  1. Now ... who said Warlow and Ben weren't the same person ... ?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I thought he wasn't. I was wrong, a lot of people did think he wasn't him. I wasn't the only one who thought that.

  3. I'm torn between if Andy's kids are dead or alive. Jessica was very stupid to do that, they are only half fairies and just wanted to go home.
I don't think they are dead, b/c Fairies in the past when they are killed don't look like that.

  4. well I guess we were right in guessing that Ben was Warlow, but the one thing that I was curious about is why he was spitting out grandpa's blood at the motel... perhaps he can't consume blood? I was bummed about Jessica killing the fae kids (or at least appearing to do so - I hope that they aren't dead) I did think that Sam hooking up with the activist girl was a bit too quick for both of them (even though they're both in pain, but c'mon!) I am looking forward to seeing what will happen with Eric's only other progeny, Willa as she might have some potential...

  5. It didn't even cross my mind, that Ben was Warlow..I was thinking he was Fae and Bill was gonna use him as a blood supply, since Sookie evicted him! lol

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm thinking he spit out the blood because he didn't want to get "high" the way fairy blood usually affects vampires.

  7. Finally they have an episode that portrays Sookie with a brain and not mooning over Bill..

  8. Lately I hadn't been liking TB as much as I did the firsts seasons but this chapter was amazing, hope they keep it up

  9. I love this new Sookie. This was amazing, Ben is now Warlow nice, but I saw this coming. Where Grandpa go? Jessica make terrible things, I hope the faires are not dead. Damn Pam was capture, I hope Tara and Eric save her.

  10. I thought so when he first appeared, then they fooled me with his fairy abilities. Cool twist.

  11. Jessica was stupid but they've given us enough examples of the fact that vampire can't help themselves around fairies.

  12. I am really liking this season...though I think i could still do without Alcide and his wolf pack. At least this season he's got a purpose with regard to Sam's story. He needs to royally smack that chick down. She's going to be a major problem.

I didn't expect the vampires from Bill's vision to be rounded up so quickly.

They turned Sookie's brain back on. Yes! Loved that last scene. :-D

I am extremely sad that Grandpa got tossed on the other side of that portal. I am really going to miss him he was fun.

The only problem I had with the ep is how long its taking Eric to stop underestimating the Governor. I expect Eric to be quicker to size up his opponents and calculate a strategic play. I know humans are fighting differently now that they've developed new weapons etc. and it made sense for Eric to fall back on the standard tactics in the last episode, but I expected him to have come up with new tactics this week. Turning the daughter just seemed so old school and destined to fail. Eric is smarter than that and I was disappointed.

Other than that.. really great ep.

  13. Ben was always Warlow, but didn't reveal himself into now.

  14. just wondering who disagreed with my post above. I spoke to a lot of people and many did think he wasn't warlow..

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ben IS Warlow! (Glad we don't have to sweat it out. We can start getting some answers, well as long as Sookie doesn't kill him, but I do like the kind of schizo Warlow has with himself ---Battling dark and light.

I'm ok with Nicole now. She seems perfectly normal. It's also nice having Lafayette and Sam share a story line!

Really interesting that Eric made Willa a vampire! I thought the actual ritual scene was exceptionally atmospheric. In fact there's been a lot of scenes like that so far and I like it. There has also been a lot of close ups of characters--it lets us see more of their expressions. I feel Willa is like Godric and Nora combined (Her looks and her deep spiritual views). I hope she doesn't die.

Wonder if Andy's fairy children are all dead? That would be such a shame, because I don't know if Andy would survive a revenge path and because it would have been cool to see them team up and fight something. --But Jess shouldn't have gone along with this in the first place. --But considering the theme now seems to be to make Fairy Vampires (Warlow), maybe they will be turned? This might be what Lilith wants...

Pam getting caught is too bad, but I think we will see an Eric and Tara team up, which I would enjoy, because those two don't get a lot of screen time alone together, but I can now see how Bill's vision might come true, as they probably all get caught trying to save each other.

I think it was interesting that Andy's kids made Terry feel bad. If he and Arlene have a story line, I have no idea what it is.

    So sick of the Warewolves!

And Woah, Sookie! She's being pretty tough this season. I know some people might miss the old Sookie, but I'm grateful to see another side and see where it leads.

