    SQUEEEE!!! This is what i've been waiting for since last night!!! Why it has to be over some damn love spell, i don't like!! I want it REAL!! But okay, that whole image that showed last night with them after they drank the rabbit's brew, was hot! I will admit, i must've rewinded that about 8 times last night. Joe fixing his cuffs and then winking putting his hands in his pockets, he did that perfectly! God please let this kiss be real!! And i hope he's the one initiating the kiss!! And not over some "Kiss kiss" cheering going on. No i want some awkward silence, staring in your eyes, don't know what else to say, but kiss you KISS!!!

    It has to happen quickly because Mel's wearing the same dress she wore in the last scene of part 1, and in other sneak peek photos we've seen her wearing a different outfit, so they must spend their second day in Jersey which we'll get to see. ;)

    I know I know!! I realized they were wearing the same clothes afterwards. I'm thinking first 10 min. Since they still have their clothes on from the previous ending episode (which i keep watching btw, haha) I'm imagining that Joe is gonna be the one who says let's go upstairs and grabs her hand. I'm just wondering what their conversation will be like before they kiss. And i really really really hope that all of it really doesn't have to do with the "love spell" I've been studying the promo and it looks like Joe has that oh shit look and mb he wakes up Mel, and she freaks out, and then they have a talk, and his mom walks in etc....but I want them to WANT each other afterwards, like i want them to kiss one more time w/o having that rabbit's brew in their system and I want them to be SOBER when they kiss. I know they were gonna spend one more day in Jersey, cuz of what Joe said to Marco in the last episode. I just hope it's a good one more day. Just as long as they're not interrupted every 5 min after their one-nighter i'll be good.

    I'm wondering too about what happens leading up to the kiss. I'm not sure if they'll give into the attraction immediately or keep denying it until they get to the room. Maybe the last time they kissed in season 1 will be brought up?

    I'm hoping the love potion isn't real. By telling them it was a love potion leads them to believe that they are in love because of it, when in reality it's just bringing out buried feelings they've had all along. ;) I'm hoping that they go home at the end and have an honest talk. And kiss again. Please, lol.

    Nope, actually I'm right there with you. I myself have felt that Joe shows more jealousy than Mel, and for those reasons as you said. Mel shows jealousy or interest too. but not as much as Mel has. And what bothered me is that Lennox always went to Joe with the hints of asking Mel out, but she would never ask Mel. Even in this season Lennox tries hinting to Joe that he cares more about her than he thinks, and it just bugs me, she doesn't tease Mel about her hidden feelings for Joe. So yeah I guess I am with you on the excited about Mel kissing Joe first aspect. But then again, she's already done it TWICE. So i want to see Joe do it this time. But i will admit, i'll be super happy if they finally kiss and there's no excuse behind it!! Ok so it's a "love potion" but IDT it produces love persay, just Lust then the love comes from their own feelings. That's what i'm thinking. I also thought it would be that way that they just think it's b/c of the potion so they act on it. But then i thought his mother would not have gotten that upset that they were dosed with it, if it weren't real. I am VERY anxious to see what happens in the beginning leading up to this kiss as well!!! As many times as i watch the promo, it seems like Mel is smiling and then leans in, and Joe is already prepared to kiss her, b/c his eyes are closed before she closes hers. UGH!!! Is it Wed yet?!?!?!

    Actually Lennox did come to her twice, that I can remember. In the season 2 finale she wondered why Joe and Elena's marriage was bothering her so much, and then when Mel said people get hurt, Lennox asked if she would be the one hurt. And in the season 3 opener when Mel was stressed because Joe wanted to leave, Lennox asked if this was about losing an employee or "something more."


    Yeah she's kissed him twice but one was for show and the other was so short, and wasn't passionate, a "you're-my-nanny-but-you're-like-my-husband-in-many-ways-so-this-is-goodbye" kiss. At least that's how I interpreted it. I think I'll be happy when she kisses him first and then if he kisses her first later. So we can see both of their passion.

    Maybe Gloria and Nona both wanted them closer together and planned it, and Gloria snapped the bottle away to make a scene so they would get curious and she could tell them it was a love potion. Maybe I'm reading to far into it, I don't know, lol. Just a lust potion is a good idea, I didn't think of that, so they'll supply all the feelings and the potion will help them stop denying it for once. Eeeee I can't wait!


