Just got round to listening to the podcast this morning. Love all the enthusiasm.for this great ep. :)

Andrea was very appealing perhaps because she was so young and yet had a kid to worry about.
I agree about her dad too. He interpreted the role very well. Sheriffs are usually spot on, on the show, including the marvellous Jodie!
As for seeing Amy as the bad girl on POI, I was trying to figure out who she was when I saw her, then it clicked, but perhaps because I remember her as a goodie, it's a bit difficult to imagine her as the evil computer genious.
I've only seen the first series of POI so perhaps she will prove her evilness to me in season two. :)
True about the kids. SPN does evil kids so well:)
I agree about Lucas in 'The Girl Next Door'. Do you actually know if it was the same actor or not?
The Lucas/Dean scene was very nice, as all the scenes were; Dean is just so good with kids..
I might be one of the minority who love monster of the week episodes. I like seeing the boys on the job, working out the clues.
The lake shot was wonderfully done and I agree that it's a terrifically well acted episode, however by that time I was totally enamoured of the brothers that everything they did was golden!

As for the dark lighting. I loved it. I thought it gave a mysterious atmosphere to the show. I actually miss that in later seasons.
My mind always goes to the scene in IATL when as Dean learns rthe truth from Zacheriah the lighting goes from bright to darker, back into the brothers' real world.

How Dean says his line about his mother does seem to imply that he did see his mom burming on the ceiling or a glimpse of it anyway.

I hate the whole Stanford 2-4 years apart story. I think it's horrible that the brothers' were divided from each other in such a delicate moment of their deveopment for so long without any communication between them. So sad for me.