Jason -That shaving scene was a riot. At least Warlow/Ben saved him, but again it's so weird since he killed their parents. I wonder if there is a part of him that does really like Sookie?!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jessica is constantly naive, although I think her intentions are noble. I kind of think they might be close to death and they might try and turn them...If the didn't live, I will be worried for Andy's story line.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think he knows that, he was just implying we the viewers have an "official" confirmation.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I like seeing another side to Sookie too! Her change in attitude I think changed the tone and I think that's interesting..

  19. "I am really liking this season...though I think i could still do without Alcide and his wolf pack. At least this season he's got a purpose with regard to Sam's story."

I totally agree! It's one of my favorite seasons so far, because there is a mysteriousness that reminds me of the first season, but I also think there have been things written/shot to be more cinematic, more character introspective and it feels like there is a more solid story here (also like in earlier seasons).

I don't know if the "chick" you are referring to is Nicole, but after this episode, I find I can get on board with her. I didn't trust her to begin with, even though I think you're right that she could be a real problem...

As for the warewolves, ya, enough's enough. I could do without it too, although it gives Sam and Nicole something to share.

One reason I like that Eric turned Willa (although I hope all of these new children of everyone don't keep dying) is how she symbolically has traits that are similar to Godric and Nora, being child-like, but also with deep spiritual values. I hope Willa doesn't die, because of what she stands for, but the truth is, I don't know Eric really thought this throw, or if he really believes that Willa could change her father?

  20. It's no big deal. I'm wrong a lot of times! :D

-But,as Donna pointed out to me too, Warlow had to be able to enter the Fairy club, so it stands to reason that Warlow would have to be part Fae. -But I wasn't sure myself, because of Bill having super abilities and the idea that Bill isn't just Bill anymore...I'm glad it turned out to be Ben though and we don't have to wait any longer, especially since this season is shorter. I like the idea of a vampire-fairy hybrd and the idea of dark wrestling with the light.

  21. Do you think Sookie gave Ben/Warlow the wrong dinner plate? I wondered about that since he ate the entire thing, and I was hoping to see a reaction out of him. That was a good scene, and I loved what Sookie did.

I don't know how I feel about Andy's faerie daughters, but I feel bad for him. Jessica seemed really sad too. She didn't intend to drain them. I wonder if she did though.

I used to love Alcide, but now . . . just go away!

I was happy when Nora got caught. I cannot stand her!

And I really need Pam to stop following Eric around like a lost puppy. I know he's her maker, but he released her so I wish she'd stop begging him for attention, etc. He's not worth it.

I was actually surprised the Governor (whenever I write or say that, I immediately think of TWD - haha) didn't immediately kill his daughter. He seems pretty ruthless but I guess he does care about her. It looks like she's going to end up at the camp.

I think Bill's vision - at least some of it - will come true.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I felt the same way about Eric's plan. Making the daughter a vampire is not going to stop the Governor. I was actually surprised when he didn't kill her immediately though.

  23. "Do you think Sookie gave Ben/Warlow the wrong dinner plate? I wondered about that since he ate the entire thing, and I was hoping to see a reaction out of him. That was a good scene, and I loved what Sookie did."

I am def puzzled by the scene too! I don't know if he's just strong enough to take it, or if it just hasn't kicked in yet? -But I don't recall if she ate hers early, or if she really just didn't eat it, but I'm surprised it didn't tip Warlow off, although I suppose maybe he just didn't care, because he knew he could handle it. I can't wait to see how scene continues playing out!

I wonder if Bill and Jess will try to turn them (if thy are not dead), or if Bill will just take them prisoner?

"I think Bill's vision - at least some of it - will come true."

    Me too!

    ReplyDelete
  24. She took both plates away when he didn't show up after awhile so that's why I worried that she gave him the wrong one. I loved her plan so much that I couldn't wait to see him keel over or something. Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Maybe Sookie was planning to eat the silver-laced salad and chicked so her blood would be silver laced for Ben/Warlow's pleasure.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ah! That's another good possibility! Good thinking :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love that idea :-)

But she didn't eat anything at all. I saw her take both full plates away, but I love the idea. In fact, I thought she might have put some of that stuff on her bra as well. Haha!

