I loved it!!, I'm really falling in love with this show, I almost cried when Tate was "arrested", I still don't understand the plot of the story, but well, it's too soon for that I guess, and also that makes the show even more appealing, not to know what to expect, or what's coming, so, now I'm dying to see what's next.
Umm. I found the episode rather predictable. Lots of chase scenes, giving away money for the greater good, and an explosion just add it in there - feels like every standard action movie. That being said, when they start to explore the background of the characters, or the politics, or even the psychic institution - they probably have a good layout and a good cast for something more original. I liked how they added another layer to the "bad" guy - maybe Winters isn't all that good.
good ep. a bit predictable on the "who will Bo help this week" plot, but the best part was the growing relationship between Bo and Tate. What might be interesting will be to see if the FBI agent will eventually become an ally even reluctantly later on as it felt like she didn't trust Roman's character that much.... an improvement on the pilot
This episode was a considerable step backwards for me.
I want more exploration of the conspiracy, more character development and not basically the same episode week after week. Being only the second episode the pattern can change of course....
We did get some much needed backstory with the information that the Believers are all renegades from Skouras's genetic research facility. And I am glad the basis for the show is genetic research and not aliens or some naturally occurring miracle child.
I think the next episode needs to be deeper and something more than just Bo and Tate on the run helping random people in need like some kind of NBC Life Makeover series.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was great! Love the chemistry between Tate and Bo. Can't wait to see the look on his face when he finds out she is his daughter!
ReplyDeletei loved it and i like how it's developing. Better than the pilot episode too. I hope it gets good ratings.
