    WOW. Finally some D'Artagnan and Constance episode stills! In one of them, it looks like Constance initiates a kiss! How am I supposed to wait till episode 8 now? Wow!

    Intrigued by the 2nd picture in 1.08. At first I thought D'Artagnan was facing off with Athos but unless Athos has changed the leather he wears, I don't think it's him.


    Intrigued too by the 2nd to last picture in 1.09. We know Porthos's position. Wonder what Athos will have to say about Aramis's interactions with the queen.


    Thinking also that the musketeers might get more personal interaction with Milady in 1.09. Athos seems to be brooding extra hard in the first picture.

    So much going on in these, ep 8 looks like there could be some kind of tournament going on with Vinnie Jones as one of the Cardinal's 'creatures' against the Musketeers? And then episode 9 looks like they are on the run or something?

    Hmm, I wonder if Athos finds out about D'Artagnan and Milady at the end of ep 7? That could be a tipping point for him to go rogue maybe and split from the others for ep 8/9...he seems to fighting them in pic 3 & 4 of 1.09

    Yeah, there is that, he could be mooching over either dead Adele, or the girl in the episode I guess, lol. D'Artagnan just looks a lil, umm, unkempt, is maybe the word I'm looking for?

    Doh, ofc XD Sorry, been a hard couple of days away this weekend and I'm playing catch up on three different shows at once, multitasking fail XD (or, I was spending too long just looking at the pic I linked to above I think to really look too hard at any of the others ;) :p lol)

    Hmm, so they are escorting Anne somewhere and Milady and/or D'Artagnan attack then maybe?

    Hello everyone ! I really believe they are just practicing swords on the 4th photo of episode 9, we can see this scene on one of the promos. And I think Aramis is daydreaming about Queen Anne lol


    I really love the 7th photo though, I don't know why. Maybe the landscape. Maybe...

    I don't know what it is but the d'Artagnan/Constance pic of them almost kissing looks super awkward to me. But that could be just me. I haven't been sold on their chemistry yet.

    It looks like a small leather money pouch, and yeah, like he's angry at being accused for something. It looks like it could be the morning after the night before for them maybe, which would be a shame imo. I'd hoped that Constance would be more separated from her husband before any affair happened, unless that happens in ep 7 ofc.

    Me too. I really didn't/don't want them to be doing it in the house under her husband's nose. Just, nope. I'm equally worried about the Aramis/Queen Anne plot (though I buy their chemistry more). If they're really going to go there, they need to be really careful about how they do it.

    In real life it was said Queen Anne spent a lot of time visiting religious places and convents and we also know she had good reason to be concerned about fertility. Maybe it's a mixture of the two?

    Never mind what Constance is wearing in the kiss pic, look what D'artagnan is wearing, it looks suspiciously like a Musketeer uniform. Luke Pasqualino has already said that D'artagnan and the Cardinal share a "one-on-one scene, around episode 8" so things are moving forward for him, perhaps too quickly as it turns out.

    The kiss looks passionate or angry rather than romantic.

    There's another little hint of her concern of her and Louis' lack of children in tonight's episode, which is what made me think that this is maybe what she is doing here. So I think you're right, perhaps visiting a shrine?

    It's looking like D'Artagnan does something to earn his Musketeers stripes in ep 7, just looked at the press release again and it mentions that the Cardinal's lie is in danger. So I'm guessing he must be instrumental in saving him as an act of gallantry can give entrance into the Musketeers?

    I like Constance, but every now and again I question the chemistry between them also. The pic does look a little stiff. I'm more sold on Constance as a character than I am on Constance and d'Artagnan as potential lovers. Maybe that will change after a few more episodes.

    On another note, I think it will be fun to watch Constance use a sword tonight.

    He's definitely wearing the musketeer pauldron thing. I thought they'd hold that back for his character until the end of the season. But they also never set up his quest or desire to become a musketeer that dramatically in the first place.

    Please don't take this the wrong way because I typo all the time, but I had to laugh at the typo in your comment. "The Cardinal's lie is in danger." Assuming you meant "life" is in danger I couldn't help thinking, well, maybe it's both. Those pesky little lies of the cardinal, always putting themselves in danger. Maybe we'd finally see one of those lies exposed. :)

    I can see chemistry between D'artagnan and Constance ( just about ) but what's not helping is that at the moment, whilst they have a few nice scenes together per episode, they've yet to have any significant screentime. They're kind of cute together but now desperately need some drama throwing at them, which hopefully episode 8 will provide. It looks like Milady will be hanging around D'artagnan again in episode 8 too ( she left a blue flower on his pillow a while back, to start drawing him into her and the Cardinals circle ) and it will be interesting to see whether he speaks off Milady any better than he does Constance.

    Sorry I'm rejoining this late. Just catching up on some of these threads.


    When I don't see the chemistry between them, it's typically because I think d'Artagnan isn't totally fleshed out as a character yet, so the motivations and byplay seem not as clear from his part. More significant attention to their story development might help me with that. Plus, as you said, there is the Milady situation still hanging out there.