I can't wait for next week's episode. I'm one of the few Bill/Sookie fans, but I liked seeing her take control and confront Warlow! She should be sick and tired of vamps at this point!

    ReplyDelete
  28. But the girls are only half fae. They might not turn to dust. Sookie's granddad turned to dust when he died, but he had been eating that weird light-fruit.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "I wonder if Bill and Jess will try to turn them.."
---Me too! Maybe Bill wants to safe them with his blood ( if they're not dead ) and accidently turns them into fairy vampire Hybrids cuz he has Lilith's blood in him. (..if that's possible)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ya, you're right! Thanks for reminding that there only part Fae! :)

Really good episode, im glad the show is getting back to its feet, although there are story-lines that need to go. The show has too many regulars.

My thoughts exactly, that is the Sookie that I love!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really hope they're not dead....Andy's was heading there angry and armed. He's not going to be calm....I'm with you...he might not survive either, if those girls are dead.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The "chick" I was referring to is the female werewolf that's never wants to listen to Alcide.

Nicole has been too....um.. stupid for me to completely distrust. :-) I just can't tell you how much I wish they had NOT fallen on the old fashioned soap opera 'tears to kissing to sex(?)' moment.

I don't have a problem with Eric turning Willa. My problem is with Eric believing that her existence was going to change the Governor.

  35. I feel like I'm missing something. Is Warlow father of Niall? Why does Warlow wants Sookie so bad? What was the deal with it? How are Sookie's parents involved in that? Someone here said something about Sookie's grandpa and "light-fae-fruit" - what whas that about? How old is Niall? Why Niall wants Warlow? Why Nora got caught so quickly, when she is the only vampire that is actually useful against Billith?

And final question: Nora said that the progeny can kill Lilith. Does this mean that Jessica can kill Bill (lol) or Warlow has to kill Bill?

Please answer, because it bothers me so hard. :(

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL! -I don't like Vicki either. (i'm "wared" out!)
And ya I don't know if that is what Eric truly believes, although despite that possible ignorance, it's also touching that he would think that family should mean something, but also a tad bit hypocritical, considering how he has been treating Pam and Tara...

    ReplyDelete
  37. From what I gather:

Warlow is Lilith's protege; (and True Blood wiki says "Progeny") He is seen an a mysterious figure and is even obscure to Lilith's followers.

Warlow lived in Naill's village and killed everyone in his village, but Niall (he was a child and Warlow could not kill a child) thousands of years ago. (Naill is their Faery grandfather and not their actual blood relative. -Just like Caludine was Sookie's Faery Godmother)

In 1702 Sookie's relative John William Stackhouse has a contract with M. Warlow which states Warlow has the rights to the first Female Fae relative after this point.

Warlow comes looking for Sookie and kills Sookie's and Jason's parents. Claudine sends him into another realm for 20 years.

20 years after Warlow was sent to another realm, Sookie and Claude preform a memory ritual that acted like a beacon and led Warlow to be able to find his way back to "our" realm.

We do not know yet WHY this contract was made and what Warlow Truly wants with the female heir of J.W. Stackhous. Naill has said that Warlow has been obsessed with their family and that their family is part of the original line of the oldest Fae (hence the super nova light ball)

  38. I like the large cast, especially since we are seeing more of the characters together and crossing paths on occasion. I just wish they could come up with a better plot for the ware wolves, but it's also only episode 3 so perhaps I'm judging too soon?

I dont think its bad they have a big cast but the participation and screen time becomes too minimal. I mean, look at Tara, Steve, Pam, Lafayette and others. They barely have a role this season.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ya, but Pam & Lafayette had pretty big roles the past couple of seasons. I think they all take turns, but I would agree it would be nice for Tara to again have a bigger story line, but I'm looking forward to a possible Tara and Eric team up!

    ReplyDelete
  41. all this to say good theory but Ben did not drink Niall's blood he drank deeply and spit it into the tub as to drain him but not feed.

    ReplyDelete
  42. True, but it's possible he didn't drink it so he wouldn't get "High" and give himself away to Sookie!

    ReplyDelete
  43. That lightens up few things, thank you, thank you a lot. :)

    ReplyDelete
  44. No problem! :)