    When she kisses him they're already sitting on the bed so I really want to know if they just sat down to talk or were they planning on trying to sleep them together so Nona wouldn't get suspicious, or what? I just want to know so badly! And it's only Saturday! C'mon!

    SLOWEST SAT. EVER!! And ohhhh yeahhhh, I completely forgot about that!!! Lennox did do that! Thanks for that reminder. Yeah I really agree with you there, both of those kisses had no feeling towards it. Well the first one was in epic denial, subconscious way. (smh) the other was for show. I guess I would like to see him kiss her first b/c it seems like he has been fighting his feelings the longest. Even though they both realized their attraction to one another early on, i just feel like he's always the one who fights it more. But i did appreciate it when he kissed her on the cheek this season. Hahaha, that was funny. LMAO...yeah I think you're reaching a bit with that thought of Gloria and Nona. Hahahaha. I think when they're sitting on the bed, they already planned to sleep there. Ok let me take it back a little....I think when the ep. airs, that it'll pick up right where it left off, them attracted to one another in a confused "love spell drunken way" state. The music is too loud, so they go upstairs to talk. (about what Idk yet, still coming up with theories) And i think Joe makes some type of Joke or gives her a compliment or makes it obvious that he's attracted to her or (i know so many ORs) they both make a joke to break the ice, and they both say that they're attracted to one another?? I wanna know how their conversation will go AFTERWARDS...lol omg that'll be classic!! I mean, c'mon she's obviously comfortable in his arms(not the first time she's been) he's just waking up, and they are obviously having a conversation before Gloria walks in, i just want to know in that specific moment, before she walks in. are they disgusted by one another or are they being mature saying "We should talk and not pretend like it didn't happen".

    I hope the rest of the week up until 7:59 PM Wednesday goes faster than today! Yeah I agree, I think Joe is more vocal about his feelings as well. I think he's more likely to speak his mind and/or speak without thinking. That's just how his personality is. Oh, the kiss on the cheek! That was so sweet. ;) With that he disproved Mel's statement from the week earlier that deep down they didn't care about one another. I agree with you that they'll go upstairs to talk soon. But if it's not the music, maybe it could be Lennox and Ryder, asking if they're okay, and they may say they're not feeling the greatest and decide to go upstairs. Hmm. Yeah a joke or compliment, just their usual banter. Or maybe they'll talk about if they think the love potion is real or not, or maybe they will be totally denying it, denying that it had an effect on them, and they suddenly they lock gazes like they have so many times before and stop talking and kiss? Gah too many ors! I don't know what to believe, lol! Yeah from the promo I saw that too, that Joe is just waking up, and Mel's still sleeping. He looks comfortable there. I think his eyes grow wide either because the realization of what happened finally dawns on him or he hears Gloria coming down the hall and calling his name, possibly. I really want to know that too!!! I really want to know how she wakes up, if he wakes her up or if she does on her own, and her reaction. I'm getting this idea now that they'll just begin to start talking and piece together what happened when Gloria walks in, and then once she leaves they'll hastily get ready for the day and don't talk about it until later.

