    That promo has me wanting to watch this now! So, I've been thinking about that riddle. Although, it probably is too early to start guessing, so I may be wrong, but here are some initial thoughts regarding the lines of this riddle/prophecy:

    - {b}"The Child of Ruin"{/b}: Since the show already
    says it's Jennifer, I'm wondering if "Ruin" means that she's an orphan DUE TO the Troubles, which brought ruin to Haven and ruined her family.
    Or, the "Ruin" could be a person/Audrey, and that she's Audrey's daughter, and
    Audrey is Haven's ruin, whether in the past (she and William really did
    cause Haven's troubles), or future (she may bring ruin to Haven
    somehow, like via William or her connection to him).

    - "must find the Heart of Haven": It could be a place, or a person, or less likely, an object. If it's a person, I'm betting Duke, since Crockers are one of the few families to have been there from the beginning, plus the nature of his Trouble, and then there's the emotional aspect of his propensity to be a hero.

    These thoughts, whether wrong or right, are the actual proof of Haven's quality as a show. Every time I watch an episode I lose myself in theories, 'cause each of them is full with clues, red herrings, fears and suspects.
    I had thought that place we see in the promo is the Heart of Haven, as you think. Plus, I thought it was somehow under the Lighthouse, even though the field of the barn seems a very important place, too.
    Dunno if Audrey will have to go with William or not: I don't hope so, mainly because it sounds like a redundancy of last finale (you know, with Audrey entering the barn etc.)
    As for the Ruin, I really don't know what to think. Both your theories may be right.
    What I really cannot believe is Audrey ever being evil. I mean, she caused the Troubles. To say better, she made them. But I guess there will be more to know about it: circumstances, maybe cautions justifying her or excusing her for what she's done.
    The only thing I know is that I strongly want to see the finale and the next season!

    Thank you for responding to my post, and sharing your own thoughts! Glad to know I'm not alone, with all these theories. I agree with you, that it proves how good Haven is, to have all of us theorizing and thinking of so many possibilities. It's just such a fun show, to inspire so much imagination and thought from viewers. I'd love to know, as soon as possible, when Haven's renewed. This show is so entertaining, and so much story to tell! Happy Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it)!

    I really hope they're gonna announce the renewal during this week. Some of the writers and cast members have tweeted similar hopes.
    I don't usually celebrate Thanksgiving, since I'm italian, anyway thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too :)
