Way to go Claire, Emma you're fucking sick (btw I saw Emma killing Jacob miles away), and I love Ryan, Joe doesn't seem like he's going to last with that injury, I wonder how they would manage to go on without joe
Definitely better than most episodes. Kudos to Claire for restabbing Joe. Maybe he'll get an infection. Good to know someone can get in Joe's way. I say it again though - Emma MUST die!
Great episode!! The FBI was supposed to figure out the clues and did their job. Hopefully no one will bitch this time. People need to understand there's not endless man power especially when they're in a small town and each episode equals about a day. You can't send a ton of agents when they're figure out clues as they go. Had they known plan of attacking the safe place days before that'd be different and more help could've been sent. Awesome episode, Claire is proving herself each new ep, Weston actually didn't get hurt(boy needs a break) and god I hope they can save Parker I love her. As much as I love Claire though, it would really be full circle to end with her killed in a lighthouse. I can't believe we only have one more episode until 2014.
I personally hope Kevin Williamson decides to completely change the story and the characters next season (a la AHS). He can't expect people to keep tuning in if he keeps killing the only interesting characters in such silly ways. I'll probably get voted down for this, but that's what I think. I was really starting to like Jacob after he had to kill Paul and he grew a pair. Debra was one of my favourites since she first appeared, and they both had so much back story left to explore.
Emma killing Jacob was so predictable. :| And how is it physically possible for an Agent to be caught alone with 2 cult members in a place that with about a hundred other law enforcement officers? Let's assume that by some miracle, she got caught and no one heard her. How the hell did they get her out of the building? That place is crawling with cops, Feds and U.S Marshals. It is impossible to kidnap anyone in such situations, much less a high ranking Fed whose orders a lot of others wait for and hence, whose whereabouts are known by a lot of them! At this rate, next season, Joe will have a superpower.
I cringed and was totally sick to my stomach when they put Parker in the box......her crying at the end with the credits will stay with me for quite a while. It seems that she has a cell phone with her and maybe they will get to her in time. Joe must have super powers to endure the blood loss and pain yet still be able to push Claire around. I am glad Jacob is dead...........Emma made him into the monster and Emma killed her monster..........she's Dr Freaking Frankenstein.I want her gone ASAP. That loony tune they caught and Ryan almost strangled is she a type of "Manson" girl like Squeaky.....very eerie.I am glad that they shoot first and ask questions later.......Weston and Ryan were great walking through that minefield in the gymnasium. Whew when all hell broke loose WOW very frightening.,...again I do not know how this team manages to split up all the time............I would slide my back along the wall and never let anyone behind me TRUST NO ONE.....poor Parker I hope Ryan or Weston find her.........maybe it will come down to who do you save Ryan ....Claire or Parker?? Please choose Parker. I was happy to see that couple escape from the maniacs......kudos to Claire. She should have finished Joe off.....BTW he cracked me up.....making pasta....... parmigiana cheese???? LOLOLOL He is stabbed and drugged and still he manages to pull off quite a dinner party. LOL...
My gosh... Best episode of the show IMO! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, so many memorable moments! I absolutely adored Clarie tonight, she was so badass... I hate Emma so much though, hated that they killed of Jacob, although I sort of understand that his story was played out. But that ending... I had to move it faster, it was too much for me, Parker's screams. I will watch a comedy now or else this will stay too much with me. It was awful. So sad that they killed her off, she was one of my favorites. I have no idea what will be of the show next year. But truly spectacular hour. I don't care how many negative stuff people will say about the show. It certainly isn't perfect writing wise, but the acting and the storyline are incredible and it certainly keeps me on the edge of my seat as few shows can do!
The Jacob/Paul/Emma dynamic was so good because it humanised all the characters into being relatable, now they've killed two and made one utterly psychotic!
I just don't like the fact that there is a cult of killers running around anonymously, yet the mayor decides to round up a bunch of people in one confined place. In a situation where you don't know who's good and who's bad, that's the last thing you want to do.
You must understand when The Following was picked up by Fox it was intended for one season hence's the killings of the character and i'm sure Kevin Williamson didn't expect The Following to be picked up and have such ratings lol I'm guess however The Following ends next monday they might open season 2 with several months or maybe yrs later for Joe to recruit more followers well that's how i would open season 2 technically Joe can't so many within days lol
I'm still confused where in New York have they filmed such amazing locations lol i lived in NYC for 23 yrs and have watched alot of TV shows where they filmed in NY but not these locations lol Must be Upstate lol
She is currently my least favorite new character, beating out Charlie since Charlie has gotten better. I can get through the incredible plot holes and writing if they only kill Emmma before season 2.
Ha! I wouldn't doubt it. He's already proven he can outwit the FBI soused out of his mind and strung up on painkillers. Telepathy or telekinesis doesn't seem like much of a stretch. My question, beyond my weekly "how is a serial killer on death row allowed so many visitors?" rant, is why haven't the FBI already documented everyone who visited Joe in jail and put them into a facial recognition scanner. Surely they can make an app for that. Why guess which ones were killers in the Community Slaughterhouse when you can just scan everyone into your phone?
Very, very true. Also, I don't believe that they wouldn't have some kind of metal detector/frisking/check your bags system in place. At least scan everyone's photo id as they come in so the FBI have some idea of who's supposed to be there. Quite frankly everyone who went to that loosey goosey operation should have turned right around, gotten into their car, and driven a couple states away to a nice motel....if they ever went there to begin with. It wasn't just the FBI that were morons in this episode.
I don't mind Charlie that much either since we came back from the hiatus (and I also think that even in the later fall run she was way better than the first bunch of episodes). Danny was worse, and he isn't a problem anymore (I think that was mostly the actor though). I am not watching that many new shows this year but from those I am, Emma is by faaaar the worse! I can't think of any other that bothers me like that, at all
Poor Parker, I hope she´ll make it alive. I was sad to see Jacob die, but It was predictable. Claire is a badass :D I have this wierd feeling that Emma will survive.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Can I say (with all due respect)....FUCKING AWESOME????? OMG I am having a stroke!!! Best espisode ever!!!
ReplyDeleteGood episode...wonder how they are going to go on to next season with a lot of the original cast dead though LOL
ReplyDeleteSo basically two of the three best characters have died in the first season. That really sucks.

ReplyDeleteI am also very sad that they killed both of them. I am still holding a flash of hope for Parker though, but very slim. Poor woman
ReplyDeleteI subscribe on death to Emma! Hate that little thing!
ReplyDeleteSame here with the stroke thing, amazing show and amazing episode!
