  1. Well for me that definitely lived up to the promise of the promo. Awesome. My one hope is that this is NOT planned as a multi season story.

  2. I missed quite a bit of the show but it was interesting enough to keep watching. I need to re-watch before the next ep.

  3. I enjoyed it. The only part I was disappointed with was the teacher / student "apparent" romance. It seemed really out of place and awkward. Otherwise it was good - looking forward to next week!

  4. Well if the show gets cancelled you'll have your wish :). Unless it's otherwise said and the ratings hold up or increase, expect another season. NBC isn't exactly CBS out here...

  5. Could become very good, curious what the endgame of the main kidnapper is.

  6. According to the creator of the show, the story line is resolved at the end of the season and than if there is a season 2, there will be a new story line.

  7. It was not expecting to like this one very much and I'm still not exactly sold on it honestly...
However, I think it was better than the other new series this season which was very similar, Hostages.

The next episode or two will really make or break the show for me. Does it begin to utilize the talented cast with deeper plots and scenes..... or does the show stay in that fast paced pseudo-dramatic formula that was in the pilot? I think it has potential, maybe more than half of the premieres this season honestly, but it could still go either way for me.

  8. Terrific! That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

  9. Don't apologize for a negative opinion. It makes the discussion much more interesting. And the site doesn't abide insulting confrontational or mean responses to someone with a differing opinion.

I would suggest keeping an open mind for one or two episodes. Pilots are extremely difficult and they're asked to do a LOT of things that often lead to mediocre episodes of television. (and sometimes really bad episodes of television) I usually look at them to see if the characters will be people I want to follow for a season and if there's potential for the series over all. You liked to plot so maybe as they gain the space to take their time and focus on the story you'll find you like the show.

  10. lol. I almost added my 'or' I don't want the show canceled. I want them to tell the end of this story and not come up with artificial reasons to continue this story into a second season.

  11. I really enjoyed it, also to see gillian anderson again on screen. i liked the twist in the end with the daughter, that it wasnt actually gillian's character's. and its not that 0815 storyline which has been told over and over already, its something different ;)

  14. I definitely see where you are coming from. While I thought this pilot was good in what it wanted to achieve, there was a lot of room for improvement. Thanks for sharing!

  15. I wanted to check this show out because the promos looked interesting, and Gillian Anderson was a regular. It was pretty awesome seeing so many familiar faces, although I couldn't recall some of their names or where I've seen them before, just that they do good work. I think the show has promise. There were a lot of parts and people that were a bit predictable to me. I'll watch a few more episodes to see where the show goes from here.