    HA!!!! IKR?? Ohhh i like that idea!! Lennox asking if they're ok. I'm sorry but I feel Ryder is too stupid to notice anything that goes on between Mel and Joe. That boy needs some serious character development. That's JMHO. Eh, so so, not too much like the season 1 finale. I feel like your idea is a little MORE than the finale, sure there's the usual banter, but there is something more behind that banter (ok just like there was with season 1, let me explain it better) this time they're actually sort of, acknowledging what they actually think. I mean with season 1, eating over Chinese, they were just hinting at if they were on the same page or not. I feel that this time, if they stare into each other's eyes and have banter, it'll be more blunt. Something that they both want. With the promo I feel his eyes are open widely b/c he's just waking up and realizes that a woman is in his arms. LOL I think it's when he finally looks down, or actually is fully awake, that he remembers sleeping with her. Idk she looks knocked out! lol I think he had to wake her. Oh god!! I hope not!! I hope they don't say let's talk about this later and quickly get dressed. I hate when they have their talks at the end of the episode! lol I really do, it urks me!! I'm hoping their conversation about what happened will at least be in the last 10 min, not last 2 min. like usual. That will kill me til 2014 (ok i'll have my other shows returning but STILL). They finally hook up, and i/we have to wait til after New Years to see if they'll pursue the relationship or not, no no no! Ugh, on another note, when I kept watching last week's ending, I actually had a sex dream with Joey Lawrence, (It went great til i heard a damn ambulance truck in my dream that woke me up!) but in my dream, I was Mel, but I was me! I looked like me, i sounded like me, but i was her character, ya know? I hope that made sense b/c i can't explain it any other way, hahaha. Anyways.. and Mel (me) went outside Nona's house to talk and I told Joe about how I felt really awkward about dating Tony, and how i did it b/c it was like dating him. So as i'm stuttering, trying to get the words out. He looks at me with those big light brown beautiful eyes of his, and lifts my chin with his hand, and i finally spit out "And i've liked you for a long while" and then Joe says it too, then we kiss. Sooo my point is, that i'm hoping they'll say the same thing. They'll both say they've liked each other for a long while, and then KIss!!....If none of this happens, I'll be crying right along with you!! Get the kleenex out just in case. = (

    I think Ryder is oblivious to their feelings too, but I think he would at least notice if they both had weird expressions on their faces. But I think Lennox would pick up on what was going on. Speaking of which, I think Ryder needs more screen time; he's hilarious! Maybe season 4 if Lennox goes off to college we'll get more story lines with him. Hm but his suspension will be over so he'll be going back to school. I wonder how they're going to deal with that. Will Mel and Joe be alone a lot?


    I agree with you on season 1. Haha I love your dream! So sweet. :) To use that idea Mel might say she's felt something for a while and then Joe might say, "I thought you couldn't stand me." And then she would smile and say no and lean in for that kiss we see in the promo. Just watch all of our ideas be completely off, lol!


    If he wakes her up I'm guessing he'll be shaking her and saying, "Burke! Burke! Get up!" because we all know they use their last names to put distance between them. And then we'll see. She'll probably move a little farther away from him automatically. I can't tell, is he wearing a shirt when they're lying there or does he put one on after they wake up? They always seem to talk either in the final 2 minutes after that last commercial break or in the last 3 minutes before the break and then after. If they do any talking at all and decide where this is going, I'll be happy.


    I wonder how the day in Jersey plays out. Seems like Mel and Joe talk to Nona a lot. Nona's probably going to ask them how their night was, lol. From the photos it looks like Theresa gives Joe something which he either hands to Nona or Nona hands something to him? Family heirloom? Promising good fortune for their marriage? And how do the goodbyes go? Does Nona say one last thing to them that sticks with them, perhaps? Or does Gloria say something? Honestly I could probably talk about all the "What if?s" for hours, lol.

    Ohhh i didn't think of that, I like that idea. Lennox off to college, and Ryder back in school, Mel and Joe alone a lot. Interesting, but i think Ryder will come between them in one way or another, b/c HE JUST DOESN'T GET IT!! (seriously it needs to be spelled out for him). He is funny! He's so dumb, lmao, when he tells Theresa "She gave me a job." I cracked up so hard! Thinking in actuality she's probably just talking about a REAL rat, not a person you cornball. hahaha (He really does need to go back to school). LOL oh god i hope not!! I'm sitting here reading your comments, saying oh i like that, oh i can see that happening, oh yeah they could def. say that, hahaha and then we're wrong about all of it. I think we'll be right about some things. No worries. = ) (being a complete fanatic about all my shows, i do tend to have some of my theories right, so we'll see)...ya know what? Ok when she was dating, what's his face, idr his character's name, so i'll just say Justin (Hartley) and she couldn't sleep with him in the bedroom, and she goes to Joe and he just opens the window for her asking if that's better..w/o hesitation...omg swoon! and when He was trying to tell her how you know someone is into you when you can just stare in their eyes and their staring back at yours and he didn't look away, and she was trying to make it seem like she wouldn't continue looking in his eyes. I screamed, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO ME?!?!?! God Joe is just giving her the greenlight, and she's soooo blind!!! Or she just refuses to take the hints!! One thing I did love is when Joe wanted to give her that love test with Justin, and he asked "Are you in love with somebody else?" And he looked at her when he finished that sentence, and she hesitated and looked at him!! I loved that scene. I just keep imagining if Justin never said "YES" what would Mel have said??? Idt she would've said no right away. Sigh, it's good to dream isn't it? lol (sense the sarcasm)....Hmmm the day in Jersey, well based on the promo pics, I'm thinking the first 10 min will be Mel and Joe trying to figure out what's next for them. I'll be yelling, Idc about Lennox and Marco kissing goodbye, idc that Ryder has to kill a rat, just go back to Mel and Joe!! LOL Idk what that piece of paper is about, but i can't wait to find out!! I was thinking Joe's marriage certificate??

