  1. Somehow this ep didn't feel as strong as the others, but it had some good stuff in it.

Mercy does have some real power, and she could have easily accused Mary in front of everyone.

I was alittle confused on why John killed all those people.

And the talking face was creepy. I'm glad they didn't make us wait on what was in the box.

  4. Excellent episode for providing insight into the "Coven" and it's plans for Salem (No Spoilers). The two "Crone Elders" speaking in a language from the "Old World" was a great scene. Ironic how Tituba "The Cinnamon Girl" is nothing more than Mary's slave in the town of Salem, and yet commanding respect from the Coven Elders for being who and what she really is.................a "Knowledgeable and Powerful Force". Mary is torn between the woman she was (and still wishes to be) and the Witch she is and had to become. The "Coven Elders" acknowledge that Mary is their greatest accomplishment and best means to fulfilling their plans, but also have a "Plan B" in the works just in case Mary fails the coven. The dynamics between characters and storyline are very entertaining............which is why I can't figure out why more people aren't watching this series. Really looking forward to next Sunday! 4 A SALEM TRIAL BY FIRE, I am still Nobody!!!

  5. I liked the episode, I liked the last 3 ones because they're less about gore for shock value and more about the plot and characters. I really had a hard time watching the Mercy scenes in the first two episodes, because she was just an abused victim, but now she's herself again and realizes the power she yields, which is very interesting to watch.

My guess about John is some kind of deal with his captors or Stockholm syndrome? Those men were there to rescue him, I can't see another reason why he would kill them. I hope they reveal more about this later.

As long as it's not Gwyneth Paltrow's head, we're good. ;)

  6. This ep was great. I'm glad that John is getting a leg up on the witches. Did Anne's mother mean that she is supposed to mary Cotton? The character I like the least is Mary. Mary seems to have this power but isn't really that powerful. And I wish John & Mary figure out what they're doing already. I think Mercy is going down a dangerous road. Next wk is going to be awesome.

  7. *lol- almost sounded like they ran their lines backwards..... to get the Old World Language.
    *Plan B..... nice.

*Did the "red burn" on John's hand really do something to him????
*Mercy learning she has "sway" & getting Power Hungry.... that's the beginning
*Did John really kill 20 people?- there HAS to be more to that story!!
    *Mary is too : I'm bad - I'm good - I'm bad - I'm good ...... figure it out girl! hahaha
