What the heck disease is this? Bleeding from the eyes makes me think it's Ebola, except for the coughing. Anyway, no drug has been produced that will cure Ebola, so the scavengers are out there for nothing.
Couldn't it be related to the disease that makes them turn in to zombies? I'm pretty sure blood type and such matters with disease and how it affects the system. I'm no doctor or anything but that's what I've read. If it is related to the disease, it may be still be treatable.
It's likely bacterial - the doc in episode 2 said so himself that it could be a strand of streptococcus - and the progression and aggressiveness of the symptoms points more toward bacteria rather than a virus, I'm thinking particularly staphylococcus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteWell, either way, it's supposed to be a virus, not a bacteria, which makes the search for antibacterials a waste of time.
