Hemlock Grove - Netflix Interested in Season 2

If you enjoyed the first season of Hemlock Grove, there’s a good chance that a second season will go into development. Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, recently spoke to THR about the possibility of a second season: “We’re hearing the pitches for the second season with plotlines and storylines now.”

    This is actully no news, it`s just not that known. The series only got greenlit 1 season because the first season is the book the show is based on. The people behind the show have plotlines for two more seasons, but they ended season 1 as a standalone thing, as they should incase a second season is not given.

    Deran Sarafian (a somewhat "friend" of mine) says they`re in meeting for the second season, and just startet with it a couple of weeks ago.

    I was not the point of that comment, i just wanted to bring that to light that season 1 was the book, and everything else is beyond the book. No need to go all dramaqueen.

    I am not sure what the critics were talking about. I started the first show and couldn't help but keep going. I loved it and am going to recommend it to others.

    I think it is refreshingly surprising and really enjoyed the mix of characters and the actors that played them. It doesn't take the expected path ever and another Season could expand on what is already a rich story line. I had just finished watching the Kevin Spacey Netflix drama and was looking on Netflix to find something new. I had seen a lot press for the Spacey original drama, but not a thing on Hemlock Grove. I just found it by chance and enjoyed every twist and turn. Would love to see where story would go, because right now I have no idea. So nice to have a supernatural story that is not written around and dependent on a love story. Not your typical Werewolf/Vampire story at all.
