  1. This seems like some crazy shit! And honestly not surprised! No one does season finale arcs as wicked as VD does. Just saying!

  2. I've no interest in characters like Enzo, I can see his death coming a mile away.

  3. I don't like Enzo and I hate the Travelers. And it looks like we're stuck with both for awhile.

  4. Is that Kol I see??

  5. Now I get it. Someone is definitely going to lift the veil and let a few people back from the Other Side. That explains why Kol and Maggie (Enzo's past love) are going to show up. I'm pretty sure Maggie would be deceased by now, and she might have been a witch or some other human supernatural. The whole thing looks very dark, proving that one doesn't have to watch The Originals to see things get good and crazy. It looks like Liv will die before Markos shows up, which is probably why Luke gets more involved. Liv will probably pop up again anyway, though, if the veil is lifted. That might be what causes the problems between Bonnie and Jeremy. It also looks like Damon and Elena will have their grown-up conversation and break up by the end of the next episode.

I don't quite understand why Kol is present. He's supposed to want to kill Elena, and that would run counter to what Markos wants. Kol will probably only be on the show for an episode or two before he's dealt with in a permanent way. Maybe, to appease fans, the writers will have him put in a human body so that he'll be around and played by another actor. Kol wouldn't be a huge threat if he's no longer an Original vampire, and I'd rather not see him just brought back from the dead and then dumped on a show that I can barely stand.

Considering Elena's comment, I'm trying to recall if Markos could be anyone we've seen before. I don't think it's anyone from the first season. It sounds like Markos is someone very old who has been in more than one body, and he probably kept himself hidden. Maybe he's been using magic to bring doppelgangers together for thousands of years, or maybe he only focused on Stefan and Elena for some reason. He would have shown up during the Civil War to mess with Stefan and Katherine if he was obsessed with doppelgangers in general. I still don't get why the witches are involved. If there's tension between travelers and witches, it's probably been going on for a very long time, but Markos is only interested in Stefan and Elena. Anyone else just gets in the way and will get hurt. Witches in general only tolerate vampires as when witches themselves are in danger, but Luke and Liv are putting themselves in danger over something that doesn't exactly involve them. Perhaps witches think that so many travelers are gathered together because they're trying to start a fight, and Markos' agenda will be an unwelcome surprise. I'm very curious about what Markos is doing to Stefan and Elena that puts them to sleep and then wakes them up again. Maybe it's brainwashing?

Markos is most likely on the other side (hence dead guy comment from Elena), the leader of the travelers & they're going to drop the veil so he can return. The thing with the doppelgangers has to do with mixing their blood & probably is needed for a whopper of a spell to retore Markos to life for good or something similar.

I like the show still but I miss the days when us viewers could never in a milion years figure out what was going to happen next. Since Willimson left the show in Plec's hands the writing has gotten a bit sloppy & we can all see the "huge" plot twists coming a mile away. . . cough cough Katherine hijacking Elena's body cough

  7. I'd like it if Kol has made some sort of deal with the Travellers or the witches. We know he's had connections with witches in the past, so I don't know. I'm sure they could work something out along those lines! But I reckon he could be stopping Matt finding his body after he dies with the Gilbert ring on. Obviously he'll succeed eventually, but could be fun.

  8. Sorry to say,he is still shooting for 5.21,that means you will at least see him until the season finale.Luke, live and sloan are all sure to bite the dust though.Don't be too sure about enzo's death, somehow it seems the writers are not willing to kill this character, otherwise he would've dead when damon was trying to bite his dead off!!

  9. Don't kill enzo,he's awesome!!

  10. That's what I was thinking. Kol might approach Matt knowing he can take Matt's body and slip off and destroy the ring, leaving Matt on the Other Side forever. It would be interesting to see how that would be handled. Matt's friends would want him back, but they would have to catch Kol first, or find a witch who can pull off a complicated resurrection. If he gets caught or reveals himself, Kol might bargain for his life back by offering to help stop the travelers. That might work since Jeremy could end up on the outs with Elena in particular for allying himself with Liv. The reasons for killing Kol in the past no longer exist. Taking Matt's body, however, will pose a problem for him, unless he's been in and out of Matt's body all along and Matt didn't notice until the scene we just saw in the promo. I think some stuff was cut out of recent episodes that would point to this.

  11. Yeah, a better writer would have done something much different than Katherine just taking over Elena's body and then Elena just coming back again.

  12. I actually like Enzo as a new character. I like Luke too, and he is still shooting as far as I've seen. A lot of the actors travel back and forth between their homes and Atlanta, regardless of how far. I don't know if the producers will want to get rid of a gay character so quickly after so much buzz was created, not that I think he should stick around just because of that. Mystic Falls needs a witch, and only so much can be done with Bonnie. Luke might actually be more powerful than she was for some reason.