    His name was Noah I think. Yeah he opened the window for her, that was perfect, and she could have gone to Lennox or Ryder but she went to him. (On second thought it might not have been best to go to Lennox since she had to get up early, and Ryder's Ryder so if they don't have a guest room maybe going to Joe was the best choice.)


    Omg that scene is one of the best. He asked the question and looked at her immediately, probably having the slightest amount of hope, and then she looked back and he kept on staring at her. I'm not sure Mel would have said anything, but I think if Austin paused long enough he would have noticed the way they were looking at one another and said something about it.


    I don't think Mel's blind to how she feels, I think she just tries to repress those feelings because she doesn't know if she wants to have them. I think in the beginning episodes when they were becoming friends she started to think of him as more but pushed that out of her mind because it just wasn't realistic at the time, him living in her house working as her nanny. And then in the season 1 finale he pushed it out again. But in the season 2 finale I think she really how much she does care and that she couldn't deny it any longer.


    And since Joe keeps backing out right before he admits to something, I doubt she thinks Joe feels the same, so she doesn't want to take that first step. Like in the season 3 opener

That Mel and Joe moment in the bedroom is probably one of my top 10 fav moments. (ok who am i kidding, probably top 20, they have so many). Oh def. I could see her saying nothing just looking at him, if Noah didn't say yes. That would've been awkward and awesome at the same time!!! Hmm, soo question, about Mel's "fear"......how'd that speech work out for you? You practiced that in the mirror a few times?? Convinced yourself?? LMAO!! Is that your way of getting through every moment they have?? LMAO....it was great really, Bravo, Bra-freaking-O.....but i'm thinking ok Mel, let's call it what it is, You were dealt the cards, ya cut the deck, ya played your hand, and neither of you came out on top. Now if wanna start the game back up again, go with a different shuffle...get me?? If Mel were in front of me now i'd say...Let me say it to you in the New Yorker....." Ugh, just thinking about it, i need an aspirin. hahaha. They're are as you said, unbelievably stubborn!! TBH, i felt Mel noticed her attraction to him first in Season 1, back in the Dancing in the Taledo episode. When she was all drugged up but dancing with Joe in her slumber, HA!! I loved that. That to me, that's when we found out she found him attractive. Man i wish her secretary would come back, she'd force the issue more now!! They've come so far!! I was really hoping Tony would be the catalyst maybe he'd make a surprise visit or something to Nona's. But guess not, shrugs.....hahaha a minute!! That was funny!! I mean seriously it's a 22 min episode, i want Mel and Joe centric for our last new episode until 2014 (My god that's a long wait) I want Lennox and Zander together too. I mean they're cute together, but it is summer time, it's time to be single and mingle. I think Marco is adorable...Ok i'm more attracted to the actor, which btw, have no clue how old he is, it wasn't even on IMDB, guess he's not that big yet. He's a small fish in a big ocean. He's a guppie! And i don't like his pretend Jersey accent, it's too thick. Maybe it's cuz i hate Jersey, lol. The fact that they make Jersey a "dangerous state" completely turned me off. smh (I am such a new yorker) Just as long as they never go to Boston i'm good. LOL But w/e it's apart of Joe, so i'll accept it. Birthday card?? Girl, that is a document!! LMAO ( i think) = )

    LOL, no, I used to write a fanfic for them from Mel's POV and I analyzed a lot of of their moments together (she was talking to her wedding dress, Vera, lol) so I'd like to think I got inside the character's head. Plus I tend to get a little carried away when I write.

