  1. Massive performance by The Walking Dead, especially against the Olympics!

  2. Good to see True Detective slowly rising, the buzz is getting louder every week it seems as people catch up and fall into the rabbit hole of theories.

  3. I am loving True Detective, but think it's a one season show. Can't see how it would work if it was renewed (unless they do a 'The Killing' on us and not solve the murder, which I really hope they don't).

  4. I don't watch, but it's supposed to work like American Horror Story does.

  5. It is a one season show or rather one story per season. If it gets renewed (which it likely will) it will be about completely different characters played by different actors and may not involve murder at all, I could also see them focusing on private detective or a journalist solving a crime or mystery. They could do present day style interviews in the form of writer researching a book and interviewing the main character(s).

Whatever they decide for S2 the story of Rust and Martin will be wrapped up in S1. One of the reasons they did this was to be able to attract big stars like McConaughey who couldn't commit to several seasons. Hope they get some big stars for S2 as well.

Walking Dead still a juggernaut but I am so excited about True Detective rising. If it continues it might match the premiere next week. Really hoping we hear renewal news soon.