  13. I guess if something is wrong with the Other Side we might find out what happened to Katherine as well (if it's starting to happen to others as well).

  14. Is anyone else hoping the season would be over already. I'm actually frightened on having any hopes on S6

  15. This is what makes me think Liv and Luke are more likely to stick around than Enzo. They made quite a point out of bringing up his sexuality right off the bat, and I don't see them bringing in a gay character, advertising it very clearly in his first episode and then killing him off shortly after.

  16. - Damon and Elena need a lot less fornicating and a lot more serious adult conversations.

    - Bonnie can be mad about her broken deal all she wants. She should know by now that their success rate of deal-making is rather low and to plan accordingly.
    - At least Grams is seemingly being helpful this time. I hope her warning isn't too late.
    - Do we really need Marcos to draw Stefan and Elena together? TVD clumsily does it with no outside help three or four times a season.
    - Kol again? Ugh. I'm hoping he'll actually be tolerable this time but I won't hold my breath.
    - Enzo loses consciousness followed by what looks to be Elena also losing consciousness? I wonder if this is part of the danger, mentioned by Liv and her brother, that everyone is supposed to be in?
    - Stefan beating the crap out of Enzo? I don't know what caused it but I approve anyway.
    - Looks like those freaks took over Mystic Falls at the end there. Either that or they managed to bring people back from the other side. Either way - not good.

  17. That doesn't make any sense because, to be fair, all recurring characters on this show either die or get upgraded to regular status. The only exception to this is Liz Forbes.

  18. I no longer speculate on how the TVD storyline will unfold, because I'm ALWAYS wrong. But, I will comment on the scene where Ian is in bed talking to Elena. He is as naked as he could possibly be on the CW Network, with his "happy trail" in full view. (Credit goes to "Fifty Shades of Grey" in case that term is copyrighted - LOL). He seems to be very comfortable with his body, probably a carryover from his modeling days. Paul has a bigger, more muscular upper body which is beautiful, but I prefer a lean, sleek and compact body on a man so Ian/Damon is definitely my guy!

  19. KOL!!!! YAY!!! *happy dance* *happy dance*
I'm guessing the reason Matt can see him is because Matt died (again) with the ring on and bumps into him on his quest to reunite with his Earthly body. I guess it was only a matter of time before something would go wrong and he'd start to get haunted like Alaric did. Will they please take that damn ring away from him and STOP getting him killed? Seriously. Not that I am complaining about Kol, lol.

  20. I usually hate Enzo as well but I strangely enjoyed his scenes with Caroline so I am cautiously optimistic about more Enzo. Their scenes as well as Caroline's scenes with Stefan were the only things I liked in the last ep.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Tell that to Bill Forbes. Not that I want Luke dead, I haven't seen enough of him to decide how I feel about him yet but at least I didn't hate him right off the bat, so that's a plus.

  22. I doubt Delena fans are shallow enough to simply be satisfied with sex, they wanted them to have an actual relationship. Sex scenes should be a bonus to a relationship, not a consolation prize. Wow? Did I just defend Delena fans? It must be a cold day in hell indeed, lmao.

    ReplyDelete
  23. You weren't defending Delena fans. You were advocating substance over sex. So, the way I see it, you were defending the entire viewing audience.

  24. Wow, that was boring. But much better then the original upload from yesterday. Sooo Markos (is that how they're spelling his name? With a K?) Is responsible for this destiny in the stars crap?? Ok, so if we kill him, will the curse be lifted?? Let's try it out and see, shall we? Right now, Bonnie needs Lucy, not her Grams. We need a living breathing witch, that'll have Bonnie's back when this shit hits the fan.

Caroline, please don't flirt with Enzo. I fear he's got some dead broad waiting for him somewhere. Right now you have to help your bestie, not help yourself.

Matt be careful. Tyler...don't be careful. Lol

  25. Thank you. Saves me the trouble of saying anything. Lol

  26. My work here is done. *bows* lol

  27. True, that's probably why I agree that if they were going to do the relationship route, they should have had an actual relationship - even though I'm not really a Delena fan. Not a Stelena either. I don't really care who Elena dates to be honest, lol.

  28. It looks like Enzo and Elena were both knocked out, and Elena at least was taken out of her body for some reason. Maybe that's what Paul Wesley meant about Episode 18 being about their world, but not their world. The Travelers might cause a few people to leave their bodies for a while and have to fight for their lives or find their way to each other. Enzo and Matt could be included as part of an experiment of some kind. Maybe it's not about forcing Stefan and Elena together, but trying to prove that they would be together in a world without Damon. From the beginning, he seemed like a force bent on keeping them apart. Maybe that's the plot twist that's supposed to happen in the season finale that tears apart the brothers' relationship. Damon was willingly part of Markos' plan all along. Enzo might be in it just to see Maggie again. Of course this is all assumption. We have yet to see a synopsis for anything past Episode 17.
