Big Love alum Patrick Fabian has landed a recurring role on Grey's Anatomy, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Fabian will play a pediatric surgeon who comes in to help Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Presumably, he'll come in contact with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Alex (Justin Chambers), but this is a Shonda Rhimes show, so details on what he'll be up to are scarce.
Fabian will first appear in an episode slated for early April.

Ooh, I like him! And having a storyline with Arizona and Alex is something I definitely want.
ReplyDeleteWTF do they need a 3rd pediatric surgeon?
ReplyDeletea really difficult surgery i guess¿?
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but big enough that your Department head (Arizona), Fellow (Alex) and resident (Jo) can't handle? Just seems fishy to me. Liek they are bringing someone in as a recurrign start to make then a series regular next year when someone (Justin or Jessica leaves)
ReplyDeleteI know it's a show that's always going to bring people in and out but it still annoys me somewhat. I mean why another peds surgeon? Recurring? Arizona as dept. head hasn't been seen doing surgery in a while and Alex is a very capable fellow. Regardless if Jo is there or not surly Arizona and Alex are capable to do a surgery together and it would give us some of their partnership again which I personally love. Drafting in another less surgeon just makes it seem like Arizona and Alex aren't capable which is utter BS.