    I wish he would have admitted it too... but I think he changed his mind last minute because he had seen how happy she was with Austin and he cares about her enough that he didn't want to ruin that, not intentionally at least lol.

    The dancing episode made her feelings obvious at the end, but even before that in the one prior, Joe hooked up with the reporter at the end of the episode. She had brought home food for both of them and saw him kissing her and looked really shocked and upset. Yeah Stephanie would really push them together, I hope she comes back for the second half of season 3. I wish Tony came back too... at least to notice how much closer Mel and Joe have gotten and say something about it.

    2014... ugh no don't even. Well there's always live taping? I think they go back in October. I think they overdid the whole Jersey thing a bit. But it's not a big deal for me. It's just nice to see them away from their house for a change, lol. Well we're going to see I guess. :) You're in luck; a sneak peek was posted. (Go watch it right now if you haven't already. Now. Run.)

    Well I was way off... the last thing I expected was for them to be completely drunk lol! I guess with how much wine they drink already it never even crossed my mind. Mel called him her sweet Joe-Joebee aw that was cute. :) And Joe admitted how happy he was that she was there. They're going to wake up sooooo hungover lol..... this is going to be great... I'm so excited!!!

(i've done it with tvd). omg!! i just watched the sneak peek and i was trying so hard not to scream at the bus stop. lol i was smiling like a fool a few min ago, and i know everyong was staring like what is wrong with that girl?? lol since i didn't yell i let out a very long squeee. hahaha. Ok i'm so sorry but i have to talk about this promo really quick....first off....bullshit!!! they couldn't have been THAT drunk...c'mon she had a cup and a half, and he never even finished his cup! once they found out it was a "love spell" they stopped drinking. so i refuse to believe as much as they drink, that they could be such lightweights! Unless that grandma really dosed the hell outta that bottle. lmao...but on another note...THAT KISS WAS HOT!! and the scene was hilarious!!! ugh there's so much i want to reply to u about, but i have to go....i'll be back later on. in about 3-4 hrs

    I was on the bus when I first watched it too! The connection was horrible and I was struggling to watch it and then had to bite my lip to keep back from smiling so much lol.
    Maybe they grabbed the bottle back after the last scene in part 1, since they had gotten under the spell by then. They seem like they're still drinking in in that sneak peek; they both have glasses in their hands that are not yet empty. And it could just be REALLY strong stuff, lol. It is a love potion, after all. Or maybe they're pretending to be a little more drunk than they really are. O.o


    I loved the kiss! <3 Reminds me of a little of The Nanny, lol. The whole scene itself was great. Drunk Mel and Joe are hysterical! It's wabbit season! lol. I wouldn't be surprised if before this we see Nona locking the door behind them and walking away with a smile on her face.

    I could be wrong,but I think last weeks episode was either one of their highest rated this season or ever(for obvious reasons).The Melissa/Joey pairing is extremely popular among viewers and most of them can't wait for them to get together.I think they spoiled it just for ratings.People are definately going to tune in now(if they saw the promo that is).It's extremely rare to spoil such big moments like that in general.Especially when they do it both in promos and sneak peaks,then you know something is definately up.

    I heard that too. I think just about anyone who watches the show wants them together. Though if this is just a trick to lead us on and make us watch it, and then they don't get together, I'll be pissed... but you can bet I'll still be tuned in when the rest of the season premieres, lol. I'll keep hoping. But if they did find a creative way for them to get together that would still keep the show going it would be awesome.

