I've already seen The Messengers and damn, it was awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I too agree about the comedies i tried all the comedies from last year but couldn't get into a single one. I only watch two comedies currently and thats The Middle and The Big Bang Theory.

I'm mostly looking forward to Gotham as i just loved the batman films , i have already seen The Flash (i couldn't wait and saw the leaked version) which was actually better than i thought it would be. Im also going to try Forever and How to get away with murder. I might also try NCIS NO since i haven't seen the others (not a single episode) and might enjoy it. Also i will watch the pilots for Scorpion and State Of Affairs.

As for comedies im going to try and watch Galavant as its looks funny , but i think the whole musical aspect of it might put me off. Also Bad Judge i will give a try mainly because Kate Walsh is starring and i loved her on GA.

  45. STALKER, easily! Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott.....................dudes what else could you ask for? 4 A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, I am Nobody!!!

  46. Constantine, Scorpion, Stalker. May check out Gotham too...

  47. I would suggest you try the original NCIS or even NCIS LA. NCIS LA has a younger team,a lot more action in terms of gun fights, car chases, explosions, and physical interactions which you might like? I found that the 2 parter where they intoduced the New Orleans team was a bit of a disappointment. Not their fault,i always find they don't work as a cohesive group in the beginning but with New Orleans i just didn't find any chemistry within the group whats so ever. But i'll give them a few episodes to see if they get it together.

I like batman too,and i loved The Dark Knight!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I could watch a few episodes of NCIS / NCIS LA or maybe the last season they show repeats on FOX of both here in the Uk nearly every night. I wouldn't watch it from the beginning way to many episodes in which i don't have time to see.