Lol...Hmm maybe, maybe they did say WTH and decided to keep drinking. Yeah I realized after I posted my previous comment that they still were drinking. Geez Love potion, god that sounds cheesy, maybe the writers were drinking when they threw that in. LOL....The Nanny, lol gotta love Fran....I cracked up so hard with the "Wabbit season" line. Classic, but what got me is when Joe said the door was locked. LOL If Nona is there that's some great stuff. She's a sneaky little minx isn't she? Oh np, and THANK YOU!! I do this every day (well when my shows return in the fall, eh ok i'm doing it everyday regardless hehe), I NEED to talk about this stuff, or i don't get my fix! LOL And from our previous convo...Marco's name is Kevin Fonteyne. I liked Stephanie, idk why they got rid of her. Haha, apparently people are spelling it Joe-joe bee. I agree i'm also glad they're away from the house!! I imagine we'll get a lot of Lennox at college scenes, so that'll also be away from home. Which is a nice change. Now that i think about it, I really want to witness Lennox and Ryder's reaction to this Mel and Joe hookup (SQUEE, the more i say it the better it becomes). Personally i think Lennox will be as ECSTATIC as we are!! And the fact that she witnessed it first hand. Her jaw dropping reaction was brilliant. Ryder i have no idea of what his reaction will be. HE BETTER BE OKAY WITH IT! (stewie reference). Just thinking about the clip, i mean all Joe said was thank you for coming, and she just slide right on in there. lol I love it!!! Listen to me, getting hyped all over again. lol One thing i don't want to see....Elena's return!! Idk but i feel like they would have her return before the season is over just to get in the way of Joe and Mel and then Joe would have to make a choice. Ugh!!

    Could be... with the decline in ratings this season (last week was a bit of an exception this year I think) I wouldn't be surprised if they're giving people the good so that they'll show up when the episode actually airs/

    Last weeks episode may have been good in terms of ratings, but the season's ratings in overall have faced a decline. So maybe they are pimping the Mel and Joe hook up to get people to watch.

    A show that only airs 2-3 months out of the year is bound to struggle a bit with ratings.Some people probably forget it's even on.It's also summer and vacation time and people usually watch less tv in general.

    Considering they renewed the show before season 3 aired,it's probably not such a big deal it didn't do so well this year.They still have 40 more episodes to prove them wrong.Personally I thought this was their weakest season so far,but I'm a dedicated fan and will watch it regardless.Maybe ABCFamily is content with the ratings and the dedication of the fanbase,much like The CW was with One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl.Both of those shows + ratings were horrible the last couple of seasons but was renewed year after year despite of that.Even if fans begged to get them cancelled,they still watched out of loyalty(I used to be one of those people).Time will tell I guess.

    I'm thinking now that maybe the love potion could still be fake. I'm really hung up on thinking that it's fake, haha... but it would make sense if Nona was the only one who knew. It would explain why Gloria freaked out. And that would have made it more believable for Mel and Joe. Guess we're going to find out.


    I hope Stephanie comes back for the second half. She's funny, I doubt Ryder will be aware, at least not in this episode. No no no he didn't just say thank you lol, he basically said he couldn't be happier that she was there with him. Huh I never thought about Elena. He'd chose Mel any day, of course he would.

    Lmao....u still think it's fake huh? I don't wanna burst ur bubble (not intentionally) BUT..sigh...the promo. The morning after...look at their faces. U can't fake that oh shit moment. Lol that's the ONLY thing that gets me. If it weren't for that, I'd TOTALLY go with ur theory. I'd laugh so hard if Elena and Stephanie came back around the same time and Stephanie just yelled at Elena telling her to GO AWAY YOU LOST UR CHANCE, IT'S MEL AND JOE'S TIME NOW!! loLol I'd laugh til there was no breath in me. I know he didn't say just thank you. But it was shorter to type. Lol but seriously why they finally gave in at THIS PUTICULAR POINT AND TIME....iI'll never understand it.n it's not just that love spell. Mel knew what she was doing, so did Joe for that matter. And he didn't hesitant one bit, he didn't back away saying WHOA! (Lol see what I did there) he went in! So I really want to get the reason for WHY now? ya know? I think I'll watch the other episodes til the new ep. Airs....see you after! : )

    We'll see. I'll be happy happy happy no matter what. :) But i'm 90% sure they get together after watching that new Christmas special promo. :) It made me 10 times more excited for tonight!!!
    Well I think it's happening now because they're being forced into this situation. If Nona never locked that door, Joe would have went to the guest room as he planned and slept there. They both would have woken up really hungover but in separate beds. (Unless one of them went to the other but that's out of the question now).
    Yeah she gave him plenty of time to back away, that was great. I just can't wait! Going to go watch too lol. 2 hours.
